The Quick-Up aid fulfils, together with Comfort Bed System, the
applicable parts of the requirements in the bed standard EN
1970:1999 and it is intended to be used as a handicap aid, for home
care or similar. The Quick-Up aid is intended for individuals older than
12 years of age.

1. Instructions for use
The Quick-Up aid must NOT be used outside the bed’s long side!
1.1 Placing the Quick-Up aid in
user position
• When the aid is to be used, it is to
be placed in the attachment so that
it points slightly diagonally towards
the bed’s middle line. The small
stop on the aid’s tube has to be
located in the attachment’s deeper
notch.
Check that the Quick-Up
aid is in the right position by trying
to turn it to the sides.
1.2 Length adjustment
• The aid can be adjusted to the
correct length by loosening the
lever as shown in figure 2 and
pulling the handle out to the
desired length. NOTE! An inbuilt
stop means it is not possible to pull
the handle out completely.

Quick-Up
1.3 When the aid is not in use
• When the aid is not in use, it can
be placed parallel with the bed’s
foot end. Lightly lift the Quick-
Up aid and turn it to the side as
shown in figure 1. If the aid is to be
returned to the user position – turn
it in, over the bed, until it comes to
a stop. Check once again that the
Quick-Up aid is in the right position
by trying to turn it to the sides.

2. Care instructions
The Quick-Up aid does not normally require regular maintenance.
It can be cleaned with a damp cloth and readily available cleansers and
disinfectants.
3. Field of application
The Comfort raising aid, type Quick-Up, may only be used together with
the Comfort Bed System as an aid when moving in bed or when moving
to/from bed.

When the Quick-Up aid is used for moving, at least two of the
wheels on the bed lift must always be locked.
