HOW TO PAIR156X/166XBLUETOOTHSCANNERSTO IPODS /IPHONES&IPADS
Please follow belowinstructions to establish a connection with your Apple device.
Step1:Scanbelowbarcodesinnumberorder.Pleaseinsureyouhearthescannerbeepeachtime
youscan.Whenscanningkeepatleast3inchesofgapbetweenthescannerandthebarcodes.

Step 2:OnyourAppledevicego toSettings/General/Bluetooth.
a) YourAppledevicewillstartsearchingforthescanner;atthispointinsurethescanneris
awakebypressingitstriggerandnoticingtheredlightappear.
c) Scanner’s serial number will appear in the Bluetooth Devices list on your Apple device.
Step3:Pairingthescanner.
a) Continued from point C above, tap the scanner’s serial number fromtheDeviceslist.

c) Forthisexampleyoumustscanbarcodesbelow,EnterPINCodeInDecimal,0950(4
Barcodes)andvalidate.
d) If youmakeamistaketaptheserialnumber under Bluetoothdevices againto start overand
assignanewPINcode.
e) WhensuccessfulopenNotesonyourAppledevice andtestbyscanning arandomretail
barcode such as a tissue box, a Coke can etc…
SwitchtheBluetoothONbyslidingtheBluetoothbuttonto theright (seeimage below).
TheAppledevicewillpromptyou with aPINcodeandthe prompt willlast approximately30
seconds, enough time for you to scan the PIN code, see sample image below…
