FUEL SAFETY
•Mix and pourfuel outdoors.
•Keep away from sparksor flames.

•Move at least 10 feet (3 meters) away

CUTTING SAFETY
_' WARNING: Inspect the area be-
fore each use. Remove objects
(rocks, broken glass, nails, wire, etc.)
which can be thrownby or become
entangled in line. Hard objects can
damage the tdmmer head and be
throwncausing serious Injury.
•Use only for trimming,scalping,mew-
ing and sweeping.Do notusefor edg-
•ing, pruningor hedgetrimming.
Keep firmfooting and balance. Do not
overreach.
•Keep all partsof yourbodyaway from
mufflerand spinningline. Keep engine
belowwaist level.A hotmufflercan
cause sedousbums.
• Cut from your left to your dght. Cutting
on dghtside of the shield will throw
debris away from the operator.
•Use only in daylight or good artificial
• light.

manual.
TRANSPORTING AND STORAGE
• Allow engine to cool; secure unit be-
fore storing or transporting in vehicle.
•Empty the fuel tank before storing or
transporting the unit. Use up fuel left
in the carburetor by starting the en-
gine and letting it run until it stops.
•Store unit and fuel in area where fuel
vapors cannot reach sparks or open
flames from water heaters, electric
motors or switches, furnaces, etc.
