Operation Manual

Introduction
This is a 15 inch LCD SVGA input monitor for arcade machines and CNC
machinery retrofits. It features the VESA p ug & p ay system which
a ows the monitor to automatica y adjust itse f to the match the
frequency of the user's device.

Po er Saver
•The power contro system is insta ed inside the LCD monitor.
•If the monitor has not been used for a certain period of time, the
system wi turn the monitor to ow vo tage mode to save power. Any
button press wi return the monitor to origina state.
•Your input device e.g. your computer contro s the power saver mode.
You can adjust these settings via your computer
•The LCD monitor is compatib e with EPA Energy Star and N Tek if
used with a VESA DPMS computer.
•To save power, turn off the power of the LCD monitor when it is not
in use.
Plug and Play
•The VESA p ug and p ay function e iminates the comp icated and
time-consuming insta ation process.
•As this is a p ug and p ay monitor. Your computer system can easi y
identify and automatica y adjust the monitor.
•The LCD monitor uses Disp ay Data Channe (DDC) to send Extended
Disp ay Identification Data (EDID) to the computer system, so the
computer system can be set to monitor auto adjust.

Setting up your
LCD monitor
Screen Adjustment
To enter adjust mode, p ease refer to the OSD contro .
•Turn the computer and LCD monitor on.
•Press “Auto” button to start auto adjust.
•This wi start the auto adjust process. This wi take approximate y 10
seconds. You may notice the image changing and occasiona y
f ashing (this is norma ).
•Your LCD monitor provides a se f testing function, through which you
can check whether the LCD monitor functions are working proper y.
•If your LCD monitor is proper y connected, but there is no image
showing and the indicator ights up in orange, p ease fo ow the be ow
steps:
•Shutdown the computer and the LCD monitor.
•Unp ug the signa connector from the back of the computer.
•Turn the LCD monitor on.
•If the image connector is disconnected or damaged, a “No signa
input” sign wi pop up on the monitor.
•Turn off the LCD monitor and reconnect the signa cab e, and then
turn the computer and LCD monitor on.
•If the LED of the LCD monitor is an orange co our after comp eting
the steps above, p ease check your VGA card and computer system.
Your monitor shou d be operating proper y.
•If the “out of range” error pops up on the monitor, the input frequency
is outside of the specified range and wi not disp ay an image. The
correct frequency wi need to be entered and then restart the monitor.

adjustment when OSD is Disp ayed
4. Do n/- This button is used for negative
adjustment when OSD is Disp ayed
5. Menu This button is used to disp ay the ON
Screen Disp ay (OSD) menu and se ect
settings and parameters.
6. Auto Automatica y optimize positions, phase
and c ock when OSD is not shown.
Adjusting the

Image •Press the menu button to start the OSD feature.
•C ick the “Up” or “Down” button to se ect the function to be adjusted.
•C ick the “Menu” button to access into the function to be adjusted.
•C ick the “Up” or “Down” button to change the current setting of the
function se ected.
•To exit the OSD menu or go back to a previous menu c ick the
“Auto/Esc” button. Upon exiting the menu any changes wi be
automatica y saved.
•The OSD menu wi disappear if no buttons are pressed for severa
seconds. OSD disp ay time is adjustab e to suit needs
•Due to the automatic save feature, turning off the power is unwise
whi e navigating the menu.
Please Note: Due to the advanced nature of this pane . Adjustments to
c ock, phase and image positioning are saved on y for the signa timing
you are current y using. Meaning if your input is CGA 640 x 215 @60Hz,
and you adjust the c ock setting. This wi on y affect this timing.
So when your change input to VGA 640 x 480 @60Hz for examp e the c ock wi
be at its defau t (or ast memory saved setting). This is to a ow the user to get a
picture perfect for every input he requires and avoid redoing settings each time
the input is changed. Except for these adjustments, c ock, phase and image
positioning, a other adjustments are universa for examp e changing the
brightness setting wi change the brightness setting for a inputs and timings.

Connecting into Option 1 - Using VGA Input
Monitor
By using a standard VGA 15 pin computer cab e p ug and p ay or,
a ternative y you may cut the end of your cab e and wire direct y to the
output connector of the source equipment.

The PCB interface board is designed to faci itate connection from o der sty e
CGA/EGA/VGA source equipment. The board a so a ows for adjustment of

Using the supp ied 5 and 6 wire open ended cab es, signa formats of RGBH+V
(combined sync) or RGBHV (separate sync) may be easi y connected.

Our adapter PCB offers a number of adjustments via the fo owing contro s

Adjust to vary the eve of the individua output co our signa s to compensate
for over exposure/brightness of video image.

VR2 – Green | signa strength if image is
VR3 – B ue | over bright

Filter Jumpers
Set Jumpers as required to reduce effect of b ack ine artifacts
when ow reso ution mismatch becomes evident on LCD screen.
By setting to “ON” position, each co our can be fi tered as required.
