1. Lieferumfang
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur, nachdem es korrekt installiert wurde und wenn
es sich in technisch einwandfreiem Zustand befindet.
• Nehmen Sie am Gerät oder an den Elektroleitungen keine technischen
Änderungen vor.
• Das Gerät ist nur für den Hausgebrauch und ähnliche Zwecke innerhalb
geschlossener Räume geeignet.
• Die auf dem Typenschild angegebenen Werte müssen eingehalten werden.
• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 3Jahren und darüber sowie von
Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn
sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unter-
wiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder
dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dürfen
nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.
Lesen Sie diese Hinweise sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie das Gerät installieren oder benutzen! Bewahren Sie diese Hinweise für
spätere Verwendung zusammen mit dem Gerät auf!
Montageanleitungen richten sich an den Fachmann, der für die Installation des Gerätes verantwortlich ist. Gebrauchsanleitungen
sind für den Endanwender bestimmt. Die dem Gerät beigefügten Anleitungen entsprechen dem technischen Stand des Gerätes.

3. Gerätebeschreibung
4. Installation
Die digitale Temperaturkontrolle für Zip-Geräte (Art.Nr.: 893159) dient dazu,
die Temperatur im Unterschrank unter 35°C zu halten, wenn die normale
Schrankbelüftung dazu nicht mehr ausreicht.
Die Temperaturkontrolle arbeitet unabhängig vom Zip-Gerät und benötigt eine separat
abgesicherte 230V Steckdose.
Die Temperaturkontrolle ist werkseitig auf einen Abschaltpunkt von 33°C und einen
Einschaltpunkt von 34°C voreingestellt. Sie können den Abschaltpunkt frei wählen, die
Differenz zwischen Ab- und Einschaltpunkt ist jedoch immer auf 1°C festgelegt.
Auf dem digitalen Display wird die aktuell gemessene Temperatur in °C angezeigt.

Zu beachten sind:
• Technische Daten und Angaben auf Typenschild
• Die ausschließliche Verwendung von geeignetem und unbeschädigtem
Werkzeug
• Lufteinlass und Luftauslass sollten an entgegengesetzten Seiten des Unter-
schrankes positioniert werden, um eine bestmögliche Belüftung zu gewährleis-
ten
• Kontrolleinheit und Doppellüfter müssen in der oberen »warmen« Hälfte des
Unterschrankes installiert werden, da sonst die Funktion beeinträchtigt wird
Montage
1. Befestigen Sie die Kontrolleinheit möglichst weit oben in dem Unterschrank, in dem
das Zip-Gerät installiert ist. Die Installation ist an der Schrankoberseite oder der
Seitenwand möglich.
Achten Sie darauf, dass eine Steckdose in Reichweite des Anschlusskabels
liegt (max. 130 cm).
2. Wenn noch keine Lufteinlassgitter bei der Aufstellung Ihres Zip-Gerätes ins-
talliert wurden, sägen Sie bitte einen Ausschnitt»B« für ein Lufteinlassgitter
im Schrankboden oder einen Ausschnitt»A« für ein Lufteinlassgitter in der
Schrankseitenwand / -tür, gemäß Zeichnung und installieren Sie bitte das gewählte
Lufteinlassgitter.
3. Sägen Sie den Ausschnitt »A« für den Doppellüfter gemäß Zeichnung an der vorge-
sehenen Position.
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Anschlusskabel des Lüfters bis an die Kontrolleinheit
reicht (max. 145cm).
4. Biegen Sie die Befestigungslaschen des Doppellüfters um 90° nach innen (siehe
unten), damit der Lüfter von der Schrankaussenseite in den Ausschnitt geschoben
werden kann. Achten Sie beim Einschieben auf das Anschlusskabel.
5. Wenn Sie den Doppellüfter im Ausschnitt positioniert haben, biegen Sie die
Befestigungslaschen wieder zurück in Ihre Ausgangsposition und befestigen Sie den
Lüfter mit vier Schrauben.
6. Verbinden Sie den Doppellüfter über das Anschlusskabel mit der Kontrolleinheit.
7. Stecken Sie den Stecker der Kontrolleinheit in eine 230V Steckdose.

