The Elite Pro Touch controller has two modes. The thermostat mode is the default setting
which allows you to set the times you want the heating to be on and what temperature to
heat the site to
1. Thermostat
2. Time clock
The thermostat mode is the default setting.
Change between thermostat mode and time clock modes:
• Press and hold the POWER key for three seconds
• Press and hold the SETUP key for 10 seconds
• Use the LEFT/RIGHT keys to scroll between modes
a. Mode 1 for thermostat
b. Mode 2 for time clock
• Press DONE to confirm
• Press POWER once
The mode select function will reset all parameters (Remote temperature sensors and door
contacts excluded).
The Elite Pro Touch can be turned off completely; while it is off, it will not control the heater
or communicate with any connected accessories (Remote temperature sensors and door
contacts).
• To turn off the Elite Pro Touch, press and hold POWER key for at least 3 seconds.
The display and heat output will turn off.
• To turn the Elite Pro Touch back on, press the POWER Key.
Set the clock;
• Press and hold POWER for 3 seconds
• Press CLOCK
• The first hour digit will flash
• Press the UP/DOWN keys to set the hour
• Press the NEXT to set the minutes
• Repeat the above to set the date, month, and year
• Press DONE and then POWER to return to the home screen

The thermostat has three program modes: Weekday/Weekend, 7-day and 24-hour
programming. There is also a manual programming option.
• For Weekday/Weekend programming, the four comfort levels are the same for Mon-
Fri but can be different for Sat-Sun.
• For 7-day programming, each day of the week can have four different levels.
• In 24-hour mode, all days are programmed with the same comfort levels.
The thermostat is supplied with factory-programmed comfort levels; these can be
changed easily. The default times and temperature settings are:
07:00 - 21°C (Wake), 9:00 - 16°C (Leave), 16:00 - 21°C (Return), 22:00 - 16°C (Sleep)
Unused levels must be set to --:-- so that the thermostat will skip these and continue to
the next programmed time. To do this, set the time to 00:00 and press UP/DOWN keys.
• Press the EDIT key
• Use the DAY key to select the day/period of the week (the selection will flash)
• Press NEXT to confirm selection
• WAKE will now flash, and the current time and temperature settings will be shown
• Use the UP/DOWN key at the top to set the hours and minutes
• Use the UP/DOWN key in the centre to set the temperature
• Press the RIGHT arrow key
• LEAVE will flash, displaying the current settings
• Repeat these steps above to set all comfort levels
• For any unused periods, set time to --:--
• Press DONE to confirm and save the settings
You can program up to a maximum of 6 levels. Enable this in the feature menu.
The UP/DOWN keys allow you to adjust the set temperature; when either key is pressed,
you will see the SET TEMP and the desired temperature value. Press DONE to confirm
the temperature setting and return to the main display.
Press the UP/DOWN key to cancel this override, then CANCEL.

The temperature hold function allows you to manually override the current operating
program and set a different temperature for the desired period.
• Press the HOLD once
• Use UP/DOWN to set the desired HOLD time (hours)
• Then Press NEXT
• Minutes will now flash
• Use the UP/DOWN keys to set the desired HOLD time (minutes)
• Use the UP/DOWN keys to set the desired HOLD temperature
• Press DONE to confirm selection
You will see the HOLD LEFT indication displayed on the screen. The time will countdown
the set duration and then revert to the normal program.
• Press the HOLD key once
• Press CANCEL to cancel the HOLD and return to normal operation
• Alternatively, press the EDIT key to adjust the current HOLD settings
This feature allows the next comfort level setting to be brought forward and become active
before its pre-programmed time. Multiple advances are not allowed.
To enable Advance:
• Press the ADVANCE key once
• ADVANCED UNTIL time and the SET temperature will now be displayed
• Press DONE to confirm selection
• To view the SET temperature during Advance, tap either the UP/DOWN key once.
• Press DONE to exit
• To change the SET temperature during Advance, use the UP/DOWN keys followed
by DONE to confirm.
To cancel Advance:
Press the Advance key once, then press CANCEL

The frost icon will toggle ON/OFF each time the POWER key is pressed. In this mode,
the thermostat will display the frost icon and only turn the heating ON should the room
temperature drop below the set frost temperature. The flame symbol will be displayed if
the heating is turned ON in frost mode.
To cancel the frost protection mode, press the key again.
The thermostat has a keypad lock facility. To activate the lock:
• Press and hold the HOLD key for 3 seconds
• The display will show 0000. At this point, enter a four-digit PIN
• Use the UP/DOWN keys to set the first two digits
• Press NEXT
• Use the UP/DOWN keys to set the next two digits
• Press DONE
The display will return to the main screen and display the keypad lock indicator.
Note: The keypad lock indicator is only displayed when the lock is active.
To unlock the thermostat, press any key once:
• The display will show 0000.
• At this point, enter the four-digit PIN you set previously.
• Use the UP/DOWN keys to set the first two digits
• Press NEXT
• Use the UP/DOWN keys to set the next two digits
• Press DONE
The display will unlock and return to the main screen.

