5.2 Into a 144-ber Cabinet
Step 1: Use the 216B tool or 7/16-in nutdriver to open the cabinet door (Figure 3).
Step 2: Remove the plastic door and brackets as shown in Figure 8.

Step 3: Follow Steps 2 through 9 of Section 5.1 to install the plate, splitter box and splitters
into the 144-ber cabinet.
NOTE: In the 144-ber cabinet, additional splitters must have a leg length of 30 in.

From front of cabinet,
remove the brackets
shown.
From front of cabinet,
remove the screw
holding the plastic door.
Loosen captive
fastener and remove
door from the brackets.
