BLADE
CHANGING:
Unplugthe
saw.Push
and
hold
thespindlelock
to
stopbladerotation.
While
holding
thespindlelock
lever,insert
the 3/ro"
hex
wrench
(provided)
into
the
blade's
socketset screw
andturnitcounter-clock-
wiseto loosen.
Note:For
extraleverage,
insert
anex-
tensiontubeontothe hexwrench.
Replace
withnew
blade
and
retighten
the
screw
firmly
before
use. Make
surespindlelockis
pulled
outbeforeturning
sawon.
OPERATING:
Toavoidaccidentalstart-
ing,DISCONNECT
THE
SAW FROM POWER
SOU
RCE
beforeinserting
thecutting head
intothe
toe-space
(see
Figure
1).
Plug-in
the saw. Grasp
the
handles
firmly
and
pull
thetrigger.Press
down
on
the
handles
to
plunge
the
blade
into
thecut.Slowly
push
the
saw
foruard
and
alongthe toe-kick
(see
Figure2).
Donotforcethesaw; let
thebladecutatthehigh-
est
RPM
possible.
Asyou complete
thecut,
release
the trigger
and
make sure the motor
comestoafull stopbefore
removingthe saw from
thetoe-space.
The Toe-Kick
Saw may
alsobeusedtoenlargethe
expansion
gap
around
the
perimeter
ofa laminate
plank
floor
(see
Figure
3).
MAINTENANGE:
lf
thesawis
dropped,theblade
guard
maybe
bent,
restrict-
ing
the
full
returnofthe
blade
guard.
With
thecord
unplugged,
checkoperation
oftheblade
guard
beforeeach
use.
