Coby CR-A68 - Dual Alarm Clock Radio User manual

POWER SUPPLY:
CR-A68 operates on AC 110V/60Hz or
AC 220V/50Hz household mains supply.
Before connecting to the power supply,
ensure that the rated voltage of this unit
matches your local voltage. And slide the
switch inside the battery compartment to
choose 220V/50Hz or 110V/60Hz correctly.
Warning: Disconnect the mains plug from the supply socket when it is not in use. To avoid
the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover of the apparatus. To prevent fire or
shock hazard, do not expose the apparatus to rain or moisture.
RADIO OPERATION:
1. To turn radio on, slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "ON" position.
2. Select AM or FM from AM/FM switch.
3. Adjust the volume control to the desired volume level.
4. Turn the tuning control to the desired radio station.
5. To turn radio off, slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "OFF" position.
CLOCK SETTING
While holding the TIME/ALARM OFF/SLEEP OFF button, press
TIME FAST SET or TIME SLOW SET button until the desired time
is displayed. Then release both buttons.
WAKE TO RADIO OR BUZZER
1. Select the desired radio station and volume level.
2. To set the first alarm, slide the ALARM SELECTOR to AL.1. Press
TIME FAST SET or TIME SLOW SET while holding the ALARM button
to set the desired wake-up time.
3. To set the second alarm, slide the ALARM SELECTOR to AL.2. Press
TIME FAST SET or TIME SLOW SET while holding the ALARM button
to set the desired wake-up time.
4. The ALARM SELECTOR should be set as required. For example, if both
alarms are needed, set the selector to AL. 1&2. Otherwise, set to either
AL. 1 or AL. 2. as appropriate.
5. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "AUTO" position. The alarm indicator(s)
will be lit up. And the radio will be turned on to wake you up at the preset time.
6. To wake to buzzer, turn the VOLUME/BUZZER. CONTROL to "BUZZER" position.
7. To turn alarm off, press the TIME/ALARM OFF/SLEEP OFF button once.
To cancel alarm, slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "OFF" position.
SLEEP TO RADIO
1. Select the desired radio station and volume level.
2. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "AUTO" or "OFF" position.
3. Press SLEEP/RADIO ON button and clock display will show 59 minutes
as default sleep period.
4. The sleep period can be reduced as desired by pressing the TIME FAST SET
or TIME SLOW SET button.
5. Radio will be on for the desired period.
6. Radio can be turned on again by pressing the SLEEP/RADIO ON button.
7. To turn radio off before the preset time is out, just simply press the
TIME/ALARM OFF/SLEEP OFF button
SLEEP AND WAKE TO RADIO
1. Select your desired radio station and volume level.
2. Slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "AUTO" position.
3. Set the desired wake-up time and sleep period as described above.
4. Radio will be turned on at the preset wake-up time, and keep playing
before the preset sleep period is out.

to be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use for 90 DAYS from the
date of original purchase. COBY agrees under this warranty, to repair or replace it with a
new or reconditioned product at no additional charge. Our warranty does not cover any
product which has been subject to neglect, unreasonable use, accident, violation of operating
instruction or any product that has been repaired or modified by an unauthorized service
agent. To obtain factory service, return this unit freight-prepaid to the address shown below
within the duration of this warranty. Enclose $6.00 for each item in the form of money order
made payable to COBY ELECTRONICS CORP. to cover the cost of shipping and handing.
Also, include a copy of the sales receipt to show proof of purchase and a detailed description
of the problem. The unit(s) must be packaged in such a way as to reasonably protect it from

COBY's liability under any legal theory for any loss damage in any way related to this
product shall not exceed the sales price of this product. In no event shall COBY be liable for

use this product. Repair or replacement as provided under this warranty is the exclusive right
of the consumer.
Except to the extent prohibited by law, no express or implied warranty of merchant ability or
fitness for a particular purpose on this product shall be extended beyond the period of this
warranty. Some states prohibit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so that the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives
you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.

2. To cancel the snooze operation, slide the FUNCTION SWITCH to "OFF" position.
This operation cycle will be repeated up to five times within an hour, and then
automatically release the wake up function.
