Safety Precautions
1. Never allow any part of yo r body to be nder the vehicle when it is s pported only by
the exha st jack.
2. Be aware that a vehicles exha st f mes are toxic if inhaled in large q antities. Therefore,
do not se the exha st jack in a confined space, and always t rn the engine off when not
inflating the jack.
3. Always chock both front and rear wheels opposite to the side nder which the jack is
being sed, and also apply the handbrake.
4. When placing the exha st jack nder the vehicle, ens re the bag is away from hot or sharp
nderbody parts and clear from any sharp sticks in the gro nd.
5. It is essential to se the protective mats provided to help prevent p nct ring the bag.
6. Do not over-inflate the bag. 90% capacity is ample.
Warning: Do not EVER allow yo r body to be nder a vehicle when it is s pported only by the
exha st jack.
Fitting & Care Instructions
1. Sec rely chock wheels on side of vehicle opposite to that being lifted.
2. Select a strong nderbody location free of sharp objects and clear of hot
exha st pipes and m fflers.
NOTE: By moving the position of the bag, one side of the vehicle can be
lifted.
Place exha st jack nder vehicle at the selected location, with one flat s rface
on the gro nd and the other ready to s pport the vehicle. Use the protective
mats on top and bottom.
3. Assemble the hose and lay it o t flat to remove any kinks.
4. Start engine and while idling, press the black cone firmly over the end of the
exha st pipe.
Partially inflate the bag, then check that the bag is positioned sq arely on the
vehicles nderbody.
5. Inflate the bag ntil the wheel is clear of the gro nd.
NOTE: If the bag does not inflate, check yo r exha st system for leaks.
6. To deflate, t rn the handle anti-clockwise and remove from connection.
Clean and repack into the container s pplied.
