material and workmanship, under normal use and service, for a period
of one year from the purchase by the original purchaser. If this product is
defective or malfunctions, Cable Electronics will replace or repair this unit
(at their option) within a reasonable time. No expressed or implied warranty
is made for any defects caused by immersion or exposure to liquids, abuse,
neglect, improper operation of unit, excess wear and tear and defects
resulting from unauthorized disassembly and or modication.

• Extends HDMI and IR signal over one CAT5/5e/6/6a cable
• Uncompressed high denition video up to 1080p@60Hz@48bits
3D and 4K*2K capable
• Built in IR control
• IR signal able to send or receive at either TX/RX side
• Max. Data Rate – 10.2Gbps
• HDMI 1.4 and HDCP compliance
• Transmission range up to 60mM by CAT5e/6, 70M by CAT6a
cable at 1080p@60Hz@24bit & 40M at 4K*2K @30Hz
• Audio support up to LPCM7.1, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD MA
HDMI™ (HDBaseT) CAT5 Extender uses only one cost effective
CAT5e/6 cable to extend your HDTV display up to 60 meters at
1080p, 70 meters by CAT6a cable. This model includes IR
function to allow exibility in conguring home and commercial
entertainment systems.

SPECIFICATIONS
Cable
CE labs recommends the use of high quality CAT5e,CAT6, CAT6a, CAT7 UTP/STP or
FTP cable. The best results for extension distance and picture quality are achieved with a
better quality cable and properly installed RJ-45 terminated connectors.
IR Switch Setting
1. When the system is congured to send IR signals to the remote display site, set the
Transmitter IR to TX and connect a controller (IR pickup) to this IR jack. Set the Receiver to
IR RX and connect an IR Emitter to the IR jack.

2. When the system is congured to send IR back from the display site to the source, set the
Transmitter IR to RX and connect an IR Emitter to the IR jack. Set the Receiver to IR TX and
connect an IR pickup or controller to the IR jack.

4. The HX70M receiver unit has a normal working temperature that is warm to the touch.
Install in a location with sufcient ventilation and avoid stacking multiple receivers.

1. When there is no HDMI video signal input or a TV is not connected or the TV power is off,
this product will enter a low-power mode to save power consumption; while under a low
power mode, it still provides Ethernet, RS-232, IR, and CEC signal transmission.
