Measuring the Mains Water Hardness and Use of Water Filter
(İ) Use of test paper:
- Dip the test paper into the mains water for 1 second.
- Take the paper out of the water and shake.
- Compare what you see on the paper with the color scale.
- Consider our recommendations on the use of filter according to the hardness table.
(İ) The hardness is directly proportional to the lime the water contains. As the hardness increases, the amount
of lime increases. The lime in the water is inconvenient for the proper functioning of your Ice Maker. In case of
non-usage of a filter, it can cause very frequent maintenances and malfunctions that might require repairs out
of warranty even in the waters that can be classified as soft.
* Use of filter is not required.
** Use of filter is recommended for the life of your Ice Maker.
*** Filter has to be used. (!) Should not be operated without filter.
