Do not attempt to repair or alter the regulator/
valve for any “assumed” defect. Any modification 
to this assembly will void your warranty and create 
the risk of a gas leak and fire. Use only authorized 
replacement parts supplied by manufacturer. 
For Safe Use of Your Plancha and to Avoid 
Serious Injury:
• Do not let children operate or play near plancha.
• Keep plancha area clear and free from materials 
that burn (i.e. gasoline, propane, or any other 
flammable liquid or gas).
• Do not block holes in bottom or back of plancha.
• Check burner flames regularly.
• Never use regulator from this plancha with any 
other LP appliance.
• When cooking, the appliance must be on a level 
surface in an area clear of combustible material.
• Use plancha only in well-ventilated space. 
NEVER use in enclosed space such as carport, 
garage, porch, covered patio, or under an over-
head structure of any kind.
• This appliance is not intended for and should 
never be used as a heater.
• Use plancha at least 0,6 meter from any 
wall or surface. Maintain 3 meter clearance to 
objects that can catch fire or sources of ignition 
such as pilot lights on water heaters, live electri-
cal appliances, etc..
• Apartment Dwellers: Check with manage-
ment to learn the requirements and fire codes 
for using an LP gas plancha in your apartment 
complex. If allowed, use outside on the ground 
floor with a 0,6 meter clearance from walls or 
rails. Do not use on or under balconies.

• Turn off the gas supply at the gas cylinder after 
use.

WARNING CAUTION
• Never operate this appliance unattended.
• Never operate this appliance within 10ft (3m) 
of any structure, combustible material or other 
gas cylinder.
• Never operate this appliance within 25 ft (7.5 
m) of any flammable liquid.
• If a fire should occur, keep away from the appli-
ance and immediately call your fire department. 
Do not attempt to extinguish an oil or grease 
fire with water.
Failure to follow these instructions could result in 
fire, explosion or burn hazard, which could cause 
property damage, personal injury or death.
• For residential use only. Do not use for 
commercial cooking.
• Wear protective gloves when handling partic-
ularly hot components.
• Do not leave appliance unattended. Keep 
children and pets away from appliance at all 
times.
• Do not use water on a grease fire. Personal 
injury may result. If a grease fire develops, 
turn knobs OFF and remove LP cylinder.
• Do not leave plancha unattended while 
preheating or burning off food residue on HI. 
If plancha has not been regularly cleaned, a 
grease fire can occur that may damage the 
product.
Installation Safety Precautions
• Use plancha, as purchased, only with LP 
(propane/butane) gas and the regulator/valve 
assembly supplied.
• Plancha is not for use in or on recreational 
vehicles and/or boats. 
• Do not leave appliance unattended. Keep 
children and pets away from appliance at all 
times.
Hose Requirements
• Use only approved hose which is certified to 
appropriate EN standard and does not exceed 
1.5m length. For Finland, the hose length shall 
not exceed 1.2m. Before each use, check to 
see if hoses are cut or worn. Make sure hose 
is not kinked or twisted. Make sure that when 
connected hose does not touch any warm 
surfaces. Replace damaged hoses before 
using appliance. Replace hose as required by 
national requirements. Position the appliance 
so that the flexible tube is not subjected to 
twisting.
Cylinder Placement
• Cylinder cannot be placed under the appli-
ance. Cylinders are to be placed to the side 
and rear of the appliance. Cylinders are to be a 
maximum diameter of 345mm and maximum 
height of 600mm.
