PLUMBING ACCESS OPTIONS
Determine the best way to connect plumbing.
OPTION A: FROM WALL TO BASIN STAND
From behind the basin stand connect plumbing to the wall
OPTION B: FROM FLOOR BENEATH SEAT
From under the chair seat connect plumbing to the floor
ALL PLUMBING MUST BE COMPLETED
BY A LICENSED PLUMBER
IMPORTANT
BEFORE INSTALLING YOU SHOULD CONSIDER
THE FOLLOWING
• Allow for the necessary room around the unit for
free movement.
• If installing against a wall, a minimum distance of 80mm
between wall and bottom back of basin is required to
allow free movement of basin.
• If plumbing location is in wall (see Diagram A).
For neatness of finish it is preferable to bring water
and waste into the wash lounge in the same hole.
• If plumbing location is on floor (see Diagram A),
place wash lounge over.

INSERT
THE WASH LOUNGE MUST BE SECURED TO THE
FLOOR FOR SAFETY.
• Use appropriate fixings (not supplied) to fix the
lounge to the floor.
BASIN TO BASIN SUPPORT ASSEMBLY:
• Using the four screws located on the top of the
Basin Support, secure the pre-assembled Basin.
Align with and use the holes at the end of the slides.
HAIRDRESSING TAP SET INSTALLATION:
• Install the Flick Mixer using the provided O-ring,
plastic and metal washers, and Long Nut.
• Assemble the Shower Head using the Showerhose
Basin Collar, O-ring, Foam Washer, and Plastic Nut
as indicated.
• Thread the hoses of both the Flick Mixer and Shower
Head through their respective holes in the basin.
PLUMBING CONNECTION
• Connect the Flexible Waste Pipe to the pre-installed
Plug and Waste. Ensure the connection is secure
with the Flat Seal and fitted Flange.
• Connect the other end of the Flexible Waste Pipe to
a P-trap (not supplied). Use the provided Seal and
Flange for this connection.
• Attach the hot and cold (½” connection) braided
hoses to the respective water supplies.
COMFORTNECK INSTALLATION
• Ax the Comfortneck securely to the basin.
BASIN SPRING CONNECTION (INSERT)
• Connect the pre-attached Basin Spring (from the tilt
and slide plate) to the hole in the stand, located at
the top left corner. (Refer to the provided insert for
guidance.)
VINYL COVER PLACEMENT:
• Insert both ends of the Vinyl Cover into the slots
located on the front and back of the Stand.

CLEANING & CARE
UPHOLSTERY
All upholstery needs some care; good housekeeping will help to prolong the life of any upholstered products.
Avoid extreme temperatures. Extreme cold can make your vinyl prone to cracking, while extreme heat can cause
permanent stretching. Avoid exposing your products to direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
ALWAYS FOLLOW THE CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
• Wipe with a clean colour fast cloth dampened with mild alkaline free soap and luke warm water. Do not wet excessively.
• Remove all traces of any cleaning product by wiping with fresh water and a clean cloth.
• Dry with a soft, clean cloth.
• Stubborn grime may require gentle scrubbing with a soft brush.
Do not use:
• hot or boiling water
• hydrocarbons including alcohol
• acetone
• furniture polishes
• bleach
• concentrated detergents
• abrasive powder or paste cleaners
• steel wool
• silicon or petroleum-based cleaners
• solvent based or abrasive cleaning agents
MAINTENANCE
A periodic inspection of all components and fasteners should be made to ensure that your Comfortel Product is structurally
intact and functioning properly.
Damaged and broken parts should be replaced and loose fasteners tightened.
All maintenance to be carried out by a suitably qualified trades person.
