Product instruction
D01M analyzes TTL RS232 SBUS CAN signals for the joystick data of Chinowing
technology company remote control series. D01 is mainly designed for the sharing
of different application protocol requirements. D01 is divided into D01G and
D01M encoding and decoding. D01G is integrates in T30 T31 T40. D01M is used
for wireless transmission with V21 series or third party network video transmission.

D01G signal output setting
When using T40N,T31N,T30N and other types,D01G is integrated
inside ,and the signal is output from the aviation plug 6 pin. If you use a
third-party link, you can select the corresponding signal output in the assistant

software to use BSUS or serial port signal according to your needs.If you use a
serial port, confirm the type of the link serial port,which provides TTL and
RS232 level signal outputs, and also select the corresponding signal output in
the assistant software.
If you are using Chinowing series, you can ignore this setting,and it has
been configured to work normally before leaving the factory.
●Note that when switching the signal output, confirm the level type of your
device,switch the signal type first and then insert the signal line,such as TTL
equipment switching RS232 type may cause the TTL end to burn out due to the large
level difference.
● T40N T31N T30N and other D01G level output is off by default.

D01G output line sequence description
In order to meet the various needs of users, the external output of 3 kinds
of signals shares a serial port,T40N,T31N,T30N and other ground control
stations,and the aviation socket 6pin distinguishes the line sequence when
different signals are output,as follows:

Pins4.5 and 6 are RS232 transparent serial ports,corresponding to COM6
ports of ground stations such as T30N,T31N and T30N

Serial signal input
The D01M input only supports one level signal,TTL or RS232,and the level type
needs to be noted when purchasing, the corresponding level signal should be
selected according to the level type of the third-party link.
After the D01M is powered on, there is no signal input, and the LED is in the state of
running water light. When the signal output is turned on, the corresponding signal
LED is always on.
Signal output setting
The remote control assistant software“HZYT31”version number is “V1.3.2”.Turn
on the remote control and open the dedicated software HZY.Click “Channel
configuration”,if your version is without links , there will be “custom options”as
shown in the figure below.

Custom CAN protocol
If you use the CAN protocol output,you need to open the CAN output,as
shown below:
The baud rate supports 50K-1M ，and the transmission frequency can be
customized and filled in according to your needs. Add custom data and
click”+”after sending , as shown in the figure below:
Every time you click “+”,a custom data setting box will popup,and the
custom data includes”standard identifier”and “extended
identifier”.Identifier type:There are standard identifiers and extended
identifiers. Data type:There are two types of data frame and remote frame,and

the operation protocol can be customized according to the requirements. Data
length each frame of data is 8 bits,click the “set button”,as shown below：
After opening the settings, a configuration box will popup.Each frame of
data is 8 bits,and each bit is divided into two types:linear and nonlinear.Linear
data refers to:Joystick,wave wheel,knob.Each linear channel occupies one
bit,and the linear physical channel and phase can be mapped
arbitrarily.Contains all physical buttons, each 1 bit has 8 bytes,then there are 8
physical buttons, all buttons can be mapped arbitrarily and phase inversion.

All configurations need to be written after modification,otherwise it will not
take effect.
Only when the link is established and D01M is in the normal connection state can
the written data be valid.
All linear channel output values are -127 to 127,and the median output is
0.When the data is selected as NONE, the output can be customized to output a
fixed value.As shown below:

When configuring the data channel，it
Can only be written and saved normally when the link and D01M are working
normally.You can click refresh in the custom CAN protocol data，and the CAN
protocol data written to D01M last time will be read after refreshing.As shown
below.
Custom serial port protocol
After the serial port data output is enabled ,corresponding to the TTL and RS232
port output of D01M, these two serial ports only do data output, not data
input.Open the serial port output as shown below:

Channel data range -10000 to 10000,you can customize the allocation
range,as shown below
The frame header and frame trailer of the data frame are also custom
settings,and are output in hexadecimal format.Sending frequency:range10-200
default20,precision 5ms；
The data format supports two types of “大端” and “小端”,and the check mode
supports four types:Sum check,XOR check CRC16 check,and CRC32 check.

Physical channel setting, according to different ground station products,the
upper computer automatically recognizes the physical channels such as:T40 20
physical channels, T31 35 physical channels,T30 23 physical channels,all can be
customized mapping, and phase inversion.
SBUS output setting
SBUS output setting,two-way output switch,turn on to output SBUS
in”comprehensive settings”-”Output settings,and turn it off to not output.

Firmware upgrade
Click the official website and download firmware，select the appropriate version
and save it to the local.
1、Open the Bootloader to upgrade the software.
2. Press and hold the set button to power on, at this time, all the LED lights of
D01M are always on, and then release the set button,the upgrade software will
display the port number and firmware information,which means it has entered the
upgrade mode.
3.After the version is read out, open the firmware that needs to be
upgraded.
4. Click start and wait for the prompt to complete the upgrade.

Common question
1 ： The ground unit can not link with the airborne unit,or the
connection is disconnected.
There will be interference if two or more devices are turned on at the same
time,and the key and frequency band can be modified;
2：Unable to pull streaming video in the video player
Please confirm whether the IP address of the receiver computer is in the same
network segment as the IP camera.
3：After the computer is connected to the ground unit LAN,the TCP
server serial port IP can not be obtained.
Please confirm whether the local IP address is in the same network segment as the
E11 serial port.
4：The serial port can not be connected to communication
a. Pay attention to whether the baud rates at ground and airborne unit are
the same
b. Note that the serial port level signal is divided into three types when
using,and the corresponding level signal is required
c. How to use TCP client you need to set corresponding TCP server address
and the port number of it.
