Thank you for purchasing your ODHW10 headset. We are sure you will
enjoy its wide range of features, and find the headset comfortable to wear
and easy to use.
1. Charging the battery
1.1 Plug the power adapter into the power adapter jack on the base.
1.2 Connect the power adapter to the mains power socket.
1.3 Place the headset into the base.
1.4 The battery charging indicator flashes when charging and will light when
the battery is full charged.
1.5 Charge the headset for at least 20 minutes before using it. It takes
less than 1.5 hours for full charging, providing up to 8 hours of talk time.
Note: When not in use, place headset in base to charge. If the battery charge
is too low, a discontinuous beep will be heard in the headset.
2.Setting up
Before using ODHW10, you must pair the headset to the base station of
your DECT telephone.
2.1 Before pairing, please read the instruction of how to pair a new DECT
headset in the user guide of your DECT telephone.
2.2 Switch on and off the headset: Press multi-function button to turn on the
headset. Press and hold multi-function button to turn off the headset.
2.3 Switch the ODHW10 to pairing mode: press and hold mute button for
about 2 seconds until the indicator on the headset starts flashing quickly.
2.4 When the headset is successfully paired with DECT telephone, the
indicator on the headset flashes slowly.
2.5 If the pairing is unsuccessful, please turn off the headset and turn it on
again then repeat step 2.3.
Important note: Please bear in mind, to use the ODHW10, your DECT telephone
must conform to GAP standard (Generic Access Profile) which most modern
DECT conforms to.
If you are not sure whether your unit conforms to GAP standard, please
refer to the user guide for your DECT telephone.
Answering and ending calls
3.1 Incoming calls are indicated to you by a signal in the headset. Calls can
be answered by pressing the multifunction button once. To end a telephone
call, press the multifunction button on the headset once more.
Setting the headset/receiver volume
3.2 Make a telephone call and ask the person you are calling to assist you
3.3 Adjust the volume of received sound by pressing the + or - button.
This setting is now stored. When volume reaches max or min, you will hear
a beep in headset.
Muting the headset microphone
3.4 To achieve the mute function, press the mute button once. During mute
mode, a beep will be heard every 5 seconds. To deactivate the mute function,
press the mute button twice.
