Please read and save these instructions. Read carefully before attempting to assemble, install, operate or maintain the product described. Protect
yourself and others by observing all safety information. Failure to comply with instructions could result in personal injury and/or property damage! Retain
instructions for future reference. Assembly and installation of the track stop can be inherently dangerous. Take all precautions necessary during
assembly and installation.
Cotterman®Workmaster®
Description
The Cotterman®Workmaster®Super Duty Ladder is built with extra heavy duty components to withstand all the dings and bumps
in harsh work environments and provide a safe climb for working in elevated positions.
The Workmaster is comprised of the stile (Detail A), the base panel (Detail B), the back panel (Detail C), ½-13X 3” bolts (Detail
D), and ½” nylon insert hex nuts (Detail E). The 11 and 12 step Workmaster ladders also include braces (Detail F), and ½-13 X
1 ¼” HHCS (Detail G).

1) ¾” Wrench

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
1. Read and understand these instructions fully before installing, assembling or using these ladders.
2. Assembly and installation of these types of ladders can be inherently dangerous. Take all precautions necessary during
assembly.
3. Always use a separate ladder or scaffold to finish assembly in high places.
4. Never climb a ladder that is not completely assembled.
5. Do not assemble, install or use a ladder with missing or damaged parts.
6. Use proper lifting mechanics when assembling a ladder.
7. Watch for and avoid overhead electrical hazards and obstructions.
Failure to heed these warnings may result in serious injury or death to installation personnel, ladder users, or
bystanders.
Step 1
Lay the Ladder on it’s back and use a hoist to lift the stile (A).
Step 2
Once the stile (A) is lifted to the point where the base panel
(B) can freely swing through the stile (B) mounting holes then
bolt the base panel to the stile using the (2) ½-13 x 3” HHCS
(D) and ½-13 Hex Nuts (E).
Step 3
Bolt on the left and right side braces (if provided) using the ½-
13 X 1 ¼” HHCS (Detail G) and 1/2-13 Hex Nuts (Detail E) to
the back panel. Tighten the bolts that connect the stile to the
back and the bolts that connect the base to the back panel.
