Introduction : Carefully read and understand this manual and any label
attached to the tool before use. Keep these instructions with the product
for future reference.Ensure all persons who use and service this product

Incorrect operation and improper use can damage the appliance and
cause injury to the user.
The appliance may be used only for its intended purpose. No responsibility
can be taken for any possible damage caused through incorrect use or
improper handling.
Before connecting the appliance to the power source, check that the
current and power match those given on the rating plate.
Do not put the appliance or the plug in water or any other liquid. However
should the appliance accidentally fall into water, unplug the appliance
immediately and have it checked by a qualied person before using it
again.
Never attempt to open the housing yourself.
Do not place any kind of object into the inside of the housing.
Do not use the appliance with wet hands, on a damp oor or when the
appliance itself is wet.
Do not touch the plug with wet or damp hands.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications
such as:
-sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working environments
-farm houses
-by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments

Check the cord and the plug regularly for any possible damage. If the
cord or plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not use the appliance if it is dropped or otherwise damaged or
if the cord or plug are damaged. In the case of damage, take the
appliance to an electrical repair shop for examination and repair if
necessary.
Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself. This could cause an
electric shock.
Do not allow the cord to hang over sharp edges and keep it well away
from hot objects and naked ames. Remove the plug from the socket
only by holding the plug.
Make sure that there is no danger that the cord or extension cord may
inadvertently be pulled or cause anyone to trip when in use.
If an extension cord is used it must be suited to the power consumption
of the appliance, otherwise overheating of the extension cord and /or
plug may occur.
This appliance is not suitable for commercial use nor for use in the
open air.
Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
Children cannot recognize the dangers involved in the incorrect use
of electrical appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in
use and each time before it is cleaned.
Danger! Nominal voltage is still present in the appliance as long as
the appliance is connected to the mains socket.
Switch the appliance o before disconnecting from the mains.
Never use the cord to carry the appliance.

Please read these Operating Instructions through carefully before
connecting your device to the Mains, in order to avoid damage due to
incorrect use. Please pay particular attention to the safety Information. If
you pass the device on to a third party, these Operating Instructions must
also be handed over.
Remove all packaging material.
Clean the unit before using it for the rst time (see CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE).
There can be some smoke and smell when using it for the rst time.
Residues left over from the Manufacturing process are being burned
on the surface of the unit.

The unit heats up very quickly and cools down only very slowly. Watch
out therefore constantly for hot water and steam emitted during use.
Touch it only on the handles.
Do not use any accessories not supplied with this unit!
Do not place this unit next to hot devices (e.g. next to a cooker or oven).
Caution: The power cord must not touch the hot parts of the unit
during operation!
This unit is suitable only for boiling eggs. Please do not try to heat up
other foodstu with this unit.
Do not operate this unit without the cover (A) and without the egg tray (G).
SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

You can boil up to 7 eggs per cooking session. Please always use
only fresh eggs.
Place the egg tray (G) on the main houing (C).
Make a tiny hole in the small end of the egg using the egg pecker (J).
Please do not use force, otherwise the egg might break.
Caution, Danger of injury: The metal pin of the egg pecker (J) is very
sharp!
You can place only one egg in each of the seven eggs insert. Please
put in the bigger end of the egg into the egg insert.
Now ll in the required quantity of cold, clear water into the measuring
cup (I) .The quantity of water depends upon the number of eggs to be
boiled and the hardness desired (soft, medium or hard boiled). There
are three scales on the measuring cup (I) showing how much water to
use (indications are in English, German and French).
- Scale 1 – soft, weich, mollet Cooking time approx. 5 min.
- Scale 2 – medium, mittel, medium Cooking time approx. 10 min.
- Scale 3 – hard, hart , dur Cooking time approx. 15 min.
Example: If you want to make four soft-boiled eggs, ll water up to the
marking 4 on scale 1.
If the water is very hard, you can add half a teaspoon of vinegar.
Please do not otherwise use any uids other than water. Also, do not
add any additives (such as salt) into the water.
Now pour the water from the measuring cup (I) into the heating
plate (F).Take care not to spill any water on the housing of the main
housing (3)!
Cover the egg tray with the cover (A). Please ensure that egg tray and
cover t properly on the main housing.
Put the switch I O (D) in position O (= Unit o ).

Connect the mains plug through a suitable plug socket and put the
switch O/I (D) in position I. The indicator lamp in the switch O/I (D)
lights up.
The heating plate on the main housing (F) begins to heat up the water
in the water tray.
Caution: parts of the unit become very hot during and after use!
While the unit is in use, touch it only at the handles. Please watch out
particularly for hot water and emitted steam!
Burning hazard: Do not shift the unit while it is in use.
The water is boiling and hot steam escapes through the steam
opening (H).
The cover must not be taken o while eggs are being boiled. Or the
steam would all escapes immediately.
When the water in the water tray has all evaporated, the eggs are
done. An audible signal is emitted. The indicator lamp in the switch
O/I goes o. The hot plate on the main unit now starts cooling o.
Put the switch O/I in position O. The audible signal discontinues. Pull
out the mains plug.
Please lift up cover from the unit carefully. Hold it by the handle of
cover !
Remove the egg tray from the unit by the handle (B). Help the eggs
shrink by holding them under cold, owing water. The eggs are now
ready to serve. Please put back the egg inserts in the eggs tray using
a piece of cloth.
