Installation Instructions for
Conoco Apex Pump Valance
This product is designed to t the Conoco Apex Valance Pumps. Please verify that your site is in

Step 1: Unpack the valance and identify the style of pump that the valance will be tted to. The standard unit
ts Encore, Encore S, Advantage 48, Vista 48, and MOD dispensers.
Step 2: Identify the two side panels (Part I), making sure the “Top” sticker is on the top side. Install two side
panel brackets (Part E) on each side panel using the 1/4” x 1” bolts (Part B) provided. Repeat this process on
the other side, attaching the two side panels together.

Step 3: Line up the holes on one side of an end panel (Part H) with the holes in one side panel. Using the 1/4”
x 1” bolts provided, fasten them together as shown in Figure A. Pull the other side of the end panel toward the
second side panel as shown in Figure B. Align the holes in both panels and fasten with the bolts. Repeat this
process for the other end panel, and make sure the panels are ush together and that there is no light showing
through seams when looking at them directly.

Step 4: Assemble logo/bracket as follows:
- Bend three anges on logo bracket up 90 degrees.
- Place aluminum white backer in Conoco Apex logo. (Friction t backer. Suggest placing bottom “point” rst.
May require exing portion of logo to t bracket tightly inside logo.)
- Place logo on at surface, assuring backer is ush to back edge of logo.
- Turn provided red painted K-lathe screws into locations shown below.

Step 5: Align the three pre-drilled holes in the Apex logo mounting bracket and the valance side panel. Put
a screw in each hole to attach the bracket/logo as shown. Repeat this to attach second bracket/logo to other
side panel.
Assembly Instructions
Step 6: Use the 1/4” x 1” bolts/nuts/washers to assem-
ble the Z-brackets to the valance. Do not fully tighten
them yet, because the brackets need to be adjusted to
allow the lifting lugs on top of the pump to be attached
to mount the valance.

Step 7: Adjust the bracket as necessary before installation. Use the bolts (lifting lugs) on top of pump dispens-
er to mount the valance, ensuring a tight t. Use existing holes in top of pump; do not drill new holes in the
pump.
Note: In case of obstructions, a radius end panel can be replaced with the flat end panel PN
688501 as shown below. This must be ordered separately, but is installed in the same way.

Step 2. Use 1/4”-20 screws (lifting lugs) on top of pump to attach Bracket Part No. 382850 (two brackets includ-
ed) to each end of pump as shown.
Step 1. Loosen screws holding Z-brackets (Part No. 681917) to valance.
Step 3. Lift valance on top of pump and use screws, washers, nuts provided with Bracket (Part No.
382850) to attach Z-brackets to that bracket.
Step 4. Tighten screws, nuts holding Z-bracket to valance.

Mounting on Bennett Pump Dispenser

Step 2. Use 1/4”-20 screws (lifting lugs) on top of pump to attach Bracket Part No. 632548 (two brackets includ-
ed) to each end of pump as shown.
