PREPARATION
STEP 1- DIAGRAM 1:ASSEMBLE SPRING
Carefully remove and lay out all hardware and parts. During the assembly process whenever using screws or bolts (fastening devices),
check each with this hardware list, by letter and size identify by placing each fastening device on the diagram of the item which is
sketched actual size. Be sure to use the proper size specified in the assembly directions. Hardware Bag may contain extra fastening
devices. Check quantities and match to Hardware Bag and Carton Parts Lists. If a part is missing or broken contact Child Craft
Customer Service at 1-877-265-9046, FAX: [phone], http://www.childcraftindustries.com for a replacement part or instructional
literature. Before making this contact identify your crib. Model identification numbers are stamped on a label attached to the inside face
of End Mbottom rail. Include this information with your request for a part or literature for your crib. DO NOT SUBSTITUTE PARTS!

The side of the bottom rail with the threaded inserts will face the inside of the crib as shown. See ENLARGED VIEW. Hold End Min
upright position and hand thread (two or three turns) Pan Head Screws Iinto the top threaded insert. Place the screw head through
the large keyhole in Dand E(now attached to Stabilizing Bar S) and allow the Pan Head Screw Ito slide into the slot at the top of
the keyhole. Align the bottom threaded insert in End Mwith the bottom locator hole in Dand Eand thread Pan Head Screw Iinto
the threaded insert. Tighten Pan Head Screws Isecurely using a #2 Phillips screwdriver or a Flat Tipped screwdriver. Repeat this
procedure for attaching each End Plate Dand Eto Ends M. Make sure all (8) Pan Head Screws Iare tightened securely.

STEP 4 - DIAGRAM 4:ATTACH STABILIZING BARS TO ENDS
Lay the four parts on a soft surface (carpet) as shown. InsertAllenhead Bolt Fthrough the two top holes in Foot Post O& Pand into
the threaded inserts in the top rail of End Mand Top Dowel N. The groove on the underside of the Dowel Nfits on the top edge of
the top rail on End M. Hand threadAllenhead Bolts Finto the threaded inserts two or three turns and leave lose. Insert Allenhead
Bolts Finto the opening in the bottom rail, through the locator holes and hand thread into the threaded insert in Posts O& P. Once
all holes are properly aligned and Allenhead Bolts Fare partially threaded into their threaded inserts, tighten securely using Allen
Wrench J. Do not overtighten and cause the head of the Allenhead Bolts to dig into the wood. Follow the same procedure for the
assembly of both ends. After completion, one assembly will become a headboard and the other will be a footboard.

Position all four sides of the crib K, Land M, so the rectangular routings face the inside. Insert Allenhead Bolts Gthrough their locator holes in the End Assembly Posts O& Pand into their threaded inserts in Stationary Sides K& L. Leave loose and do not fully tighten at this time.
Insert Allenhead Bolts Hthrough their locator holes in the rectangular routings and into their threaded inserts in End Assembly Posts O& P. After all four sides have been aligned, tighten all Allenhead Bolts G& Hwith Allen
Wrench J.

each usage or assembly, inspect crib for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts or sharp edges. DO NOT use crib if
parts are missing or broken. Contact Child Craft at 1-877-265-9046 or http://www.childcraftindustries.com, for a replace-
ment part or instructional literature if needed. Include Model Identification Number with your request which you recorded on

OCLEANING INSTRUCTIONS FORYOUR BED: Mixtogether a mild solution ofgentledishwashingliquidand water,applyto
surfaceusing a soft cleanclothlightly dampened inthesolution. Rinse with clear wateragain using a softclean cloth, then dry
all surfaces thoroughly with a soft dry cloth. NO ABRASIVE CLEANERS, SCOURING PADS, STEEL WOOL, OR COARSE
RAGSSHOULDBEUSEDTOCLEANTHISFINEFURNITURE.
OSTORAGEAND USE OF YOUR BED: Aprinted plastic pouchisattachedtothecrib spring forthepermanent storage of the
assembly directions. After completing the assembly process you are advised to read and be aware of all WARNINGS, CAU-
TIONS,CLEANING,STORAGE,USEAND MAINTENANCE noticescontainedinthissetofdirectionsandprintedontheplastic
pouch located on the underneath side of the crib spring. You will then place the complete set of assembly directions into the
plasticpouchfor future referral. Wecautionyou not to placeexcesshardware in the plasticpouchas it could presentdangerto
a child if retrieved. When storing crib use CAUTION as extreme temperature or humidity changes could be harmful. Use
CAUTION whena vaporizer isin use, alwaysaim vapor streamaway from cribas well asaway from anywood furniture item.

CONVERT TO TODDLER BED
When use as a crib has been completed, you have the option to convert to a Toddler Bed for years of additional use in your child’s
room. Refer to Step 4 - Diagram 4. Remove Stationary Side Left Lor Stationary Side Right K. Install Crib Stretcher Qas shown
in Sketch A. Dowel on Stretcher Qlocates in bottom hole at bottom of Posts O& P, then secure withAllenhead Bolts H. Spring

Rmust be installed in lowest position. Store the removed parts and hardware in the event you wish to convert your Toddler Bed

NOTE: When using as a Toddler Bed the
mattress must have minimum dimensions
of 51-5/8 in. (1310mm) in length and 27-1/4
in. (690mm) in width and 4 in. (100mm) in
thickness but not to excees 6 in.
It is very important that the Stretcher QQ
