IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your appliance, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following.
1. Read all instructions prior to using
2. Do not touch hot glass surface. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse cord,
plug or the appliance in water or other liquids. This may cause
personal injury and/or damage to the product. See instructions for
cleaning.
4. Do not allow this item to be used as a toy. Close supervision is
necessary when used by or near children. This appliance is not
intended for use by children.
5. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
6. Do not use with damaged cord or plug. Do not use if it has been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped in water. Return it to
the service center for examination, repair or adjustment.
7. It is recommended to regularly inspect the appliance to avoid a
hazard.
8. Fully unwind the power cord before use.
9. Never remove the plug from the socket by pulling the power cord.
Always unplug from the plug gripping the area.
10. Do not let cord hang over the edge of the table, counter, or touch
hot surfaces. Do not place on or near a gas or electric burner, or in
a heated oven. Do not let the power cord become knotted.
11. Unplug from power outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow unit to cool before adding or removing parts and before
cleaning the appliance.
12. Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
13. To disconnect: switch the unit to the “Off” position, then switch off
at the power outlet, then unplug and allow to cool, if appliance is
not in use, before cleaning, before attempting to move the
appliance, disassembling, assembling and when storing the
appliance.
14. Any maintenance other than cleaning should be performed at an
authorized service center.

15. Use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer
may cause fire, electrical shock, injury or damage to the product.
16. The unit is not intended to be operated by means of an external
timer or separate remote-control system.
17. Do not use outdoors.
18. This appliance is for household use only.
19. Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended
purpose. Do not use in moving vehicles or boats. Do not use
outdoors. Misuse may cause injury.
20. To protect against fire, do not operate the unit in the presence of
explosive and/or flammable fumes.
21. Extreme caution should be exercised when using or moving the
appliance containing food or other hot liquids.
22. Do not move the appliance during cooking.
23. Use only a level, dry and heat-resistant surface. Do not place the
cooking plate on the edge of a bench or table during operation.
Ensure the surface is level, clean and free of water and other
substances.
24. Position away from walls, curtains and other heat or steam sensitive
materials. Provide adequate space above and on all sides for air
circulation.
25. To eliminate a choking hazard for young children, remove and
safely discard the protective cover that is fitted to the power plug
on the appliance.
26. Remove any packaging material and promotional stickers before
using the cooking plate for the first time.
27. Avoid scalding from escaping steam when removing the glass lid
from the removable cooking bowl when hot by carefully lifting the
lid angled away from yourself.

•Before connecting the appliance to power supply, check that
power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with power
supply details shown on appliance's rating label(s).

•Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage. If the
supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by qualified persons in
order to avoid a danger or injury.
•Never use a damaged appliance! Disconnect appliance from
power supply and contact your retailer if it is damaged.
•Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair appliance
yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be conducted by
qualified personnel only.
•To avoid damaging power cable, do not squeeze, bend or chafe it
on sharp edges. Keep it away from hot surfaces and open flames.
•Warning! Do not immerse electrical parts of appliance in water or
other liquids. Never hold appliance under running water.
•Do not operate appliance with wet hands or while standing on a
wet floor. Do not touch power plug with wet hands.
•Do not unplug from power supply by pulling the power cable.
•Do not place appliance on a plastic tablecloth.
•Disconnect power plug from power supply when not in use and
before cleaning. Always switch appliance off before disconnecting
power plug.
•Place appliance on a heat-resistant surface only. Avoid placing
appliance on or close to easy flammable materials (e.g curtains).
Keep a minimum distance of 15 cm to walls and other objects.
•Danger of burns! Hot oil, liquids, and hot food can cause serious
burns. Do not move the appliance during operation.
•This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an
external timer or separate remote-control system.
•Never leave appliance unattended during use.
•The glass lid has a vent through which hot steam can escape!
Avoid contact with this escaping steam.
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older
than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of
reach of children less than 8 years.
•Warning! If glass ceramic plate is cracked, immediately disconnect
appliance from power supply. Do not cook on a damaged
ceramic plate. The spillovers may penetrate broken ceramic plate

and create a risk of electric shock. Contact your retailer or
customer service.
•WARNING! DANGER OF BURNS! Do not touch the appliance while in
use. During use the appliance becomes hot. Since temperatures
are perceived differently by different persons, this appliance shall
be used with CAUTION. The appliance shall be touched only at
intended handles and gripping surfaces. Use kitchen mittens during
use. Surfaces other than intended gripping surfaces shall get
enough time to cool before being touched.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
•Longer extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in their use.
•If an extension cord is used:
-The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
-The longer cord should be arranged so that it does not drape over
the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled by children or
tripped over unintentionally.
-If the appliance is of the grounded type, the cord set or extension
cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded while in use to protect the operator
from electrical shock. The appliance is equipped with a 3-conductor
cord and a 3-prong grounding-type plug to fit the proper grounding-
type receptacle.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
•READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS.
•Remove all packaging materials and check that all items have
been received in good condition.
•Tear up all plastic bags and dispose of them properly as they can
pose a suffocation or chocking risk to children.