The Elite Pro Touch can be paired with remote temperature sensors and door contacts.
Pairing accessories:
Sixteen accessories can be paired with a single Elite Pro Touch Thermostat.
Remote temperature sensor:
When a remote temperature sensor is paired to the thermostat, the thermostat will take
an average between all the remote temperature sensors attached and the temperature
sensor built into the thermostat; this temperature will be displayed.
Door contact:
The thermostat will automatically activate frost protection mode if any door contacts are
broken.
A door icon will be displayed, indication frost protection has been activated.
Pairing the remote temperature sensor and door contact.
• Press and hold the POWER key for 3 seconds
• Press the SETUP key
• Press the DOWN key until the letter P is displayed on the top right of the screen
• The thermostat will start a 99-second countdown; during this countdown, multiple
sensors can be added
• On the remote temperature sensor or door contact, hold the button down for 5
seconds; the red LED will turn on to indicate it is trying to pair with the thermostat.
• When the red LED turns off, the accessory is paired with the thermostat
• The thermostat will display 01:P indication that one accessory has been paired
Viewing accessories:
• Press and hold the power key for 3 seconds
• Press the SETUP key
• Press the DOWN key until the letter A is displayed on the top right, and then press
NEXT
• A:01 shows the accessory ID number.
• Use the UP and DOWN keys to scroll through the list of attached accessories
If a remote temperature sensor is selected, its sensing temperature will be displayed; if a
door contact is selected, its current state (open or closed) will be displayed.
A batter symbol will be displayed if the accessory has a low battery.

Deleting accessories:
• On the accessory, press and hold the reset button for 15 seconds; the red LED will
flash three times to indicate the accessory has been reset.
• On the thermostat follow the Viewing Accessories steps
• Press the UP/DOWN keys to view the accessory the needs to be deleted
• Press and hold the DONE key for 10 seconds
In time clock mode, the timed output will be turned off during the holiday period and then
returned to the programmed settings once the holiday period finishes.
In thermostat mode, the holiday function reduces the set temperature to the frost mode
temperature setting configured in the setup menu.
The thermostat will maintain this temperature for the duration of the holiday and will then
automatically return to the program mode on your return.
To set a holiday:
• Press the HOLIDAY key once
• Enter the return time (hours) by using the UP/DOWN keys, then press NEXT to
confirm
• Enter the return time (minutes) by using the UP/DOWN keys, then press NEXT to
confirm
• Repeat these steps to set Day, Month and Year
• Press DONE to confirm
The display will now show a plane symbol and indicate frost protection active. To view
or change the set frost temperature while in holiday mode, press the UP/DOWN keys
followed by DONE to confirm
Modbus interface allows the thermostat to be controlled via a building management
system (BMS).
A maximum of 32 devices can be connected to a single RS485 adapter. It is
recommended that a foil twisted pair (FTP) cable is used for the Modbus connections
All Modbus connections should be daisy-chained rather than wired in a star formation
If the thermostat is the last Modbus device on the end of the chain, move the toggle
switch on the back of the fascia to the ON position

17. GENERAL SAFETY WHEN USING GAS APPLIANCES
WARNING FOR YOUR SAFETY
IF YOU SMELL GAS:
• Open windows
• DO NOT try to light any appliance
• DO NOT use electrical switches
• DO NOT use any telephone in the building
• Extinguish any open flame
• Leave the building
• Immediately call your local gas supplier after leaving the building
• Follow the gas suppliers instructions
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the Fire Brigade.
FIRE HAZARDS:
• Keep all flammable objects, liquids and vapours the minimum required clearances to
combustibles away from a heater
• Some objects will catch fire or explode when placed close to a heater
• Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, injury or property damage

• Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service or maintenance can result in
death, injury or property damage.
• Read the installation, operation and service manual thoroughly before installing or
servicing an gas equipment.
