CS provides a warranty for this product of 24 months covering the material and workmanship
under the stated operating conditions from the date of delivery.
Please report any findings immediately and within the warranty time guaranteed by us.
Excluded from this warranty is damage caused by improper use and non-adherence to the
instruction manual.
The warranty is also cancelled once the measuring instrument has been opened provided this
is not described in the instruction manual for maintenance purposes. This is also the case if
the serial number has been changed, damaged or removed.
If in addition to the warranty service necessary repairs, adjustments or similar are carried out,
the warranty services are free of charge but there is a charge for other services such as
transport and packing costs. Other claims, especially those for damage occurring outside the
instrument are not included unless responsibility is legally binding.
ATTENTION: Batteries have a reduced warranty time of 12 months.

The operating instructions must be read in full and carefully observed before starting up the de-
vice. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any damage which occurs as a result of non-
observance or non-compliance with this manual.
Should the device be tampered with in any manner other than a procedure which is described
and specified in the manual, the warranty is cancelled and the manufacturer is exempt from liabil-
ity.
CS-iTEC is not liable for errors which may have slipped into this operating manual.
• CS 305 is designed to meet state-of-the-art safety requirements, has been tested, and left
the factory in a condition in which it is safe to operate. Relevant regulations and European
standards have been observed.
• The wiring of the device has to be done correctly in accordance with the wiring diagrams.
• Observe the technical data on the nameplate!
• Do not exceed the pressure range of 1.5 MPa.
• Observe permissible storage, transport and operating temperatures.

4. Sensor change
The sensor unit may need to be changed in service cases. For this purpose the CS 305 has to
be opened and the sensor cable should be removed at the display terminal first as indicated
below. Please ensure that the power supply is cut off before opening the casing!
The sensor unit can now be screwed out of
the measuring chamber.
Remove the green terminal connector from the
old sensor and connect it to the new sensor.

Connect the power supply cable as indi-
cated in the picture. Please refer to the
display user guide for the terminal connec-
tions.
The second cable gland can be used for
alarm and signal cables.
After the wiring is done, the CS 305 can
be closed with 4 screws.
Use the covers to close the screw open-
ings.
Connect the compressed air through a 6
mm hose (we recommend Teflon).
CS 305 will produce a small compressed
air bleeding of about 2 l/min. This is re-
quired to have a good response time.

4. Installation
The instrument is mounted at a wall. Please follow the installation steps as described below.
For the wall mounting please first mount the
brackets to the bottom of the casing as indi-
cated in the picture

Connect the power supply cable as indi-
cated in the picture. Please refer to the