•Wash the cooking pot, lid and grill plate in warm, soapy water.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.
•Place unit on a dry, level countertop or table. Keep the edge of the
unit at least 6 inches away from any objects.
OPERATION
Standby mode
1. Connect power plug to a suitable power supply.
2. All lights will be light in one second, display will show “----”
Standard cooking mode
Use this mode to heat up liquids or foods that do not require timed
cooking.
1. Use this mode with the included cooking pot, or with any
compatible cookware.
2. Place the hot pot or other compatible cookware on the glass
ceramic plate. If using the included pot, use the attachment ring to
secure the accessory. Place the ring on the cooking plate and
position the pot in the center of the ring to secure it.
3. Press the control knob to switch the appliance on. The display shows
“ON”and “GRILLING” and “TIMED COOKING” functions blink.
4. Rotate the control knob to choose the desired power
(temperature) level from 1 to 12.
5. Press the control knob again to start cooking.
6. When food has been sufficiently cooked, press the control knob to
stop cooking. The display will show “–H–“, which indicates that the
glass ceramic plate is still very hot and that the fan is still working. Do
not touch it until “–H–” disappears from the display.
7. Disconnect the power plug from power supply after the “–H–”
disappears from the display.
Warning! Danger of burns! Do not touch functional surfaces while in
use. During use appliance becomes hot. When using appliance
always wear kitchen mittens.

GRILING mode
Use this function to grill foods. This function is used with the timer to allow
timed grilling.
1. Place the grill plate on the glass ceramic plate. Use the attachment
ring to secure the grill plate to the cooking plate. Place the ring on
the cooking plate and position the grill plate in the center of the
ring to secure it.
2. Press the control knob to switch the appliance on. The display shows
“ON”, “GRILLING”and “TIMED COOKING”functions blink. Touch the
“GRILLING”indicator to enter grill mode.
3. Rotate the control knob to choose the desired temperature level.
4. Touch the GRILING indicator again to display the cooking time.
Rotate the control knob to the right to set the desired time.
5. Press the control knob to start cooking. The “GRILLING”indicator
light will remain lit during the cooking process.
6. When the timer reaches 0, the unit will beep once to indicate that
cooking time has elapsed. The display will show “–H–“, which
indicates that the glass ceramic plate is still very hot and that the
fan is still working. Do not touch it until “–H–” disappears from the
display.
7. Carefully remove your food using heat-resistant utensils.
8. Disconnect the power plug from the power supply after the “–H–”
disappears from the display.
9. Let the grill plate cool down before handling. Always wear heat-
resistant gloves to handle accessories.
TIMED COOKING mode (timed)
1. Place the hot pot or any compatible cooking vessel on the glass
ceramic plate. If using the included pot, use the attachment ring to
secure the accessory. Place the ring on the cooking plate and
position the pot in the center of the ring to secure it.
2. Press the control knob to switch the appliance on. The display shows
“ON”, “GRILLING”and “TIMED COOKING”functions blink. Touch the
“TIMED COOKING”indicator to select the function.
3. Rotate the control knob to select the desired temperature.

4. Touch the “TIMED COOKING”indicator again. The display will show
the cooking time. Rotate the control knob to the right to set the
desired cooking time.
5. Press the control knob to start cooking. The “TIMED COOKING
“indicator light will remain lit during the cooking process.
6. When the timer reaches 0, the unit will beep once to indicate that
cooking time has elapsed. The display will show “–H–“, which
indicates that the glass ceramic plate is still very hot and that the
fan is still working. Do not touch it until “–H–” disappears from the
display.
7. Carefully remove your food using heat-resistant utensils, or remove
the pot or cooking vessel from the cooking plate using heat-
resistant gloves. Place the pot or cooking vessel on a heat-resistant
mat.
8. Disconnect the power plug from the power supply after the “–H–”
disappears from the display.
WARNING! If the appliance starts to work abnormally, emits
smoke or there are other indicators suggesting that it can be
damaged, stop using it immediately. Disconnect plug from
power source and contact your retailer or customer service.
Tips!
• Brush the grill plate with a little cooking oil before cooking.
• As a cooling measure, fan continues to operate 10 minutes
after appliance has been switched off. Do not immediately
disconnect power plug after use to ensure ample cooling time.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
•Clean appliance after each use.
•Clean the ceramic glass plate and external surfaces of the
appliance with a damp cloth or sponge.
WARNING! Before cleaning make sure appliance is switched off
and disconnected from power supply. Let appliance cool
completely before cleaning.

•Remove coarse residue on ceramic glass plate with a special glass
scraper and cleaner for glass ceramic plates, which are available
from specialized dealers.
•To clean accessories, use warm water and some mild soap
solution. All accessories are dishwasher safe and can be also
cleaned with a dishwasher.
•Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, or
metal or sharp objects. They might scratch the non-stick surfaces.
•Store appliance in a cool, dry location, protected from
moisture and out of the reach of children.
Storage and transportation
• When not in use for a longer period of time we recommend to store
appliance in its original packaging. Store in a dry location out of reach
of children.
• When transporting we recommend using original packaging. Secure
packaging and appliance against any vibrations.
