Yearly maintenance:
- Check the pump housing and the chords for damage.
- Remove stubborn dirt.
- Rinse the inside of the pump by placing it in a con-
tainer filled with clear water and turn it on briefly.
(Only with model SCWP 10013)
- Rinse the pump with clear water.
If the water pump does not work properly, contact a
dealer or our customer service. The contact details can
be found in chapter 1.2 Customer Service.
All protection and safety equipment must be reinstalled
immediately after completion of repair and maintenance
work.
Regular maintenance and careful care reduce the risk of
possible malfunctions and help extend the life of your
device.
12 Disposal, recycling of used devices
Please take care in your own interest and in the interest
of the environment that all component parts of the ma-
chine are only disposed of in the intended and permit-
ted way.
12.1 Decommissioning
Immediately decommission disused machines in order
to avoid later misuse and endangering of the environ-
ment or personal safety.
- Eliminate all environmentally hazardous operating
materials from the used device.
- If required, disassemble the machine into easy-to-
handle and usable components and parts.
- Dispose of machine components and operating
materials by the disposal channels provided.
12.2 Waste disposal of electric equipment
Please note that electrical devices contain a variety of
recyclable materials as well as environmentally harmful
components.
Please help to ensure that these components are sepa-
rated and disposed of properly. In case of doubt, please
contact your local waste disposal service.
If necessary, use the services of a specialized waste
disposal company for processing.
12.3 Disposal via municipal collection points
Disposal of used electrical and electronic equipment
(Applicable in the countries of the European Union and
other European countries with a separate collection sy-
stem for this equipment).
The symbol on the product or its packaging
indicates that this product should not be
treated as normal household waste, but
should be handed in at a collection point for
the recycling of electrical and electronic
equipment. By helping to dispose of this product cor-
rectly, you will help protect the environment and the
health of those around you. The environment and health
are endangered by incorrect disposal. Material recy-
cling helps to reduce the consumption of raw materials.
For more information about recycling this product, con-
tact your local authority, municipal waste disposal ser-
vice or the shop where you purchased the product.
12.4 Disposal of lubricants
Please pay attention to an environmentally friendly dis-
posal of the used coolants and lubricants.
Observe the disposal instructions of your municipal dis-
posal companies.
Disposal notes for used lubricants are available from the
manufacturer of the lubricants. If necessary, request the
product-specific data sheets.
13 Disturbances, possible causes and
measures
ATTENTION!
If one of the following errors occurs, immediately
stop working with the water pump.
Before you begin troubleshooting, turn off the water
pump and unplug the power cord. Otherwise it
could lead to serious injuries.
All repairs or replacement work may only be carried
out by qualified and trained specialist personnel.
NOTE!
If you can not solve the problems with your water
pump yourself, then please contact your nearest
CLEANCRAFT dealer. Please write down the follow-
ing information from the water pump or the operating
instructions in advance to help you with your problem
in the best possible way.
