Please read the manual carefully before you use the unit, and retain for future reference.
NOTE: This device is for indication of blood pressure only. If any doubt, consult your doctor.
The unit is compact and easy to use and works on the oscillometric principle (measuring blood
pressure with an automated cuff). It measures your blood pressure and pulse rate simply and
quickly. The device uses its advanced “Intellisense” for comfort controlled inflation without the need
of pressure pre-setting or re-inflation. This unit is only suitable for adults.
The unit has a 2x90 profiles of memory settings, each measurement result will be displayed on the
screen, and automatically stored. This blood pressure monitor uses blood pressure classification
index easily identifying whether your blood pressure is within normal range.

Pre-measurement
Before the measurement
Sit calmly and quietly for 5-10 minutes and avoid eating, drinking, alcohol, smoking, exercising
and bathing before taking a measurement. All these factors will influence the measurement
result.
Remove watch or jewellery from your wrist.
Proper Use of the unit
Always measure on the same wrist (normally left).
Take measurement regularly at the same time of every day, as blood pressure changes
throughout the day.
Common factors of wrong measurement
Please measure under the same conditions if you wish to compare your blood pressure. It is
especially important to measure in a quiet environment.
Make sure you are in a comfortable, relaxed position and do not activate any of the muscles in
the arm on which you are taking the measurement.
If you put your wrist lower or higher than the heart, a false reading will be obtained.
Note:
A loose cuff or a full bladder may result in false readings.
With repeated measurements, blood accumulates in the wrist which can lead to false readings.
Consecutive blood pressure measurements should be repeated after 1 minute pause or after the
arm has been held up in order to allow the accumulated blood to recede.

Fitting the cuff
1. Roll up sleeve. Make sure your sleeve is not rolled up too
tightly on your arm. This may constrict the flow of blood in
your arm.
2. Wrap the cuff directly against your skin, hold the bottom
part of the cuff and wrap it around the wrist so it fits
comfortably and securely around your wrist as pictured
above.
3. Sit in a chair with an erect body posture. The
monitor should be level with your heart.
4. Press the START/STOP button, the monitor will measure your
blood pressure automatically. Please keep still when the
monitor works.
If it is not possible to fit the cuff to your left wrist, it can also be
placed on the right. However, all measurements should be
taken using the same wrist.
Measuring procedure
1. Press the START/STOP button, all symbols appear on the
display, then 0 flashes for 2 seconds, the pump begins
to inflate the cuff, the rising pressure in the cuff is
shown on the display.

Please read and retain these instructions for future reference v001: 12/06/20
2. After the cuff is suitably inflated, the pump stops and
the pressure gradually falls. The cuff pressure is
displayed. In case the inflation is not sufficient, the
device automatically re-inflates to a higher pressure.
3. When the device detects a pulse, the heart symbol ♥on
the display starts to flash.
4. When the measurement has been completed, the
systolic, diastolic and pulse rate will appear on the
display.
5. The measurement readings remain on the display until
you switch off the device. If no button is pressed for a
period of 3 minutes, the device switches off itself in
order to save power.
Note: The Symbol will be displayed along with the reading
If the Irregular heartbeat is detected during the measurement.
Discontinuing a measurement
If it is necessary to interrupt a blood pressure measurement for any reason (e.g. the patient feels
unwell) the START/STOP button can be pressed at any time. The device immediately decreases
the cuff pressure automatically.
Memory-recall of measurements
This blood pressure monitor automatically stores 2x90 sets of measurements values, the oldest
record will be replaced by the latest measurement value when more than 90 sets have been
reached by each user.
Read memory record
Press the MEM button when power off, all symbols appear on the display, then the latest 3
times average values will be shown, press the MEM button again, the last measurement value
will be shown, as well as subsequent measurements can be shown one after the other by
pressing the MEM button each time.
Clear Memory of measurements
If you are sure you want to permanently remove all stored measurements from the memory,
press and hold MEM button to enter into setting mode when power off,
press the MEM button 6 times until CL appears, press the START/STOP
button, CL will flash for 3 times to clear all memory. After this press the
MEM button again, “M” and “no” will be shown on the display which
means that no memory is stored.

About blood pressure
Blood pressure is the pressure exerted on the arteries.
The systolic pressure value represents the blood pressure produced by contraction of the heart
muscle.
The diastolic blood pressure value represents the blood pressure produced by relaxation of the
heart muscle.
According to the blood pressure classification by the NHS. SYS lower than 90mmHg is considered
as hypotension (low blood pressure). A reading of 140mmHg or more indicates high blood
pressure or hypertension.
The display backlight will change colour from green (optimal to normal), to yellow (high normal
value) to red (mild hypertension, moderate hypertension to severe hypertension). The colour
change is to be read in conjunction with the indicator bars.
