IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
DO’S
• Ensure your mains supply rating corresponds with that stated on the
rating label fixed to the appliance before making any connections.
• Check the product and the supply cord for damage regularly.
• Check that the voltage rating of this appliance matches that of
your supply.
• Only use this appliance for its intended use as described in this manual.
• Always disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply after use
and before carrying out cleaning or maintenance.
• Keep the appliance out of reach from children, particularly during use
and cool down.
• Always unplug the hair dryer after use.
• Always place the appliance with the stand, if any, on a heat-resistant,
stable, flat surface.
• Keep the supply cord away from heated surfaces.
• Close supervision is neccesary when the appliance is used by, on, or
near children.
• Attachents may get hot in use. Use care when handling them.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, it’s service agent or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid any hazards.
• The hair dryer must be fixed out of reach of a person taking a bath
or shower.
• The appliance must be fixed so that the hand-held part, when fully
extended, is out of reach of a person taking a bath or shower.

DON’TS
• WARNING Do not use this appliance near
bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels
containing water.
• Do not use the product outdoors or in the presence of aerosols.
• Never cover the air intake grille at the rear of the hairdryer, or
place it on a soft surface where the air intake may be covered.
Keep air intake free of dust and hair etc.
• Do not insert any objects into the air intake grille.
• Never use the appliance with wet hands and keep away from
sources of water.
• Never use the product if the supply cord or plug is damaged
or if the appliance has been dropped into water. Return the
appliance to a service centre for examination and repair.
• Do not use or store the hair dryer where it can come into
contact with water.
• This hair dryer should never be left unattended when plugged in.
• Do not pull or wrap the supply cord around the
hairdryer.
• Do not direct the hot air towards the eyes or other sensitive areas.
• If the appliance falls into water, UNPLUG IT IMMEDIATELY. Do not reach
into the water until the power has been disconnected.
• Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not put the hair dryer down while operating.

IMPORTANT!
This appliance is not to be used by persons, incuding children, with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand
the hazards involved.
Children being supervised are not to play with the appliance.
When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the
proximity of water presents a hazard, even when the appliance is
switched off.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
Check the appliance and the supply cord for damage regularly. If the
supply cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, it’s service agent a suitably qualified person using the
same rated cable in order to avoid any hazards. Do not attempt to
make repairs to the appliance yourself, always contact a qualified
technician.
For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device
(RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is
advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your
installer for advice.
The hair dryer is fitted with an automatic overheating protection device.
In the event of the unit overheating the hair dryer will switch off. Unplug
the unit from the mains and allow to cool. The hair dryer can be used
again once cooled, but first check the air intake grilles to make sure
they are not obstructed by fluff, hair, etc.
In keeping with other manufacturer’s of domestic appliances, we
recommend that when not in use the product should be switched off at
the mains supply only.

• When wall mounting the product, always check that there are no
water, gas or electrical cables/pipes within or behind the walls.
• Ensure the mains supply is switched off before commencing any
electrical installation.
• The electrical installation should be carried out in accordance with
current wiring regulations. If in doubt on any part, please seek advice
from a qualified electrician.
• Some hair dryers are double insulated and does not require an Earth
(ground) connection.
• Connection of the unit to the elctrical supply by fixed wiring should
be made with cable suitable for a 13A loading.
• When the unit is to be permanently connected to the fixed wiring, a
suitable means for all-pole disconnection (contact separation of at
least 3mm) should be incorporated (e.g. a switched fuse spur fitted
with a 13A rated fuse).

INSTALLATION (WALL-MOUNTED)
Mark the wall with a
pencil to indicate the
location of the bracket.
Use a drill and 6mm
masonary bit to drill a
hole on the marked point.
Insert a wall plug into the
hole and secure the
bracket as shown using
a small screw.
Hang the base unit on the bracket. Align the product
with a spirit level and mark with a pencil through the
bottom hole.
Unhook the base unit
and drill into the wall at
the marked point.
Insert a wall plug into the
hole.
Re-hang the base unit and screw the large screw into
the hole. Cover the screw hole with the screw cap.

