1. Overview
The Chroma-Q®4PlayTM 4WayDMX Buffer is a fault tolerant, self-healing DMX
buffer designed to isolate 4 XLR-5 outputs from the DMX input, through and
each other.
2. Operation
1. Connect power through a male IEC chassis connector with input power of
100-240V, 50-60 Hz.
2. Connect input data ANSI E1.11 USITT DMX 512-A from an external
source or lighting control console through a male XLR-5. A pass-through
connection is available on the female XLR-5.
3. Connect output data ANSI E1.11 USITT DMX 512-A through 4 female
XLR-5. The individual outputs are protected, self-healing, boosted from
the original DMX signal and fully isolated from each other, the DMX input
and through connections.

5. Installation
The Chroma-Q®4PlayTM is designed to be screwed onto the set or hung from
the truss. The L-shaped bracket has multiple fixing slots to accept standard
hook clamps or half couplers.
