USING
THE
SAW:
r Makesurethe bladeclamp
nut and handle
screwsare
tightenedsecurely.
r Alwayskeepthehandleinthe
vertical
position
for general
undercutting.
r Turnthe handle
awayfrom
thetoe kickfor undercutting
toespaces
(see
figure
8).
r Plug-inthe saw and grasp
handlefirmly. Depressthe
safety
lockbutton,thenpull
thepower
switch.

cut

push
sawinto
the
corneras
shown

WARNING:
Depth
gauge
coversthe
bladeandmakes
the
saw
safer
to use.Always
unplugsawandre-install
depth
gauge
when
youaredonewithinside
corner
cutting.

r Openthe doorto the maximum,
awayfrom
thecase-
ments.
Workfromtheinside
of
the
door
outward,
away
fromthe hinges.Toavoidsplintering
veneer
doors,it
may be advisableto scorethe veneer
surface
at the
desiredheight
of the cut, prior
to usingthe saw. An
application
of wide maskingtape in the cuttingzone
alsohelpsreduce
splintering,
andwillprotect
thesaw
housing
from
scratchingthe
veneer.
r NOTE:The
maximum
thickness
of cut is 15/8",
which
is
adequateformost
doors.Check
for
adequate
depth
of cut before
starting.Thicker
doorsmayrequire
cuts
from both sidesof the door. Take
carenotto leave
a
thinremnant
of dooron the opposite
side,whichcan
easily
breakoff
andcrackthe
veneer.
Also,
checkthat
the
floor
is
at
the
same
elevation
onboth
sidesofthe
door,or
add
itional.
