IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR 10-SPEED BLENDER
This product is intended for use in blending food products.
Do not use this appliance for any other purpose other than intended.
WARNING: Toavoidriskofelectricalshock,burns or injuries, alwaysmakesure the product is
unplugged from the electrical outlet beforedisplacing,servicingorcleaning it.
When using any Blender and toreducetheriskoffire, electricalshock, burns orserious
injury, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
1. Before using this appliance, please check carefully to make sure voltage (AC120V-60Hz) is
compatible with your home and that electrical cord is connected to a properly grounded
electrical outlet of similar voltage. CAUTION: Risk of fire, electric shock, burns or injury if
Blender is not connected as instructed.
2. ALWAYS place appliance on a flat, level and stable surface.
3. Make sure Blender and all controls are in OFF position before inserting plug in electrical
outlet.
4. Do not plug/unplug Blender into/from electrical outlet with wet hands.
5. To disconnect Blender from electrical outlet, pull directly on the plug; do not pull on the
power cord.
6. DO NOT let power cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch any hot surfaces.
7. DO NOT place or use the unit or any parts on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a
heated oven, or on stove top.
8. This appliance should not be used by or near children, or persons with certain disabilities.
9. Thisproductisequippedwithapolarizedplug(onebladeiswiderthan theother
blade) as a safety feature to reduce theriskofelectricalshock and fire. This plug will fit
intoapolarized outlet only one way. If you are unable toinserttheplugintothe electrical
outlet,tryreversingtheplug. If the plug still does notfit,contact a qualified electrician.
Never use the plug with an extension cord unless the plug canbefully inserted into the
extension cord, making sure the electrical rating of the extension cord is at least as great as
the electrical rating of this appliance (listed on the bottom panel of the unit). Do not alter
plug.Donotattempttodefeatthe safety purpose of the polarizedplug.
10. DO NOT operate this or any other appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
the appliance malfunctions, has been damaged in any way or if Base/Motor has been
immersed in water or other liquid. Send the unit to the nearest Authorized Service Center
for inspection, repair or adjustment. (ONLY qualified technicians should repair the unit).
11. To avoid risk of electrical shock, fire or injuries: DO NOT immerse in or expose Base/
Motor, electrical cord or plug to water or other liquid.
12. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from entanglement
or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord may be used with care; however, be sure
the marked electrical rating is at least as great as the electrical rating of this appliance
(listed on the bottom panel of the unit). The extension cord should be positioned such that
it does not drape over the counter or table top where it can be pulled on by children or
tripped over. DO NOT use an outlet or extension cord if the plug fits loosely. DO NOT use
extension cord if electrical cord feels hot.

13. Keep electrical and extension cords away from appliance and any hot parts and surfaces of the
appliance during use.
14. The use of any accessories or attachments (including canning jars) not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause injury.
15. Always use Control Buttons to operate unit.
16. CAUTION: Keep hands and utensils out of Pitcher while blending. DO NOT attempt to
dislodge food when Blender is in operation or plugged in. A spatula/scraper may be used but
ONLY when blender is not running and unplugged.
17. Blender contains exposed sharp metal blades. Use EXTREME CAUTION when handling and
cleaning metal blades.
18. When Hot Liquid is in Blender, use EXTREME CAUTION when removing Lid. DANGER:
STEAM ESCAPING FROM BLENDER CAN CAUSE BURNS, SCALDING & SERIOUS INJURIES.
19. ALWAYS operate blender with cover in place. NEVER remove Lid when Blender is in
operation.
20. When blending hot liquids, DO NOT remove center piece of two-piece cover.
21. DO NOT move this or any appliance containing HOT food, liquid or other.
22. Avoid contact with moving parts.
23. Make sure Blender is in OFF position and unplugged before adding or removing parts.
24. Do not attempt to place the Pitcher onto the Base while the motor is running. Do not attempt
to remove the Pitcher from the Base while the motor is running.
25. Attach Blades to the Pitcher correctly before putting Pitcher onto Base. To reduce the risk of
injury, never place Blades on Base without Pitcher properly attached.
26. After operating continuously for three minutes, wait at least one minute before operating the
product again to help prevent the motor from overheating.
27. Do not run motor while Pitcher is empty.
28. Unplug the unit before handling and cleaning.
29. Unplug power cord from outlet when not in use. Clean and cover the unit and store in a dry
place if not being used for an extended period of time.
30. This appliance is NOT recommended for outdoor use.
31. DO NOT fill Blender more than ⁄ full with food or liquid.
32. If Blender malfunctions during use, shut down unit IMMEDIATELY and discontinue use. DO
NOT attempt to open any part of the base. This product has no user-serviceable parts. Always
contact authorized Service Center if unit malfunctions or for service. DO NOT use or replace
with any unauthorized parts not intended for this unit. All parts for this appliance must be used
according to Instruction Manual. ONLY use manufacturer approved parts from authorized
Service Center. Any other parts or accessories not intended for use with this appliance is strictly
prohibited and will void warranty.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT LEAVE APPLIANCE UNATTENDED WHEN IN USE
OR WHEN APPLIANCE CONTAINS HOT FOOD OR LIQUID. ALWAYS SUPERVISE CHILDREN
WHEN THEY ARE NEAR APPLIANCE. DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO OPERATE OR BE NEAR THE
APPLIANCE WHEN IN USE. CAUTION: BURNS, INJURY AND/OR FIRE MAY RESULT FROM NON-
COMPLIANCE WITH ALL OPERATING PROCEDURES DESCRIBED IN INSTRUCTION MANUAL.

