Coin Changer
Specifications
1) Removepowerfromthevendor.
2) Removetheacceptorfromthe coin changer by
releasingtheacceptor latchesandpulling thetopof
theacceptor forward,awayfromthechanger.Unplug
theribboncable from changer.Withtheacceptor
removed,setthekeyholes intheback ofthechanger
housingoverthemounting screws inthevendor.
Tightensnugly.
3) Setthechangeroption switches (see"SettingtheVend
PriceandOptionSwitches").
4) Replacetheacceptorbyinserting bottomaccepted
studsintothe changerhousingguides. Plugtheribbon
cableintothechanger.Presstopofacceptorinto
changerhousinguntiltheacceptorstudslockintothe
acceptorlatches.
5) Plugthecoinchangerintothe vendor.
6) Loadthecointubes, makingsureallcoinslie flat.
7) Testwithavarietyofcoinstoensureproperoperation.

TheOptionSwitch Module (seeFigure1)is composedof
threerockerswitches. These switchesareONwhen the
topoftheswitchispushedin.Theseswitchescorrespond
asfollows:
Switch 1 ControlstheacceptanceofCanadiancoins.
ON AcceptsU.S.andCanadiancoins.
OFF AcceptsU.S.coinsonly.
Switch 2 Determines at what coin tube level accepted quarters
will be directed to the cash box.
ON Activates the middle coin tube sensor.
OFF Activates the upper coin tube sensor.
Switch 3 ControlstheacceptanceoftheCanadian$2coin.
ON AcceptstheCanadian $2 coin.
OFF RejectstheCanadian $2coin.
