SECTION 02
The hair dryer is fitted with an automatic overheating
protection device. In the event of the unit overheating
the hair dryer will switch off. Unplug the unit from the
mains and allow to cool. The hair dryer can be used
again once cooled, but first check the air intake grilles
to make sure they are not obstructed by fluff, hair, etc.
In keeping with other manufacturer’s of domestic
appliances, we recommend that when not in use the
product should be switched off at the mains supply
only.
When the hair dryer is used in the bathroom, unplug it
after use as the proximity of the water presents a
hazard even when the hair dryer is switched off.
For additional protection, the installation of a residual
current device (RCD) having a residual operating
current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the
electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your
installer for advise.
