Important: Due to the increased light output from this unit, it is rec-
ommended you take the vehicle to a dealer to have the headlamp
properly adjusted. Weight and tire pressure can affect the position of
the light.
Warning: To prevent possible electrical shock, disconnect the nega-
tive Battery terminal before installing this product.
ATTENTION
Please read all Information below before Installation
Fits: 2013 & earlier Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® models.
1. Disconnect the vehicle battery negative [ - ] terminal.
2. Carefully remove the factory front fairing and turn
signal support bracket from your bike, being careful
that all electrical components are unplugged proper-
ly. If unsure of this process, consult detailed service
manual.
3. Remove front plastic headlamp cover from the fair-
ing, this should pop out of place.
4. Locate the 3 adjuster retaining clips (usually green in
color) on the back of the fairing holding the OEM
headlamp in place. Push in on both sides of each
clip, one at a time in order to release the headlamp
and headlamp mounting assembly from the fairing.
Be careful as the weight of the stock lights may
cause unit to release quickly. (See Figure A)
5. If present, cut off the existing plastic tab located be-
tween the two headlamp openings on inside of fair-
ing in order to make room to mount the Rear Support
Plate (See Figure B)
6. Grind Flush (See Figure C)

7. Align the Rear Support Plate to the inside of the fairing
(See Figure D) to use as a template for drilling mounting
holes.
8. Drill the two 1/4” mounting holes. (See Figure E)
9. Install provided plastic clip to retainer tabs on the Front
Support Plate (See Figure F)
10. Re-align the Rear Support Plate to the inside of the fair-
ing. At the same time align the Front Mounting Plate to
the outside of the fairing.
11. Secure both the Front Mounting Plate and the Rear Sup-
port Plate with supplied mounting bolts and nuts. (See
Figure G)
12. Using a Dremel, grind down any parts of the fairing that
extrude on either side of the support plate. Both sides
must be flush with support plate to prevent the head-
lamps from hitting the fairing. (See Figure H)
13. Align 3 mounting clips on your new ProBEAM® head-
lamp to the fairing and snap the headlamp assembly into
place.
14. Bring the fairing with ProBEAM® headlamp to the bike.
Plug the H4 connectors to the new ProBEAM® head-
lamp (the red wire is for European use only).
15. Hang fairing on the 2 mounting clips located on the inner
fairing.
16. Re-install all fairing bolts.
17. Reconnect the vehicle battery negative [ - ]
18. Test all functions of both ProBEAM® Headlights to en-
sure they are working 100%
19. Adjust headlamp if needed to maximize light output.
20. Reinstall the OEM plastic headlamp cover.
