•Communication between modules has marginal signal strength.
-Moving modules is recommended, typically the indoor alarm module.
• Move alarms closer to each other or put in a different location.
-Maximum distance between modules should be 200ft.
-Steel buildings and other structures can interfere with signal strength.
3 red blinking LEDs and CSION®/WiFi Alarming
Alarm modules are not communicating with each other, the modules have not communicated in the last 15
minutes.
-Repeat Step 3: Test alarm and verify power on both modules.
• If both units fail step 3 and have power, move to the next bullet.
-Moving modules is required, typically the indoor alarm module.
• Move alarm modules closer to each other or put in a different location.
• Maximum distance between modules should be 200ft.
• Steel buildings and other structures can interfere with signal strength.
-If you still have 3 red blinking LEDs, move to the next bullet.
-The modules may need to be paired.
• Press and hold pairing button on panel module for 10 seconds. Within 10 minutes press
and hold pairing button on alarm module for 10 seconds (signal LEDs will flash when in
pairing mode) .
• Upon being paired (typically less than 30 seconds) they will automatically go into setup mode.
•If pairing is unsuccessful, modules are out of range from one another, move units closer to one
another.
• Repeat step 3: Test alarm, after pairing units.
The alarm does not power up with CSION® alarm battery backup:
-CSION® RF alarm does not function on the CSION® alarm battery backup power.
