ALGEMENE
OPMERKINGEN
LEES DE GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING ZORGVULDIG DOOR VOORDAT U HET APPARAAT
IN GEBRUIK NEEMT EN BEWAAR DE INSTRUCTIES.
• Het apparaat is uitsluitend ontworpen voor privégebruik. Het is niet geschikt voor
commercieel gebruik.
• Gebruik het niet buiten huis. Houd het uit de buurt van warmtebronnen, direct zonlicht,
vochtigheid (dompel het nooit onder in een vloeistof) en scherpe randen. Gebruik het
apparaat niet met natte handen. Als het apparaat vochtig of nat is, koppel het dan
onmiddellijk los van de stroom.
• Schakel bij het schoonmaken of opbergen het apparaat uit en trek altijd de stekker uit
het stopcontact (trek aan de stekker zelf, niet aan de kabel) wanneer het apparaat niet
wordt gebruikt en verwijder de aangesloten accessoires.
• Gebruik alleen originele reserveonderdelen.
SPECIALE
VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
• Tijdens en na het gebruik zal de temperatuur van de toegankelijke oppervlakken erg
hoog zijn. Houd het apparaat altijd vast aan de handgreep. Ook na gebruik heeft het
oppervlak van het verwarmingselement nog restwarmte.
• Overschrijd de MAX-markering niet bij het vullen van de waterkoker, anders kan het
water overkoken en brandwonden veroorzaken!
• Zorg er altijd voor dat de deksel goed gesloten is.
• Open de deksel niet als het water aan het koken is.
• Het waterniveau moet tussen de MAX- en MIN-markeringen liggen.
• Gebruik het apparaat alleen op een vlak werkoppervlak.
• Verplaats het apparaat niet en raak het niet aan wanneer het in werking is.
• Voordat u de stekker in het stopcontact steekt, moet u ervoor zorgen dat de te
gebruiken netspanning overeenkomt met die van het apparaat. Deze informatie vindt u
op de doos en label.
• Sluit het apparaat aan op een naar behoren geïnstalleerde beschermende
contactaansluiting.
• Dit apparaat kan worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar als ze onder toezicht staan
of instructies hebben gekregen met betrekking tot het veilige gebruik van het apparaat

GEBRUIK
• Rol de lengte van het netsnoer dat u nodig hebt volledig uit van het onderste gedeelte
van de basis. Zorg ervoor dat het leidingnet niet in de knoop raakt.
• Controleer of de elektrische spanning die u van plan bent te gebruiken hetzelfde is als
die van het apparaat. Details zijn te vinden op het label op de basis of de doos.
HOE TE
GEBRUIKEN
Til de waterkoker van de basis op
voordat u de waterkoker met water vult.

Druk op de knop om de deksel te openen en vul
met de gewenste hoeveelheid water tussen het
niveau "MAX" en "MIN".

Sluit de deksel, plaats de waterkoker terug op de basis.
Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.

1. Vul nooit water boven het maximale niveau.
2.Voor het eerste keer gebruik, vult u water tot "MAX" -niveau, kookt u
water en herhaalt u dit twee keer om mogelijke geur te verwijderen.
3. Raak de behuizing van de waterkoker NIET aan om brandwonden te
voorkomen.

WATER VERWARMEN /
WATER WARM HOUDEN
Optie 1: Kook alleen water zonder warmhoudfunctie
Druk op de toets "BOIL / STOP ", u hoort een "piep" -geluid, na 3 keer knipperen van de
indicator zal de waterkoker beginnen met verwarmen en schakelt automatisch uit naar
stand-by nadat het water is gekookt.
Optie 2: Kook water en houd warm op de gewenste temperatuur
Druk op de toets "BOIL / STOP" en druk op "Selecteren" om de gewenste temperatuur te
selecteren, u hoort een "piep" -geluid, na 3 keer knipperen van de indicator zal de
waterkoker beginnen met verwarmen. Hij stopt nadat het water is gekookt, het apparaat
blijft nu in warme staat op de gewenste temperatuur.
Optie 3: Verwarm water op de gewenste temperatuur (zonder koken) en houd
warm
Druk op de toets "Selecteren" om de gewenste temperatuur te selecteren, u hoort een
"piep" -geluid, na 3 keer knipperen van de indicator zal de waterkoker beginnen met
verwarmen totdat het water de gewenste temperatuur bereikt heeft. Hierna blijft de
waterkoker in warme toestand.

