Multi-functional Kettle CMC-E120S

GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1) Do not touch hot surfaces and please use handle and knob.
2) To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons DO NOT IMMERSE
CORD, PLUG OR BASE UNIT in water or other liquids.
3) Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
4) Unplug from outlet when not in used and before cleaning.
5) Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning appliance.
6) Do not operate any appliance with a damage cord or plug.
7) Do not use outdoor.
8) Do not let power cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
9) Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
10) Always fill the kettle with water first, then set the appliance on to the power base,
and finally plug cord into wall outlet. To disconnect, remove kettle body from
power base, then remove plug from the wall outlet.
11) Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewing cycle.
12) This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as :
-staff kitchen area in shops, offices and other working environments.
-by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments.
-bed and breakfast type environments.
13) This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TO FILL
Fill the maximum level as marked on outside body of the kettle.
DO NOT OVERFILL
As water may overflow upon boiling
BOILING WATER
1. Place the kettle with the spout facing away from you. Gently lift off the lid.
2. Fill the kettle with water not exceeding the MAX FILL level as indicated.
3. Close the lid and position the spout away from you.
4. Place kettle on power base, ensure the kettle sits securely on the power base.
5. Power “ON”. Turn on the thermostat switch and choose the desired temperature.
6. Power “OFF”. Turn the switch to the lowest position with the indicator light off.
NOTE: The kettle can be switch off at any time before the water boils simply by
lifting the kettle off the base.
7. Pour and serve.
COOKING INSTANT NOODLE
1. Add in appropriate amount of water into the pot.
2. Place the kettle on power base, ensure the kettle sits securely on the power base.
3. Power “ON”. Turn on the thermostat switch and choose the desired temperature.
4. Put in noodle and ingredients once water is boiled.
5. When instant noodle is cooked, Power “OFF” the kettle and you are ready enjoy.
STEAMING FOOD (STEAMER RACK)
1. Add in appropriate amount of water into the pot.
2. Place the kettle on power base, ensure the kettle sits securely on the power base.
3. Insert the stainless steel stand into the kettle.
4. Place food into the steamer bowl and place on the stand.
5. Cover kettle with the glass lid.
6. Power “ON”, Turn on the thermostat switch and choose the desired temperature.
7. When food is ready, Power “OFF” the kettle and serve.

STEAMING FOOD (STAINLESS STEEL STEAMER)
1. Add in appropriate amount of water into the pot.
2. Place the kettle on power base, ensure the kettle sits securely on the power base.
3. Place the stainless steel steamer onto the kettle body.
4. Place into the stainless steel steamer.
5. Cover kettle with the glass lid.
6. Power “ON”, Turn on the thermostat switch and choose the desired temperature.
7. When food is ready, Power “OFF” the kettle and serve.
CLEANING
1. Fill the kettle with water add 5ml of white vinegar to boil for 5-10 minutes.
2. Switch off, remove plug, empty kettle then re-clean a few times to remove
particles.
3. If there is discoloration of the kettle or reddish rust spots stains, it may be due to
the contents of tap water or oxidising of iron content in tap water. It can be
removed by frequent wash by cutting lemon and boil in the kettle.
4. Boil and keep warm for a while, pour out water and use a sponge to clean the pot.
5. Boil water again to remove the smell of lemon.
6. Or the use of stainless steel cleaner will remove the stain. Pour stainless steel
cleaner on a wet sponge and rub on the spotted area and rinse.
7. Boil water again and dispose the water.
CAUTIONS
1. Always disconnect form the main supply before boiling or emptying the kettle and
always switch off power point when not in use.
2. Never immerse kettle or power base in water or allow water to come into contact
with the terminal pins.
3. Do not let power cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
