Manual Operation
STEP 1: Plug in and turn the mains power supply on.

STEP 2: Turn the on/off switch on the right hand side of the heater outlet to the “I” position.
STEP 3: Press the power button to turn on the appliance.
STEP 4: Press the “HEAT” button once to activate the low heat setting; press it again to activate the high setting, press it a third time to switch the heat
setting off.
STEP 5: To change the flame brightness, press the "FLAME" button to cycle through the brightness options. Turn off the LED flame effect by pressing
the "FLAME" button repeatedly until the flame effect cycles off.
STEP 6: Activate the standby mode by pressing the power button again.
STEP 7: Switch the fire off by turning the on/off switch on the right hand side of the heater to the “0” position.
Remote Control Operation
STEP 1: Switch on the appliance using the ON/OFF switch.
STEP 2: Press the power button on the remote control; the LCD display will illuminate.
STEP 3: Press “FLAME” button on the remote control to select the desired flame brightness; there are 3 different brightness levels available.
STEP 4: Select the desired heat output by pressing the relevant heat setting button:
To activate the low heat setting, press “HEAT I”; press it again to turn it off.
To activate the high heat setting, press “HEAT II”; press it again to turn it off.

AUTO Control Function
Press the "+" button on the remote control to increase the set temperature.
Press the "-" button to decrease the set temperature. The temperature can be set between 15-30°C.
Press "AUTO" to activate the automatic control function. The appliance will automatically activate / deactivate with the following functions:
If the room temperature is higher than the set temperature on the appliance, the heat will turn off.
If there is no operation for a few seconds, the remote control will show room temperature.
When AUTO mode is turned on, the HEAT I and HEAT II buttons are invalid.
Setting the Current Day and Time
The day and time can only be set using the remote control.
STEP 1: Press the "DATE TIME" button on the remote control, the day of the week will flash. Use the up and down buttons to set the day of the week.
Once the current day is set, press the "DATE TIME" button to confirm the current day.
STEP 2: The hour setting will then flash once the day has been selected. Use "+" or "-" to adjust the time until the current hour is selected. Press the
"DATE TIME" button to confirm the current hour.
STEP 3: Then the minute setting will flash once the hour has been set. Use "+" or "-" to adjust the time until the current minute is set correctly. Press the
"DATE TIME" button to confirm the current minute.

Setting the Heat Timer
Press the "TIMER SET" button on the remote control, the time cycle number will flash. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to cycle through the different timer
cycles from 1 to I0 and press the "TIMER SET" button to confirm. A small black triangle will flash below one day of the week, indicating that the day of
the week need to be determined.
Press the "CLEAR" button can cancel the set time conveniently.
Selecting the Day
STEP 1: Press the up or down buttons on the remote control to choose the set day between "SUN" to "SAT", the default day is "SUN". Press the "+"
button to confirm the set day. Press the "TIMER SET" button to confirm.
STEP 2: Repeat STEP 1 to add other days to the chosen timer cycle, or press the "-" button to delete the set day. Press the "TIMER SET" button to
confirm.
Set TIMER ON Time
The "ON" symbol will illuminate on the LCD display to indicate that the Timer ON will need to be set.
STEP 1: Press the "+" or "-" button to set the hour setting for Timer ON and press the "TIMER SET" button to confirm.
STEP 2: Press the "+" or "-" button to set the minute setting for Timer ON and press the "TIMER SET" button to confirm. The "ON" symbol with turn off
and the "OFF" symbol will illuminate.

Set TIMER OFF time
The "OFF" symbol will illuminate on the digital display to indicate that the Timer OFF will need to be set.
STEP 1: Press the "+" or "-" button to set the hour setting for Timer OFF and press the "TIMER SET" button to confirm.
STEP 2: Press the "+" or "-" button to set the minute setting for Timer OFF and press the "TIMER SET" button to confirm.
Setting The Desire Temperature
Once the Timer ON and OFF times have been set, the desired temperature will begin to flash on the digital display.
STEP 1: Press the “+” or “-” button to set the desired temperature between 15-30℃,PRESS “TIMER SET” BUTTON TO CONFIRM; the default
temperature is 20℃.
STEP 2: Press the “AUTO” button and the “TIMER ON/OFF” button to activate the heat timer.
Note: Repeat the above procedure to set more timer cycles if required.
Press both “AUTO” button and “TIMER ON / OFF” button to activate the Timer Heat function.
Window Monitor Mode

When this function is enabled, if the ambient temperature is lowered due to the opening of the doors or windows, indicator light on “HEAT” button on the
appliance will blink to remind the user to close the window / door.If there is no response, the system will automatically stop heating. Press the window
button once to active the window monitor.
Press it again to switch the window monitor off.

