Thank you for purchasing the Clever Little Box IA235 Compact Stereo
Amplifier. In order to ensure optimum performance and reliability,
please carefully read and carry out these simple User Instructions.

Connecting the Audio Source:
Connect the audio source (line signal) such as CD / MP3 player, Bluetooth receiver
(Part No. AVB5), laptop, etc to the IA235 Amplifier via Input 1 (3.5mm jack on front
panel) or Inputs 2 or 3on the rear panel (stereo phonos).
Ensure that the left and right channels are connected correctly. The right
channel is usually marked red, the left channel black or white.

Connecting Loudspeakers:
We recommend a maximum loudspeaker load of 35W per channel for use with the
IA235.
Connect the loudspeakers to the terminals on the rear of the amplifier using
loudspeaker cable terminated with either banana plugs, spade connectors or bare
wires.
Do not present a load lower than 4 Wper channel.
Ensure that the polarity of the loudspeaker connections is the same at both ends
of the cable. Red terminals carry the positive signal (+), black connections carry
the negative signal (-).
Connecting the Mains Power:
The unit is supplied with an in-line mains to DC power supply.
Connect the DC plug from the power supply to the 22v In socket on the rear of the
amplifier before connecting the power supply to the mains. Then press the Power
button on the front of the amplifier to turn the unit on.
Choosing the Audio Source:
To choose between any of the three Audio Source Inputs, use the Input source
switch on the front panel. 1 = Jack (Front Panel)
2 = Stereo Phono (Rear Panel)
3 = Stereo Phono (Rear Panel)