1. Drücken Sie die SET Taste (1) um in die Einstellansicht zu wechseln und den aktuel-
len Abschaltpunkt anzuzeigen.
2. Stellen Sie mit den Tasten und die gewünschte neue Temperatur ein.
3. Drücken Sie die SET Taste (1) erneut um die Einstellungen zu Speichern.
Beispiel: Wenn Sie den Abschaltpunkt auf 35°C erhöhen, schaltet der Lüfter bei 36°C
ein und bei 35°C wieder aus.
Hinweis: Eine Einstellung unter 30 °C wird nicht empfohlen, da dies zu sehr lan-
gen Lüfterbetriebszeiten führen kann.
6. Umwelt und Recycling
Dieses Produkt wurde klimaneutral nach Scope 1 + 2 hergestellt. Wir empfehlen den
Bezug von 100%igem Ökostrom, um den Betrieb ebenfalls klimaneutral zu gestalten.
Entsorgung von Transport- und Verpackungsmaterial: Für einen reibungslosen
Transport ist Ihr Produkt sorgfältig verpackt. Die Entsorgung des Transportmaterials
erfolgt über den Fachhandwerker oder den Fachhandel. Führen Sie die
Verkaufsverpackung nach Materialien getrennt über eines der dualen Systeme
Deutschlands in den Wertstoffkreislauf zurück.
Entsorgung von Altgeräten: Ihr Produkt wurde aus hochwertigen, wiederver-
wendbaren Materialien und Komponenten hergestellt. Die mit dem Symbol der
durchgestrichenen Mülltonne gekennzeichneten Produkte müssen am Ende ihrer
Lebensdauer getrennt vom Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Bringen Sie dieses Gerät
daher zu uns als Hersteller oder zu einer der kommunalen Sammelstellen, die
gebrauchte Elektronikgeräte wieder dem Wertstoffkreislauf zuführen. Diese ord-
nungsgemäße Entsorgung dient dem Umweltschutz und verhindert mögliche schäd-
liche Auswirkungen auf Mensch und Umwelt, die sich aus einer unsachgemäßen
Handhabung der Geräte am Ende ihrer Lebensdauer ergeben könnten. Genauere

• Do not use the appliance until it has been correctly installed and unless it is
in perfect working order.
• Never make technical modifications, either to the appliance itself or the
electrical leads.
• The appliance is only suitable for domestic use and similar applications
inside closed rooms
• The values stated on the rating plate must be observed.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 3years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concern-
ing use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be performed by children without supervision.
Please read these instructions carefully before installing or using the appliance! Keep the instructions handy with the appli-
ance for future use!

The digital temperature controller for Zip devices (Art. no.: 893159) is used when cup-
board temperatures are likely to exceed 30°C and normal cupboard ventilation is not
available.
The digital controller operates independently of the undersink unit and will require a
separate 230V GPO.
The controller is factory set to turn OFF at 33°C and ON at 34°C (recommended set-
tings).
The differential between ON and OFF is locked at 1°C however the set temp is user
adjustable.
The current measured temperature is shown on the digital display in °C.

4. Installation
The following regulations must be observed:
• The rating plate and technical specifications
• Only intact and appropriate tools must be used
• Air inlet and the air outlet must be positioned at opposite ends of the same
cupboard to ensure the best possible ventilation
• It is important that controller and dual-fan are located in the warmest part (i.e.
upper half), of the same cupboard, where the undersink unit is located
Mounting the appliance
1. Attach the control unit as high as possible in the cupboard in which the Zip-device is
installed. The installation is possible on top of the cabinet or the sidewall.
Ensure that an electrical outlet is within reach of the connecting cable
(max.130 cm).
2. If no air inlet is installed saw a cutout “A” for the inlet grille (sidewall / door) or a
cutout “B” for the inlet grille (cup board floor) according to the drawing, cover it with
the selected air inlet grille and secure it with screws.
3. For the dual-fan saw the cutout “A” according to the drawing at the intended posi-
tion.
Ensure that the connecting cable of the dual-fan can reach the control unit
(max.145 cm).
4. Turn the brackets by 90° to the inside (see below), to allow the fan can be pushed
into the cutout “A” from the outside. Pay attention to the connecting cable of the fan,
when inserting the fan through the cutout.
5. After inserting the fan assembly, bend the brackets back through 90° to their origi-
nal position and secure the fan assembly with 4 screws.
6. Connect the dual-fan to the control unit via the connecting cable.
7. Plug the plug of the control unit into a 230V outlet.

1. Press the SET button (1) once to change in the setting screen and view the current
set point
2. Use the keys and to adjust the desired set point.
3. Press the SET button (1) again to confirm the new set point and to return to normal
screen.
EG: If the set temperature is changed to 35°C then the fan will switch ON at 36°C and
OFF at 35°C.
Note: Lowering the set point could result in the fan not turning OFF, therefore
lowering the set point below the factory setting of 30°C, is not recommended

This product was manufactured climate neutrally according to Scope 1 + 2. We recom-
mend the purchase of 100% green electricity to make the operation climate neutral as
well.
Disposal of transport and packaging material: For smooth transport your product is
carefully packed. The disposal of the transport material is carried out by the specialist
tradesman or the specialist trade. Separate the sales packaging according to materials
separated according to materials via one of the dual systems in Germany.
Disposal of old products: Your product was manufactured from high-quality, reusable
materials and components. Products marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol
must be disposed of separately from household waste at the end of their service life.
Therefore, take this product to us as the manufacturer or to one of the municipal collec-
tion points that recycle used electronic devices. This proper disposal serves to protect
the environment and prevents possible harmful effects on humans and the environ-
ment that could result from improper handling of the products at the end of their ser-

tion point or recycling centre or your local council.