When using any electrical appliance,basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

⚫Cleaning and user maintenance should not be undertaken by
children without supervision.
⚫Always ensure that the heater is placed on a firm level
surface.Ensure that the heater is not positioned close to
curtains,furniture or any combustible materials as this could create a
when not in use or before cleaning.
⚫If the supply cord or appliance is damaged, stop using the
appliance immediately and seek advice from the manufacturer, its
service agent or a similarly qualified person.
⚫Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or let it
come into contact with any hot surfaces.
⚫The use of accessory attachments other than those supplied is not
recommended.
⚫Do not pull the plug out by the cord as this may damage the plug
and /or the cable.
⚫Do not use this product for anything other than its intended use.
⚫This appliance is for household use only.
⚫Do not carry the appliance by the power cord.
⚫Do not use any extension cord with this appliance.
⚫Do not use the appliance outdoors.
⚫This heater is not equipped with a device to control the room
temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are
occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own,
unless constant supervision is provided.

⚫Do NOT insert any object through any openings on the heater.
⚫Check the heater from time to time for accumulated dust.
⚫When not being used,please unplug the heater from the mains
socket.
⚫Keep the mains lead away from the hot body of the heater and
ensure that it is not pulled tight between the socket and the heater.
⚫Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool before moving it
from one location to another.
⚫WARNING!This products must be installed correctly,failure to do
so may cause damage to your product and /or your surroundings.
⚫Do not attempt to dismantle or repair any parts of the heater.This
should only be done by a qualified service agent.
⚫In the unlikely event the appliance develops a fault, stop using it
immediately and seek advice from the service department.

Don’t :
⚫Never leave children unsupervised in a room where the fire is ON
and unguarded.
⚫Never obstruct or cover the fan outlet or force items into fire
openings.
⚫Never install or use the fire anywhere where water is in use, i.e.
bathrooms,kitchens, shower rooms, and swimming pool etc.
⚫Never use aerosols or steam cleaners on or around the fire.
Note: When the fire is turned on for the first timer or when it has not been
used for some time, it may release a slight,harmless odour. This odour is a
normal occurrence caused by the initial heating of the internal heating
elements or dust, and will disappear with use.
SAFETY CUT-OUT SYSTEM

⚫Never route the mains supply cable under carpet etc.
⚫Never install the fire close to curtains or combustible materials.
⚫Never use the fire to dry clothes etc.
⚫Never sit or stand on the fire.
⚫Never cur the off the plug and hard wire into a fixed fused spur.
Note: Any new wiring required must be in accordance with local and
national codes and other applicable regulations in order to reduce the
risk of the fire,electric shock, or other injuries.
WARNING!
Please do not obstruct the air vents of the electric fire.
This appliance has a ‘self resetting’ safety cut out system.This will activate
if the air inlets or outlets are obstructed. If the electric fire is obstructed,it
will overheat. If the temperature exceeds 85℃,the heater element will cut
out, until a safe temperature is regained.
TROUBLE SHOOTING

Safety Cut-Out device:
To ensure against the potential hazard caused by blockage of the air outlet, this unit is equipped with an automatic over-temperature safety cut-out device.
When the device is activated the heater will not operate. If this occurs, the unit can be reset using the following procedure.
1. Turn off the fire off by pressing the on/off switch in the unit.
2. Unplug the power cord from the electrical mains supply socket and leave it disconnected for at least 10 minutes.
3. Ensure that the air vents are free from obstruction.
4. Plug the power cord back in to the mains socket.
5. Turn the fire back on.
6. If the fire fails to operate, check the fuse in the plug.
7. If the fuse in the plug is OK and the fire is still not functioning, contact a qualified service person.

CLEANING AND CARE
⚫Unplug the appliance and allow the unit to cool down completely before cleaning.
⚫There are no specific requirements for the care of this unit, other than general cleaning.
⚫Brushed stainless steel (silver)fires can be cleaned using a cloth and a propriety cleaner. Other features(non-silver)can be cleaned using a damp
cloth.
⚫If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a suitably qualified person.
⚫The area around the fire should be kept free from animal hair, lint and other extraneous material that may be drawn into the workings of the
appliance which could affect its performance.

APPLIANCE IN WATER

There are no internal user serviceable parts.
Check the regularly security of wall fixings as appropriate. Also check security of supply cable and connections.If the supply cable becomes damaged, it
must be replaces by a service agent or competent person,such as a qualified electrician.

Should the fuse require replacing, it must be replaced with a fuse rated at I3 Amp and approved to BSI362. In the event of the mains plug being removed
/ replaced for any reason,please note: IMPORTANT: The wires in the mains lead are colored in accordance with the following code:
Blue - Neutral
Brown - Live
Green / Yellow -Earth
As the colors of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the color markings identifying the terminals in your plug ,proceed
as follows.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked with an N or colored black .The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked with an L
or colored red.The green /yellow wire must be connected to the earth terminal which is marked with an E or with the earth symbol.
WARNING: Never connect live or neutral wires to the earth terminal of the plug.
NOTE:If a moulded plug is fitted and has to be removed take great care in disposing of the plug and severed cable, it must be destroyed to prevent
engaging into a socket.
Refer to Section 3.0 Appliance Data for fuse specification.Excluding fuses,use only genuine manufacturers space parts available from your supplier.
