1.2 Warnings and Precautions
Please read all instructions carefully before operating your Night Navigator
HSC.
This is an image-intensified camera. Each unit is registered for export. An export license may be required
for re-export.
The camera must be returned to your local agent or Current Corporation for repair or calibration.
Opening the unit will void the warranty. Any un-authorized service or repair to the system will void the
warranty.
Current Corporation’s Night Navigator
image intensifier - as with any other night vision intensifier - is
designed to be operated at night and is, therefore, highly sensitive to bright light conditions. Exposure
to continuous high light levels will result in permanent damage to your image intensifier.
Do not point the system at the sun. Damage may occur even when the camera is off.
Do not point the system at bright lights when the Night Vision Camera is on.
Such damage is not covered by warranty.
Please ensure that you read and strictly adhere to the operating instructions and precautions provided.
Current Corporation reserves the right to waive warranty liability if it is determined that the operating
instructions and precautions were not followed.
Warning: This system is not for use as the primary night navigation device.
Warning: The Night Navigatoris an image-intensified system intended for use only at night.
Warning: Use of the image intensifier in the presence of strong light will cause permanent
damage as the bright image will become permanently “burned in”. This type of
damage will void the warranty.
Warning: Exposure to direct sunlight will damage the image intensifier. Damage can occur even
when the camera is off and this is not covered by warranty.
Warning: No user-serviceable parts inside. Do not remove the cover. Refer servicing to
qualified service personnel.