INSTALLATION (WITH RESERVED WIRE)
Follow ‘WALL MOUNTED’
instructions numbers 1 to 6.
To remove the cover, first
remove the hand piece
and unscrew the 4
screws from the cover.
Drill a hole where the
cable needs to enter the
cable entry point.
Pull the reserved wire
through the entry hole
and connect to the
terminal.

unit to be un-hooked
and unclipped from the

INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. When wall mounting the product, always check that there are no water,
gas or electrical cables/pipes within or behind the wall.
2. Ensure the mains supply is switched off before commencing any electrical
installation.
3. The electrical installation should be carried out in accordance with current
wiring regulations. If in doubt on any part, please seek advice from a
qualified electrician.
4. Ensure your mains supply rating corresponds with that stated on the rating
label fixed to the hair dryer.
5. The hair dryer is double insulated and does not require an Earth (ground)

6. The hair dryer must be fixed so that the base unit and the hand held part,
when fully extended, is out of reach of a person taking a bath or shower.

WALL MOUNTED (external cable routing)
1. Remove the screw located at the bottom of
the holder as shown in Fig. 1, then remove the
cover.
2. Offer the holder to the wall and mark the wall
with a pencil through the fixing points shown
in Fig. 2.
Note: Use a spirit level to ensure the holder is
installed accurately.
Note: If fitting the product to plaster board with a
cavity behind then propriety wall fixings (not
supplied) will be required.
3. Using an electric drill and a 6mm masonry bit,
drill holes at the marked points.
4. Insert wall plugs.
5. Align the holder to the holes and screw into
position.
6. Replace the cover.
7. Fit plug or connect to a fixed fused spur.
WALL MOUNTING (internal reserved wire cable
routing)
1. Follow the points 1 - 5.
2. Route the mains cord through one of the two
entry points (Fig. 2) and connect to the
terminals.

USE
SETTINGS
The air flow and temperature can be adjusted using the switches located on the
handle of the hair dryer.
Heat Setting
C Cooler Blow (not applicable to all models)
1/Min Normal Heat
2/Max High Heat
(1) Use heat setting 1/Min for gentle drying and styling.
(2) Use heat setting 2/Max for fast drying or pre-drying.
(3) After drying hair, use heat setting C, if available, to set style with a continuous
flow of cooler air.
IMPORTANT
If the appliance overheats, it will switch off automatically. Unplug the
appliance and let it cool down for a few minutes. Before you switch the
appliance on again, check the grilles to make sure they are not obstruct-
ed by fluff, hair, etc.
DRYING
1. Put the plug in the wall socket (if required).
2. Select the desired heat using the control on the handle.
3. Switch the appliance on by holding the on/off button, or using the speed
control on the handle.
4. Dry your hair by making brushing movements while holding the dryer at a short
distance from your hair.
ATTACHMENTS
Some models are supplied with attachements.
Concentrator - the concentrator attachment enables the directing of airflow to a
more specific area of hair. Connect the concentrator by simply clicking it onto the
appliance. Disconnect it by pulling it off.
Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
STORAGE
Allow the hair dryer to cool after use and store in a dry location. Never wrap the
power cord around the hair dryer.
CARE
When cleaning, or storing away, always pull out the plug from the socket outlet. Never
yank the cord to disconnect from the outlet, instead grasp the plug and pull to
disconnect.
This appliance should be cleaned with a dry cloth. Remove the concentrator from the
hair dryer before cleaning. Never rinse the appliance with water.

PLUG REPLACEMENT
(for product fitted with BS plug)
This appliance is supplied with a BS1363 3 pin plug fitted with a 13 Amp fuse. Should
the fuse require replacement, it must be replaced with a fuse rated at 13 Amp and
approved to BS1362.
In the event the mains plug has to be removed/replaced for any reason, please
note:

THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
As the colours may not correspond with the markings identifying the terminals in your
plug proceed as follows.
• The green and yellow earth wire must be connected to the terminal in the
plug which is marked with the letter E or with the earth symbol
• The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N
• The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L
IMPORTANT- any cut off plug should be disposed of safely
to prevent hazard. There is a danger of electric shock if a cut
off plug is inserted into a socket outlet.

GUARANTEE
For your convenience, you are not required to complete a form and return it to
us in order to validate your guarantee. However, please ensure that you retain
your receipt which will act as both proof of purchase and a guarantee
validation document. We recommend that you attach your receipt to this
documentation.
Your product carries a minimum 12 month guarantee from the date that the
original purchaser receives it. If your product fails to operate to its specification
due to faulty workmanship or materials during the guarantee period, we will
either repair or replace the product. We will use our discretion to determine as
to whether a repair is offered or replacement provided. The product will not be
covered by the guarantee if it has been misused, transformed, modified or
altered in any way.
If your product fails within the guarantee period please ensure that you have all
necessary documentation available including proof or purchase (receipt or
invoice with serial number, location and date of purchase) in addition to all
