GEMINI INTELLIFRESH™
Operation/Cleaning Guide
Place a paper filter carefully inside the brew basket and then fill with the appropriate amount of coffee:
1 pack = 1/2 gal (SMALL BREW) 2 packs = 1 gal (MEDIUM BREW) 3 packs = 1.5 gal (LARGE BREW)
Slide the filled brew basket all the way back along its tracks towards the rear of the machine.
Make sure that the satellite you will be brewing into is completely empty.
Place the empty satellite under the brew basket, making sure that the faucet on the satellite is closed. Make sure that
the satellite is positioned fully to rear and secure on brewer deck.
Press the appropriate size “Brew” button and brewing will begin immediately.
The Gemini IF System features a Quality Timer. The Timer is set at 3 hours, during that time the green light on the
satellite will stay lit. After time has expired the green light will flash for an additional 1 hour indicating that it is time to
discard the old coffee and brew fresh coffee. After four hours has passed from the initial brew time, the green light and
warmer will shut off.

FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO ENSURE PROPER COFFEE QUALITY AND TO MAINTAIN SAFETY AT ALL TIMES.
Brewer and Satellite Overview
Brewing Instructions:
1 Packet = 1/2 gallon (SMALL BREW)
2 Packets = 1 gallon (MEDIUM BREW)
3 Packets = 1.5 gallons (LARGE BREW)

To ensure the highest quality, best tasting coffee, your Gemini Satellite brewer must be cleaned daily after the last batch. Regular cleaning and preventive
maintenance is essential in keeping your coffee brewer looking and working like new.
CAUTION – DO NOT USE CLEANSERS, BLEACH LIQUIDS, POWDERS OR ANY OTHER SUBSTANCE CONTAINING CHLORINE. THESE PRODUCTS PROMOTE CORROSION AND
WILL PIT THE STAINLESS STEEL. USE OF THESE PRODUCTS WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.
DAILY CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING – HOT SURFACES. AVOID INJURY, ALLOW THE WARMER DECK TO COOL BEFORE CLEANING.

Remove lid from Satellite. Clean the lid at the funnel area with a spiral brush and detergent solution. Rinse the lid,
removing all traces of cleaning solution.
Unscrew the handle/bonnet assembly and re- move it from the dispensing faucet.
Pull the silicone seat cup from faucet stem and inspect it for wear, cracks, or hardening. Replace the seat cup if
necessary. Clean all parts. Thoroughly rinse with clear warm water. Dry and assemble the handle/bonnet parts. Hand-
tighten the assembly onto the faucet.
Remove the gauge glass tube by unscrewing the gauge glass cap.
Clean the gauge glass tube and the two washers with a gauge brush and detergent solution. Rinse with clear water. Dry
the parts and assemble them onto the Satellite.
Clean inside of the Satellite. Remove coffee resi- due with the detergent solution.
Thoroughly rinse out the Satellite with clear warm water.to discard the old coffee and brew fresh coffee. After four hours
has passed from the initial brew time, the green light and warmer will shut off.
Turn off unit at the power switch, behind the unit. Allow the brewer to cool.
Wipe exterior surfaces with a damp cloth, removing spills and debris.
Slide the brewcone out and clean it. Thoroughly soap the sprayhead area with a mild detergent solution.
Rinse and dry the brewcone and sprayhead area.
Drain drip trays of coffee. Wash the tray and screen with a mild detergent solution.
Dry the tray.
Turn on the unit at the front control panel.

TO CLEAN THE SATELLITE COMPONENTS, PREPARE A MILD SOLUTION OF DETERGENT AND WARM WATER. DO NOT IMMERSE SATELLITE IN WATER
OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
The following tips address some of the most frequently asked service questions regarding coffee brewing. Please use these as quick solution guides
before calling for onsite service.
PROBLEM: Brewing Time Takes Too Long
THINGS TO DO: Check that spray head is not clogged or partially blocked.
PROBLEM: Weak Coffee
THINGS TO DO: Check that coffee is level in the brew basket before brewing.
Check that spray head is not missing.
Check that spray head is not clogged or partially blocked.
Check that only one filter is placed inside the brew basket.
PROBLEM: Strong or Bitter Coffee
THINGS TO DO: Check that coffee is level in the brew basket before brewing.
Check to see that spray head and surrounding areas are clean.
Check to see that fresh coffee isn’t being added to old coffee.
Check to make sure the satellites are clean.
Throw out grounds and rinse brew basket immediately after brewing.
PROBLEM: LCD is Displaying a Water Level Error Code
THINGS TO DO: Check that water source is on.
Troubleshooting Tips
AN ERROR MESSAGE WILL APPEAR ON THE SCREEN IN THE EVEN OF A MALFUNCTION UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
