INSTALLATION
Using the Mounting Bracket
1. Connect the Black wire to a suitable ground and the Red wire to a switched
+12V supply. If the camera is to be used in the rear of the vehicle, the Red
wire should be connected to the reversing light circuit or an interface which
provides a reverse signal.
2. Select a suitable location for the camera and ensure that the area is free
from all cables, fuel & oil. Whenever possible, avoid locations that are subject
to road dirt & water spray.
3. Remove the protective backing from the adhesive pad and place the
camera in the required position. Using the supplied video cable, connect the
camera to the display screen and ensure that the image is displayed correctly.
NB: Rotation of the camera may be required to ensure that the correct
orientation of the image is achieved.
Using the Flush-Mounting Accessories
1. Unscrew and remove the lens cover. Remove the mounting bracket and
attach the ush-mounting accessories to the camera.
2. Connect the Black wire to a suitable ground and the Red wire to a switched
+12V supply. If the camera is to be used in the rear of the vehicle, the Red
wire should be connected to the reversing light circuit or an interface which
provides a reverse signal.
3. Select a suitable location for the camera and ensure that the area is free
from all cables, fuel & oil. Whenever possible, avoid locations that are subject
to road dirt & water spray. Aim to mount the camera preferably 45-60cm from
the ground and cut a suitable hole using the cutting tool provided.
4. Using the supplied video cable, connect the camera to the display screen
and ensure that the image is displayed correctly.
NB: Rotation of the camera may be required to ensure that the correct
orientation of the image is achieved.
Parking Line/Image Adjustment
To remove the parking line feature, cut the small Blue looped wire located on
the camera connection cable.
To swap the image from mirror to normal view, cut the small White looped wire
located on the camera connection cable.
