SRX (TELESCOPIC) VOLLEYBALL POSTS
SAFETY REGULATIONS
In order to reduce the risk of injury and to assure secure functioning of the apparatus, rules mentioned
below are to be strictly followed:
1. Use this apparatus only under the supervision of a trained and qualified instructor.
2. Check this apparatus for proper stability before each training, use it only in perfect technical
conditions.
3. Always check the apparatus for its correct installation, particularly for the fixation mechanism,
before each use. If there are any doubts, do not use the apparatus and get a professional
check.
4. Please consider your own limits and the restrictions of this apparatus.
5. Obstructive items or persons in close proximity of the apparatus are not allowed.
6. Provide appropriate safety zones in the surroundings of the apparatus.
7. Never use the apparatus under the influence of alcohol, medication or drugs.
8. Pregnant women or persons with health issues should not use the apparatus.
9. Do not attempt to repair any damage to the apparatus yourself but contact your supplier for
advice or technical assistance.
10. Any unauthorised repair, alternation, removal of parts or change of specifications of the
apparatus are strictly prohibited for reasons of safety and will automatically and immediately

and without any prior notice end any warranty or right of compensation in any form
whatsoever.
GENERAL ADVICE
The life period of apparatus is limited. Also materials wear after a certain period of time. Please check
all parts, which are subject to severe wear and tear, at least once every 3 months. This is mainly
relevant for the security of adjustable parts and mechanisms, e.g. rails, bars, rings. Replace any worn
off, defective and missing parts. If there are any doubts, ask for advice from one of our specialists.
For security reasons, we suggest to perform a maintenance check of all apparatuses and mats by a
specialist, once a year. This check can be part of a yearly or six month safety check.
This apparatus is designed to be used in dry conditions only.
ASSEBMBLY AND USE
The setup and storing of this device may only be undertaken by competent adults who have
read and understood the safety regulations of this manual.
1. Place both the telescopic post with TCS tensioning system (1) and the post with the
net attachment (2) into the floor sockets (3). Make sure the sliding strips (4) point
outwards
2. Attach one end of the net (5) to the post with the net attachment. Make sure there are
some chain links (6) between the attachment to the post and to the net itself.
3. Slide the post up to a height of approximately 2.5m (for net height of 2.43m) by lifting
the orange lever (7) and sliding it upward, including the telescopic tube. When it
reaches the correct height push the lever down again to clamp it.
4. Attach the other end of the net to the cable of the TCS tensioning system at the
opposite volleyball post. Slide this post also to a height of 2.5m (for net height of
2.43m)
IMPORTANT NOTE: The height indication on the post is NOT the height measurement from the floor.
This height indication in combination with the one on the net-height adjuster are a helpful calibration
tool for future set-ups assuming the posts are used in the same sockets on subsequent uses.
5. To tension the net, turn the lever clockwise. The correct tension can be read under the
position of the steel cable. The correct tension of the Schelde net is indicated with the
Schelde logo
NOTE: When setting up the volleyball set for the first time the cables may stretch and become
too long. Should this occur one or more links can be removed from the chain to achieve the
correct tension

6. To tension the bottom of the net, pull the bottom cord around the post under the designated
notch. Then secure the cord
7. No check the height of the net. In the centre of the playing field the height should be 2.43m
and above the side lines 2.45m. If necessary, this height can be corrected by adjusting the
height of the telescopic part of the post or changing the tension of the bottom cord.
8. Use the VELCRO fastener strips to attach the side of the net to the posts.
9. Attach the sleeves of the antennae to the net.

10. When everything is set up and measured correctly, the small orange stickers that are included
can be placed on the sliding strips. In the case of the setup described above (2.43m) place
the sticker next to the volleyball + “male” symbol. With the same combination of posts and
sockets this can now be used for the height adjustment of future setups
NOTE: The height indication on the post is not the height measured from the floor. This height
indication on the post together with the orange stickers on the sliding strip is an assist for the
adjustment of future setups. (Assuming that the same combination of floor sockets and
posts are used)
NOTE: To disassemble the volleyball set the above steps should be followed in reverse order.
Make sure that the tensioning mechanism is turned completely back to remove all tension before
removing the net.