HET SCHERM

Stop met verwarmen of stop met warm houden
Wanneer u wilt stoppen met het koken of warm houden van water, drukt u op de toets
"KOKEN/STOPPEN". De waterkoker schakelt nu over naar de stand-by modus.

Deze waterkoker beschikt over 5 verschillende watertemperaturen om verschillende
drankjes te maken. LET OP ! Voeg nooit iets anders dan water in de waterkoker toe.

Instructie voor het maken van dranken
MELK 45°C Druk op de toets "Selecteren" totdat het
lampje "Milk 45" 3 keer knippert en het
apparaat begint te verwarmen. Nadat het
water 45 °C heeft bereikt, stopt het apparaat
met verwarmen. Gebruik water van 45°C om
te mengen met melkpoeder om melk te
maken.
HONING 55°C Druk op de toets "Selecteren" totdat het
lampje "Honey 55" 3 keer knippert en het
apparaat begint te verwarmen. Nadat het
water 55 °C heeft bereikt, stopt het apparaat
met verwarmen. Gebruik water van 55°C om
te mengen met honing om honingwater te
maken.
THEE 80°C Druk op de toets "Selecteren" totdat het
lampje "Tea 80" 3 keer knippert en het
apparaat begint te verwarmen. Nadat het
water 80 °C heeft bereikt, stopt het apparaat
met verwarmen. Gebruik water van 80 °C
om te mengen met groene theebladeren (of
theezakje) om thee te zetten.

Instructie voor het maken van dranken
KOFFIE 90°C Druk op de toets "Selecteren" totdat het
lampje "Coffee 90" 3 keer knippert, het
apparaat begint te verwarmen. Nadat het
water 90 °C heeft bereikt, stopt het apparaat
met verwarmen. Gebruik water van 90 °C
om te mengen met gemalen koffiepoeder of
oploskoffiepoeder om koffie te zetten.
KOKEN 100°C Druk op de toets "Boil / Stop", "Boil 100" -
lampje knippert 3 keer, het apparaat begint
met verwarmen. Nadat water is gekookt,
stopt het apparaat met verwarmen, het
lampje "Boil 100" gaat uit. Water is klaar om
op elk moment te gebruiken.

Opmerking: de bovenstaande warmhoudperiode is gebaseerd op de duur wanneer de
stroom is aangesloten.
WAARSCHUWINGEN
BIJ GEBRUIK
• Schakel het apparaat altijd uit voordat u het van de basis verwijdert! Zorg er ook voor
dat het is uitgeschakeld wanneer u het terug op de basis plaatst.
• Houd bij het uitgieten van het water de deksel gesloten.
• Tijdens het gebruik wordt de buitenkant van de waterkoker heet. Raak het niet aan en
laat het apparaat afkoelen voordat u het opbergt.
• Als het apparaat lange tijd niet wordt gebruikt, kook dan vers water gevuld tot de MAX-
markering 3-4 keer en gooi het water hierna weg.

REINIGING
• Schakel het apparaat altijd uit voordat u het schoonmaakt en haal de stekker uit het
stopcontact. Wacht tot het apparaat is afgekoeld.
• Dompel het apparaat of de basis nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen, anders kan
dit leiden tot een elektrische schok of brand.
• Gebruik geen draadborstel of andere schurende voorwerpen.
• Gebruik geen zure/bijtende of schurende reinigingsmiddelen.
• Reinig het geperforeerde gebied in de tuit met een nylon borstel van binnenuit.
• Spoel het waterreservoir uit met schoon water. Droog het vervolgens af met een doek.
• Maak de behuizing na gebruik schoon met een licht vochtige doek.
ONTKALKEN
• Regelmatig ontkalken is noodzakelijk om een lange levensduur van uw waterkoker te
garanderen.
• De frequentie van de ontkalkingsbewerking is afhankelijk van de hardheid van het water
en hoe vaak het apparaat wordt gebruikt. Als kraanwater wordt gebruikt, adviseert de
fabrikant om na 8-10 keer koken te ontkalken.
• Doe een kleine hoeveelheid azijn of in de winkel verkrijgbaar ontkalkingsmiddel en water,
schakel het apparaat in en kook gedurende 1-3 minuten om te ontkalken.
• Na het ontkalken kookt het apparaat één keer vers water om eventuele resten te
verwijderen. Consumeer dit water niet.
TIPS
Als uw lokale water hard is wordt het ten zeerste aanbevolen om elke keer ongeveer 1
uur na het koken een beetje water in de waterkoker te houden. Dit beschermt de
waterkoker en zorgt voor een langere levensduur.

