Introduction
On Thursday, November 17th, 2011 from 12am to2am, Sky Pacific's downlink frequencies will be
undergoing changes as we move from satellite Intelsat701 to Intelsat 18.
This manual is designed to provide simple, easy to follow instructions to Sky Pacific subscribers, who
are unable to access the scheduled OTA (Over the Air) software upgrade. The purpose for this
instructional manual is to guide the customer, step by step, on how to change the frequency settings
manually on his set-top box or decoder.

(A) How to manually change the frequency settings on your Coship decoder
1. PressMENU on the remote, select INSTALLATION, select ADVANCED INSTALLATION, press OK.
2. Press the Yellow Button on the remote for TP EDIT
3. Press the Right Button on the remote (located above the Back Button).
4. Enter the numbers 03905 then press the Blue Down Button (located beside the Blue Back Button).
5. Enter the numbers 43404, press the Blue Down Button 3 times until FEC Rate: 2/3 is highlighted.
PressLeft Button once to get ½.
6. PressBack Button, press OK. A Red Tick Sign should appear.
7. Press the Red Button on the remote to scan channels.

8. Reboot your decoder - switch it off, turn off themain power source or power point, remove the
decoder plug from thepower point,insertit in again,switchon themain powerthen switchon your
decoder.
9. Wait for the Scan message to complete and check through all the channels for a clear signal.
10. Check the channel numbering.
What to do if channels have 00 or no numbering:
1. PressMENU on the remote, select INSTALLATION, select ADVANCED INSTALLATION,press OK.
2. PressYellow Button on the remote for TP EDIT
3. Check Left column on the screen.If there arenumbers onthe first and 2nd fields or rows, select the
2nd row then press the Blue button, next to the Yellow button, to deleteTP.
4. Select and press OK for the pop-upmessage
5. PressMENU to view channels.

How to confirm that your Coship decoder has saved the new frequency software:
1. PressMENU on your remote - MAIN MENU will appear.
2. Go to INFORMATION, select SYSTEM INFORMATION
3. Press OK. The IRD Version will change toCOSHIP N6760B V121 if the software upgrade is
successful.

Note: DMT model 1551 has buttons
onthe frontpanel and DMTmodel
1550has no buttons on the front
panel. Both models do not have any
electronic display panel.

(B) How to manually change the frequency settings on your DMT decoder
1. PressMENU on the remote.
2. Enter the numbers 2580 -CONFIGURATION 1 will appear on the TV screen. Press OK, then enter the
numbers 003905, in the field under the FREQUENCY tab.Press OK.
3. Press OK, then enter the numbers 43404 in the field under the SYMBOL RATE tab.

4. Press OK on DONE to save the new settings and the decoder will reboot automatically.
How to confirm that your DMT decoder has saved the new frequency software:
1. Press MENU on the remote
2. Select MAIN MENU, go to SYSTEM MENU, press OK.
3. Select INSTALLATION, press OK.

4. Select SYSTEM INFO, press OK.
5. Check the Software Version No. It should change from 2.5.2.16, 2.5.2.20 or 2.5.2.24 to 2.5.2.28.
6. Also check the the LAST SYSTEM UPDATE – it should be any date after Nov 8 2011.
