
CHANGING THE BATTERIES
Need to change the batteries? Ask an adult to get new LR44 button batteries and follow these
instructions. (LR44 batteries can usually be found in the photo and electronics sections of major
retailers, pharmacies, and grocery stores.)
To replace unicorn head or feet batteries:
Openeachpouchandtakeoutthebatterycase(donotdisconnectwires).Usingascrewdriver,
remove the battery door. Insert new batteries. Replace door and tighten screw. Put the case back
inside the pouch, arrow-side rst.
BATTERY SAFETY
• Donotputthebatteriesinbackwards.Positive(+)andnegative(-)endsmustbeinsertedin
thecorrectdirectionsfollowingthepolarity(+/-)diagraminthebatterycompartment.
• Donotmixalkaline,standard(carbon-zinc),orrechargeable(nickel-cadmium)batteries.
• Onlybatteriesofthesameorequivalenttypeasrecommendedaretobeused.
• Donotmixoldandnewbatteries.
• Rechargeablebatteriesmustberemovedbeforerecharging.
• Rechargeablebatteriesmustberechargedbyanadultonly.
• Batteriesmustbeinstalledandremovedbyanadultonly.
• Removeexhaustedbatteriesanddisposeofthemproperly.
• Donottrytorechargenon-rechargeablebatteries.
• Thesupplyterminalsarenottobeshort-circuited.

device,pursuanttoPart15oftheFCCrulesandEMCregulations.Conformstotherequirements
ofEN50088andICES-003/NMB-003.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotection
