And this is our story:
We‘ve always been bike enthusiasts, just
like you.
However, we were increasingly bothe-
red by the fact that there are simply no
ultra-light and well-designed transport
solutions for the bike. This hindered our
desire for unforgettable experiences and
thus also stood in the way of our quest
for freedom. Out of this motivation, we
founded CYCLITE in the Bavarian Alps in
2020 - to develop innovative products for
us and all ambitious cyclists.
What drives us in founding CYCLITE and
designing each product is the frustration
with existing bike transport gear - often
too heavy, impractical, and simply not as
functional as we would like. We deci-
ded to do better and revolutionize bike
luggage transport with brand new ideas.
With a lot of enthusiasm and passion, we
created the first prototypes.
After a few months, we founded the
company to help those of you who feel
the same way.
To meet our functionality, lightness,
quality, and design requirements, we take
care of every little detail, test our proto-
types under the harshest conditions, and
are only satisfied with 100%.

dukte. Wir könnten nicht glücklicher sein
und werden alles tun, um Deinen hohen
Erwartungen gerecht zu werden.
Und hier ist unsere Geschichte:
Wir sind seit jeher Rad-Enthusiasten,
genau wie Du.
Dabei störte uns zunehmend, dass es
einfach keine ultra-leichten und gut ge-
stalteten Transportlösungen für das Rad
gab. Dies erschwerte unseren Wunsch
nach unvergesslichen Erlebnissen und
stand damit auch unserer Suche nach
Freiheit im Wege. Aus dieser Motivation
heraus wurde CYCLITE 2020 in den baye-
rischen Alpen gegründet - um innovative
Produkte für uns und alle ambitionierten
Radsportler zu entwickeln.
Was uns bei der Gründung von CYCLITE
und bei der Gestaltung jedes einzelnen
Produktes antreibt, ist die Frustration
über bestehende Rad-Transportausrüs-
tung - oft zu schwer, unpraktisch und
einfach nicht so funktional, wie wir es
uns wünschten. Wir haben uns daher
entschieden, es besser zu machen und
mit ganz neuen Ideen den Gepäck-Trans-
port am Rad zu revolutionieren. Mit viel
Begeisterung und Herzblut entstanden
die ersten Prototypen. Nach ein paar
Monaten folgte die Unternehmensgrün-
dung, um denjenigen unter euch helfen
zu können, denen es genauso geht.

• Before each use, check the brackets and straps for damage and only use them if
they are in perfect condition
• Replace damaged parts (spare parts available from [e-mail])
• Ensure that the brackets are firmly seated on the bike
• Before starting, check that the skis and poles are firmly in place (buckles engaged,
clamps closed?)
• Ensure that the handlebars move freely
• Comply with traffic regulations and any obligations to mark overhanging loads
• Familiarize yourself with changes in driving characteristics caused by the load
• If you are going to ride with the mounted SKI RACK without skis, it is essential that
the straps snap into the buckles (B + E) (thread the strap through the saddle frame
on the rear bracket) to ensure that the free ends of the strap do not get caught in
the spokes and lead to an accident with potentially fatal consequences!
• When getting on and off the bike, do not sit on the mounted skis - this could over
load the brackets!
• If the bike falls over with the skis mounted, always check the SKI RACK for damage!
Defects to a bracket could lead to falling skis, crashes and injuries.

• Vor jedem Gebrauch die Bügel und Gurtbänder auf Schäden untersuchen und nur in
einwandfreiem Zustand verwenden
• Beschädigte Teile austauschen (Ersatzteile über [e-mail] erhältlich)
• Auf festen Sitz der Bügel am Fahrrad achten
• Vor dem Start den festen Sitz der Ski und Stöcke überprüfen (eingerastete
Schnallen, geschlossene Klemmbügel?)
• Freigängigkeit des Lenkers sicherstellen
• Verkehrsregeln und etwaige Markierungspflichten von überhängender Ladung
einhalten
• Mit veränderten Fahreigenschaften durch die Ladung vertraut machen
• Sollte mit dem montierten SKI RACK ohne Ski gefahren werden, unbedingt die
Gurte in die Schnallen (B + E) einrasten (am hinteren Bügel den Gurt durch das
Sattelgestell fädeln), um sicherzustellen, dass die freien Gurtenden sich nicht in den
Speichen verfangen und zu einem Unfall mit potentiell fatalen Folgen führen!
• Beim Auf- und Absteigen nicht auf die montierten Ski setzen - dabei könnten die
Bügel überlastet werden.
• Wenn das Rad mit montierten Ski umfällt, unbedingt das SKI RACK auf Beschädi
gungen überprüfen! Schäden am Träger könnten zu herabfallenden Ski, Stürzen und
Verletzungen führen.

Before the initial assembly, you have
to measure the top tube width at the
assembly point and, if necessary, glue the
appropriate foam spacer in the arch of the
front bracket centered from below:

You can protect the top tube from scrat-
ches at the mounting point of the front
bracket using the frame protection film
(J - cut to size as required).
Vor der Erstmontage musst Du die
Oberrohr-Breite am Montagepunkt
messen und wenn nötig den passenden
Schaumstoff-Distanzhalter in den Bogen
des vorderen Bügels von unten mittig
einkleben:

Das Oberrohr kannst Du am Montage-
punkt des vorderen Bügels mittels der
Rahmenschutzfolie (J – nach Bedarf
zuschneiden) vor Kratzern schützen.

Open one of the red clamps (a) and un-
thread the strap on one side from the
buckle (B), the red clip (C) and the bracket
opening (b). Place the bracket onto the
top tube (logo readable while riding), put
the strap around the top tube, insert it
through the bracket opening (b), pull it
tight and close the clamping bracket (a).
Then you can thread the clip (C, with the
long leg towards the bracket) and the
buckle (B) again. Pay attention to the cor-
rect orientation (see opposite side)!
ATTENTION: For very narrow skis, such
as cross-country skis, you have to thread
the straps on both sides at the lower ope-
nings (c) through the bracket and back
before you thread the buckles.

