I. INTRODUCTION
The Model 4010 12 Volt Electric Dump Kit is desi ned for use with Country Manufacturin
Trailers with a dumpin capacity of 2000 + lbs. NOTE: a Step by Step Video is available at

CAUTION
THIS 12 VOLT ELECTRIC DUMP KIT WILL NOT FIT ON WAGONS WITH A
STEERABLE FRONT END! WE RECOMMEND USING AN ALTERNATE 12 VOLT
POWER SOURCE RATHER THAN ATTACHING DIRECTLY TO YOUR ATV/UTV'S
BATTERY. DUE TO THE DISTANCE THAT THE WINCH ON THE TRAILER IS FROM
YOUR TOW VEHICLES BATTERY, VOLTAGE DROP DUE TO HIGH AMPERAGE DRAW
CAUSES HEAT IN THE CABLES. IF THE CABLES PROVIDED WITH THE WINCH
REACH YOUR BATTERY, YOU SHOULD BE FINE. IF EXTENTIONS ARE NECESSARY,
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND ATTACHING TO YOUR TOW VEHICLES BATTERY. DOING
SO COULD CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR VEHICLES ELECTRICAL SYSTEM!
II. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (Refer to Photos)
4 ft x 7 ft BEDS MANUFACTURED PRIOR TO SEPTEMBER 2020 will require drillin 4
holes in the bed frame to bolt the upper lift bracket (Trailers manufactured after Sept 2020 holes
are drilled at the factory and the upper lift bracket is pre-installed if ordered with your trailer). It
is easiest to install the unit with the bed removed from the chassis and the center wood boards
removed from the bed of the trailer.

Install the upper lift bracket usin 4 each 3/8 x 1 ¼ inch lon bolts, nuts and washers. The upper
pivot pin hole must have the shortest span toward the front of the trailer bed. The photo shown
below shows the front of the trailer bed to the ri ht side.-----

Install winch mount to the ton ue usin 2 each 3/8 x 3 inch bolts, nuts and lockwashers. On
trailers without pre-drilled holes, the mount should be attached to the ton ue 16 inches from the
front of the chassis. The winch CANNOT sit under the bed of the trailer.
Install the lower brackets usin 4 each 5/16 x 1 ¼ inch and 1 each 4 inch pivot pin. The rear of
the lower lift arms has a welded end cap as shown in the photo below and must face the REAR of
the trailer.

Install the bed of the trailer onto the chassis and secure the pivot pin allowin the bed to hin e up
and down on the chassis. Install the upper lift arms into the upper lift bracket usin the 3 inch
pivot pin. Install the washer and cotter pin to hold the pivot pin in place.
Pull the winch cable throu h the openin in the front of the liftin arms to the back of the liftin
arms. Install the pulley on the rear liftin arm with the cable threadin from the bottom of the
pulley to the top. Install 1 short pivot pin to secure the pulley to the arms. Pull the cable eyelet to
the front liftin arms and secure with the second pivot pin. Install the washers and cotter pins on
the pivot pins.

Photo shows pivot pins without washers at this point. Remove the cotter pins and install washers
before installin cotter pins permanently. NOTE: CABLE ROUTING IS CRITICAL FOR
CORRECT OPERATION! These 2 photos show the correct cable routin .

Install the wood on the bed and you are ready to use the electric dump!

MAINTENANCE
1. Lubricate the pivot pins and winch cable with a quality rease and cable lubricant
2. If you are providin your own winch, a 3000 lb pullin capacity is needed to raise 2000 lb
payloads.
3. Winches are water-resistant, but NOT water-proof. Cover the winch to protect it from the
weather when not in use.
WARRANTY POLICY
Country Manufacturin , Inc. will, at its option, replace or repair, without char e to the ori inal
purchaser any part or parts manufactured by it and found upon examination to be DEFECTIVE
IN MATERIAL AND/OR WORKMANSHIP if received for such examination within 90 days
from date or ori inal purchase.
Dama e resultin from accident, abuse, or ne lect are conditions under which warranty cannot be
claimed. Nor will warranty apply to dama e resultin from failure to follow the Manufacturer’s
instruction for operation and maintenance nor from the improper selection of a particular
application.
All transportation char es on, and dama es and loss incurred in connection with the
transportation of, parts submitted for replacement or repair under the WARRANTY shall be
borne by the purchaser.
No other warranties, uarantees, or liabilities, either implied or expressed, will be the