ASSEMBLING BLENDER
CAUTION: To avoid damage to Blender or serious personal injury:
DO NOT operate or plug Blender into electrical outlet until Blender is completely assembled.
Blades are very sharp, handle with utmost care. DO NOT let children touch Blades.
1. Ensure Blender is unplugged from electrical outlet.
2. Place Base on a flat, level & stable surface.
3. Wash Pitcher in hot soapy water and dry.
4. Ensure Silicone Washer is fully in place around base of Blade Attachment Section just
above locking tabs.
5. Insert Blade Attachment Section into bottom of Pitcher and turn clockwise (as indicated
by arrows on bottom of Blade Attachment Section) until locking tabs of Blade Attachment
Section have fully locked into place with bottom of Pitcher.
6. Place Pitcher onto Base making sure Motor Drive
Coupling and fittings located on top of the Base/Motor
are aligned.
7. Twist Pitcher counterclockwise until locking tabs of
Base and Pitcher have fully locked into place and
arrows on Base and Pitcher are aligned.
NOTE: To lock Pitcher to Base, place Base with
10-Speed Control Panel facing you. Locate arrow at
the top left of the Base under locking tab. With Pitcher
handle facing on the right side of the Base, twist
Pitcher counterclockwise to align Base arrow with
arrow located on left bottom side of Pitcher, across the
side from the Handle.
8. Place Lid on top of Pitcher and secure it into position.
NOTE: Pitcher handle has a slide release mechanism to hold Lid to Pitcher. Make sure Lid is
always securely in place on top of Pitcher before operating Blender.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Wash ingredients to be blended and cut them into pieces small enough to fit into
Removable Filler Cap Feeding Hole.
2. Once cleaned and cut, add ingredients into Blender through Feeding Hole. NOTE: Pitcher
has a six cup (48 oz. / 1.5 liter) capacity. Do not overload Pitcher. Do not fill more than ⁄
full with food or liquid.
3. After filling the Pitcher with ingredients, secure Lid into position. Plug Blender into a
standard 120-volt AC electrical outlet.
4. Push desired blender speed button “LOW” or “HIGH”, then select function button:
PULSE, BLEND, GRIND, LIQUEFY, ICE CRUSH. Note: Both Blender Speed & Function
buttons must be pushed in or Blender will not operate.

LOW-SPEED PULSE (Low + Pulse)
STIR (Low + Blend)
PURÉE (Low + Grind)
CHOP (Low + Liquefy)
GRATE (Low + Ice Crush)
HIGH-SPEED PULSE (High + Pulse)
BLEND ( High + Blend)
GRIND ( High + Grind)
LIQUEFY (High + Liquefy)
ICE CRUSH (High + Ice Crush)
CAUTION: Never operate motor for more than a few minutes at a time. Select and depress
Blender speed & function buttons, run for a minute or two, then turn unit “OFF” and allow motor
to cool for a few seconds. Press Blender speed & function buttons again until desired results are
achieved. DO NOT use Blender for blending heavy foods or thick mixtures.
NOTE: PULSE Button can be used for more control during short processing jobs to run Blender
motor at”LOW” or “HIGH” speed. When finished processing ingredients with “PULSE” Button
feature, release “PULSE” Button, then push “OFF” button to turn off Blender.
5. To turn off Blender, press “OFF” Button on the 10-Speed Control Panel.
6. Unplug Blender from electrical outlet when finished blending ingredients, when the
product is not in use, or if leaving unattended. CAUTION: Always unplug Blender from
electrical outlet before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning it.
If Blender motor does not run freely while blending ingredients, perform one or more of the
following steps, as necessary:
1. Press “OFF” Button and add water/liquid to ingredients blending.
2. Press “HIGH” Speed Button then “PULSE” Button for a few minutes until motor blends freely.
3. Press “OFF” Button, unplug Blender from electrical outlet and use a rubber spatula/scraper
to clear the sides of the Pitcher and push the ingredients toward Blades.
4. Reduce the amount of ingredients inside Pitcher.

NOTES

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• DO NOT place Pitcher and Lid into dishwasher or extremely hot water.
• Clean the product immediately after each use.
• DO NOT put your hands in Pitcher while Blades are still attached.
• Disassemble Blender before cleaning by removing: Pitcher from Base, Lid, Blade
Attachment Section from Pitcher.
• Use a small toothbrush (not included) to remove particles of food lodged underneath
Blades.
• Clean exterior surface of Base with a soft, damp cloth and wipe dry.
• DO NOT immerse in or expose Base/Motor, electrical cord or plug to water or other
liquid.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean any parts of the Blender.
• To clean Pitcher, add ¼ teaspoon of liquid soap to Pitcher and fill with warm water. Place
Pitcher on Base and press PULSE Button several times for a few seconds. Remove Pitcher
from Base and rinse Pitcher under running water.
• Dry all product parts thoroughly before storing.
• Store Blender & parts in a clean, dry place with Lid removed from Pitcher.

LIMITED ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY
This appliance is warranted to be free from any manufacturing defects under
normal use and conditions for one (1) year from date of purchase. During that
period, should the appliance fail to operate properly, return the appliance
with your sales receipt to the store where purchased. This product warranty
covers only the original consumer purchase of the product. During the
applicable warranty period, we will repair or replace, at our discretion, any
mechanical or electrical part which proves defective, or replace unit with a
similar or comparable model. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties and
representation, expressed or implied, and all other obligations or liabilities on
our part.
FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY • NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE
This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damages from
improper installation, defects other than manufacturing defects, damages
from misuse, abuse, accident, negligence, alteration, lack of proper care and
maintenance, or incorrect current or voltage. This warranty shall not apply to
any appliance that has been repaired or altered by other than an Authorized
Dealer or Service Center.
If unit malfunctions, do not use the appliance
and contact nearest Authorized Service Center.