The red clips (C) are not required for
cross-country skis.
Öffne einen der roten Klemmbügel (a)
und fädele einseitig den Gurt aus der
Steckschnalle (B), dem roten Clip (C) und
der Bügel-Durchführung (b) aus. Stecke
den Bügel aufs Oberrohr auf (Logo in
Fahrt lesbar), lege das Gurtband ums
Oberrohr, stecke es durch die Bügel-
Durchführung (b), ziehe es fest und
schließe den Klemmbügel (a). Danach
kannst Du den Clip (C, mit langem Bein
Richtung Bügel) und die Steckschnalle (B)
wieder einfädeln. Achte auf die richtige
Orientierung (siehe Gegenseite)!
ACHTUNG: Für sehr schmale Ski, wie
z.B. Langlaufski, musst Du die Gurte
beidseitig an den unteren Durchbrüchen
(c) durch den Bügel und zurück fädeln,
bevor Du die Steckschnallen einfädelst.

For correct assembly, the saddle frame
must have at least 15mm of horizontal
space behind the clamping head of the
seat post. If this is not the case, move the
saddle backwards accordingly.
Now the bracket with the Velcro fastener
(F) can be locked into the saddle frame
from behind/above in the direction of
travel.
The lateral noses (d) sit symmetrically on
the tubes of the saddle.
Use the Velcro strap (F) to secure the
bracket to the seat post.
Für eine korrekte Montage muss das
Sattelgestell hinter dem Klemmkopf der
Sattelstütze noch mindestens 15mm
horizontalen Platz aufweisen. Falls dies

Nun kann der Bügel mit der Klett-Fixie-
rung (F) in Fahrtrichtung von hinten/oben
in das Sattelgestell eingerastet werden.
Die seitlichen Nasen (d) sitzen dabei sym-
metrisch auf den Rohren des Sattels.
Mit dem Klettband (F) sicherst Du den
Bügel an der Sattelstütze.

Now the SKI RACK is ready
to mount skis. The skis are
placed individually onto
the brackets with the tips
in the direction of travel
and initially fixed with the
straps at the front. To do
this, slide the red clips (C)
onto the edges of the ski,
snap the buckles (B) into
place (audible „click“) and
tighten the straps. The ski
binding should be located
directly behind the rear
bracket (D).

try skis are easier and more
stable to mount due to
their high pre-tension if the
ski ends are held together
with a ski fixture.
You can put the ski poles

forward and fasten them

Here, too, ensure that the
buckle engages securely
(E, audible „click“).
Make sure that the handle-
bars can be rotated freely
and if necessary move the
skis backwards.
If everything is set correct-
ly, you can optionally fix
the free strap ends to the
straps with the help of the
holders (G).
Be sure to check that the
skis are securely held befo-
re you set off!

mit den Gurten fixiert.
Schiebe dazu die roten
Clips (C) auf die Skikanten,
raste die Steckschnallen (B)
ein (hörbares „Klick“) und
spanne die Gurte nach.
Die Ski-Bindung sollte
dabei direkt hinter dem
hinteren Bügel (D) zu lie-
gen kommen.

ACHTUNG: Langlaufski sind auf
Grund ihrer großen Vorspannung
einfacher und stabiler zu montie-
ren, wenn die Skienden mit einem
Skifix zusammengehalten werden.
Die Skistöcke kannst Du mit den
Griffen nach vorne zwischen und
auf die Ski legen und zusammen
mit beiden Ski durch den hinteren
Gurt (e) befestigen. Auch hier
ist auf ein sicheres Einrasten der
Schnalle (E, hörbares „Klick“ ) zu
achten.
Stelle sicher, dass der Lenker sich frei bewegen
lässt und verschiebe gegebenenfalls die Ski
und wenn nötig auch den vorderen Bügel nach
hinten. Wenn alles richtig eingestellt ist, kannst
Du optional die freien Gurt-Enden mit Hilfe der
Halter (G) an den Gurten fixieren.
Prüfe unbedingt den festen Halt der Ski, bevor
Du losfährst!

If you have used your SKI RACK
on wet, especially salted roads,
you should rinse the brackets well
with water and dry them before
storing them so that no corrosion
can occur on the buckle magnets
and metal bars - although they are
made out of stainless steel.
The plastic of the SKI RACK must
not be stored at more than 60° C,
as it can then deform. For exam-
ple, direct sunlight in a closed car
etc. must be avoided.
With any plastic material, UV ra-
diation promotes ageing and leads
to deterioration of the mechanical
properties.
Therefore, the SKI RACK should be stored in a dark,
cool and dry place when not in use.
Wenn Du Dein SKI RACK bei nassen, insbesondere
gesalzenen Straßen benutzt hast, solltest Du die
Bügel vor der Lagerung gut mit Wasser abspülen
und trocknen, damit an den Schnallen-Magneten
und Metall-Stangen - obwohl sie aus Edelstahl ge-
fertigt sind - keine Korrosion entstehen kann.
Der Kunststoff des SKI RACK darf nicht bei mehr als
60° C gelagert werden, da er sich dann verformen
kann. So ist z.B. direkte Sonneneinstrahlung im ge-
schlossenen Auto u.ä. zu vermeiden.
Bei jedem Kunsstoff befördert UV-Strahlung die Al-
terung und führt zur Verschlechterung der mecha-
nischen Eigenschaften. Daher sollte das SKI RACK
bei Nichtgebrauch an einem dunklen, kühlen und
trockenen Ort gelagert werden.
