WARNING: When using electrical appliances, especially
when children are present, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of re, electric shock,
and/or injury to persons, including the following:
1. This appliance is intended for indoor home use only.
2. Never use any accessories or parts from other manufactures.
Your warranty will become invalid if such accessories or parts
have been used.
3. Wash all removable parts with a mild cleanser before the rst use.
4. Check that your home power supply corresponds with
this appliance’s intended voltage.
5. Place this appliance on a stable, heat resistant surface.
Make sure not to place near or on a heat source such as gas
or electric burner or oven.
6. Short power cords are attached to this item to prevent
entanglement and tripping hazards. Extension cords with
corresponding voltage, electrical rating and grounding wires can
be used. Care should be taken so that any exposed cord is not
hanging down from a counter or table where it can be pulled on
or tripped over.
7. Before using this appliance, inspect the plug and cord
line for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If they are found DO NOT use
this appliance and contact our authorized customer service
representative.
8. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance during
use or storage as this can cause the wire to fray and break.
Do not plug or unplug the appliance with a damp or wet hand as
this can cause an electric shock.
9. Never plug the product into an electrical outlet unless it
is completely assembled and the lid is securely in place.
10. Before removing the lid, unplug the grinder. The grinder
has a blade which must stop completely.
11. During initial use, you may notice some smoke and/or a
slight odor. This is normal and should quickly dissipate.
It should not reoccur after the appliance has been used
a few more times.
12. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.

FEATURES INSTRUCTIONS USER MAINTENANCE
1. Always make sure the grinder is
unplugged from the electrical outlet
before cleaning.
2. It is best to clean this product
immediately after each use.
3. Wash the Lid in warm, soapy water,
rinse and dry completely.
4. Wipe the inside of the Hopper with
a soft damp cloth. Remember to dry
thoroughly.
5. Do not immerse the Electric Base in
water or any other type of liquid.
6. Do not use abrasive cleaners or
scouring pads to clean this grinder.
7. Do not oil or sharpen the Blade.
8. Store the grinder in a cool, dry place.

Before using your Chefman Coffee Grinder
for the first time, wipe all
parts with a damp cloth. Allow to dry
completely.
1. Pour the coffee beans into the
Hopper. Do not to overfill. The capacity
of this grinder is 3 oz (80g).
2. Securely attach the Lid onto the
Electric Base. Make sure the Lid is
attached in the correct position. The
On/Off Button will only function when
the lid is attached in the right position.
3. Insert the electrical plug into a
standard electrical outlet.
4. Press and hold the On/Off Button
to grind your beans.
5. Press the On/Off Button for
approximately 15 seconds. Time will vary
based on the quantity of beans and
personal coffee tastes. Do not press the
On/Off Button for more than a minute at
a time to avoid overheating.
6. Releasing the On/Off Button will
stop the beans from grinding. Always
stop the grinder completely before
emptying the grounds.
7. Pour the grounds into the filter of
your coffee maker.
8. Unplug the grinder when it is not
being used. (As a safety precaution it is
best to leave this device unplugged when
left unsupervised.)
