1.Assembly Instructions Comfort
Raising Aid RESOLUT
1.1 Assembly
Before assembly:
!The raising aid has to be raised!
The RESOLUT raising aid is placed in one of the sprung base’s four
round sockets in the corners of the bed.
– Place the raising aid in the socket as shown in figures 1 and 2. The
track in the bottom of the lower tubular section has to fit into the
socket’s diagonal strut.
- The upper section of the raising aid has to ‘point’ out from the bed’s
long side. Figure 2.

Check that the raising aid is sitting correctly by trying to
turn it round in the socket – it should NOT be possible.

1.2 Removal
- Lift the raising aid straight up, out of the socket. Figure 3.
1.3 Use
- The RESOLUT raising aid is intended to be used as an aid when
moving to/from the bed. When it is not in use, it can be lifted into the
vertical position. The mechanism for locking it in different positions is
in the aid’s joint (the black round part in the middle!).
– Fold the upper section of the raising aid up or down by taking a hold
as shown in Figure 4.

In the lowered position, the aid stops in the horizontal position. When
lifting up – raise the aid straight up, until it ‘sticks’ in the vertical position.
NOTE! During use for moving to/from the bed, the aid has to be used as
shown in figure 5.
Do not use as shown in figure 6!
The maximum load allowed on the aid is 75 kg!

2. Care Instructions
The RESOLUT raising aid does not normally require regular
maintenance.
2.1 Normal cleaning
The RESOLUT raising aid can be cleaned with readily available cleansers
and disinfectants. Apply with a damp cloth.
2.2 Regular inspection
Check the raising aid’s attachment regularly and that there isn’t an
unnaturally large gap in the joint.
2.3 Load
- Load 75 kg (not user weight)
3. Field of application
To be used as an aid when moving to/from bed.
The RESOLUT raising aid may only be installed in Comfort Bed System
beds manufactured after 1995.