GENERAL
NOTES
READ THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PUTTING THE
APPLIANCE INTO OPERATION AND KEEP THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE.
• The appliance is designed exclusively for private use. Not for commercial use.
• Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity
(never immerse it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet
hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
• When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug
from the socket (pull the plug itself not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and
remove the attached accessories.
• Only use original spare parts.
SPECIAL SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
• During operation and after the use, the temperature of the accessible surfaces will be
very high. Always hold the appliance by the handle. Even after use the surface of the
heating element still has residual heat.
• Do not exceed the MAX mark when filling, otherwise the water may boil over and cause
burns!
• Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
• Do not open the lid when the water is boiling.

• Completely unwind the length of the cable that you require from the bottom section of
the base. Please ensure that the cable does not become tangled up.
• Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is same as that of the
appliance. Details are to be found on the label on the base or the box.

USE
Lift the kettle body from the base
before filling the water.

Press the button to open the lid and fill with
the desired amount of water between “MAX”

2. Before using for the first time, fill water to the “MAX” level, boil water
and dispense away, repeat this for two times to remove possible odor.
3. DO NOT touch the kettle body to avoid scald when it is working.
CAUTION

HEATING WATER /
KEEPING WATER WARM
Option 1: Boil water only without keep warm function
Press “BOIL/STOP “ button, you will hear a “beep” sound after 3-time flashes of the
indicator, the kettle starts heating and shuts off to standby condition after the water is
boiled.
Option 2: Boil water and keep warm at desired temperature
Press “BOIL/STOP “ button, and press “Select” to select your desired temperature, you
will hear a “beep” sound after 3-time flashes of the indicator, the kettle starts heating
and stops after the water is boiled, the appliance is now at keep warm condition to the
desired temperature.
Option 3: Heat water to desired temperature (without boiling) and keep warm
Press “Select” button to select your desired temperature, you will hear a “beep” sound
after 3-time flashes of the indicator, the kettle starts heating until the water reaches the
desired temperature and stays at keep warm condition.

Note: the keeping warm period as mentioned above is based on the fact that the power
is connected.
CAUTIONS WHEN
USING
• Always shut off the appliance before removing it from the base! Also ensure that it is
turned off when you set it back onto the base.
• When pouring the water out, keep the lid closed.
• During operation the kettle body becomes hot. Do not touch it and allow the appliance to
cool down before storing it away.
• If the appliance is not used for a long time, boil fresh water to the MAX mark for 3-4
times and throw the water away.

CLEANING
• Always turn the appliance off before cleaning it and remove the mains plug. Wait until
the appliance has cooled down.
• Never immerse the appliance or the base into water or other liquids, this might result in
an electric shock or fire.
• Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
• Clean the perforated area in the spout with a nylon brush from the inside.
• Rinse the water container out with clean water. Then dry it off with a cloth.
• Clean the housing after use with a slightly damp cloth.
DESCALING
• Regular descaling is necessary to ensure a long life for your kettle.
• The frequency of the descaling operation depends on the hardness of the water on how
often the appliance is used. If tap water is applied, the manufacturer advises to descale
after 8-10 boils.
• Put in a small amount of vinegar or commercially available descaling agent and water,
switch the appliance on and boil for 1-3 minutes to descale.
• After descaling the appliance boil fresh water one time in order to remove any residues.
Do not consume this water.
TIPS
If your local water is hard and the filtered device is limited, it is strongly advised to remain
a little water inside the pot for about 1 hour each time after boiled. This will protect the
kettle and gives it a longer life.
