WARNING!! Abrasive blast cabinets produce a powerfulflow of abrasive particles. To avoid perconal
injury andlor property damage, read this manual thoroughly before operating the blast cabinet.
It is suggested this manual is kept for reference of blaster model number and replacement pafts listing.
This blast cabinet is set up for use with DRYAbrasive Materials ONLY!
DO NOT MIX FLUIDS WITH BLAST MATERIAL!
lntroduction
Clclone abrasive blast cabinets are designed for cleaning and finishing with dry blast materials such as glass beads, aluminum oxide, blasting
garnet, walnut shells, silicon carbide and sands. The system is sealed at all openings. The blast system will produce several different finishes,
depending on the type of blasting material and the air pressure used.
Precautionary Check List
* Always close cabinet doors before blasting.
* Make sure all air connections are secure.
* Do Not0perate0ver 120 PSl.
* Always clean any spilt blasting material from work area. lt can cause floors to become slippery.
* Use lower air pressure to clean soft metals and delicate parts.
* Always keep the blast stream moving in a circular or horizontal motion. Any blast concentrated in one
area will result in pitting and uneven blast surfaces.
* DONOTUSESTEELSHoTINTHISBLASTCABINffI Thiscabinetisnotdesignedfororsetupforsteelshot. Useofsteelshotinthis
blast unit will void the wananty and possibly injury the operator! This includes black beauty.
* D0 NoT USE LIQUID OF ANY KIND lN THIS BLAST CABlNEliquids will cause the blast media to clump up and not flow through
the hoses properly. Use of any liquids will void the wananty and could cause damage to the cabinet!

How To Assemble and Install Blast Cabinet

l) Attach system to electricity. Bulbs are abeady in lamp.
2) Attach air to the foot valve assembly. lt is Y+" npt. Screw hose barb into the cabinet (left
hand side). Slide hose from foot pedal over this barb and tighten clamp provided.
3) Open cabinet and pour 15-25lbs. of blast material into cabinet hopper.
4) Place part on metal grate to be blasted. Close door.
5) Turn light and dust collection system on.
6) Depress foot pedal and begin to blast. Make sure to keep the spray pattern moving in
circular motions. This will help ensure a more even result. Do not blast directly at the
window. This will cause frosting of the window (which means you will have to replace it).
Also, be careful not to hit the window with the gun or with your parts. This could cause
the window to break and possibly injure the operator.
Abrasive feed from separator:
1) The pick up hose assembly feeds directly from the separator. With the dust collection
in operation, the separator will continuously have clean blast abrasive for the pick up hose
to draw from. There is a hole located in the pick up hose on the exterior of the cabinet with
a braided hose sleeve near it. This is to smooth out the flow of blast material through the
hoses and out the gun on the media feed from the separator to the cabinet. Cover the hole
partially or completely for a smooth flow of media to the gun.
To operate the air purge in the dust collection system: Please note this purge system
should not operate non stop. This is for occasional cleaning and for use no more than 5
minutes per cieaning.
1) Attach air to the Yz" npt ball valve located on the side of the dust collector housing.
2) With the dust collector housing closed, turn valve on, allowing interior air waves to
send air thru the filter, thus knocking dust from the cartridge filter to the bottom hopper
to be discarded. Generally, 5 -10 minutes are sufficient. Turn air valve off and disconnect
the air when purging is complete.

Cyclone abrasive blast cabinets are warranted against defects in workmanship or materials
in accord with the following terms:
* Warranty extends to the original owner only.
x Warranty does not cover blast cabinets used in commercial rentals.
* Warranty is valid for one year (l) following the date of purchase.
* Warranty does not cover standard wear items such as the nozzle, orifice, blasting material, window
glass and gaskets.
* Warranty does not cover misuse of blast cabinet This includes failure to follow instructions.
* Warranty does not cover blast unit if altered or otherwise changed from original state from the
Factory.
* WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DAMAGES IN TRANSIT. IN SUCH CASES, THE
RECEIVER SHOULD CONTACT THE FREIGHT CARRIER WITHIN 15 DAYS OF
DELIVERY TO FILE A CLAIM. IT IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE
MANUFACTURER TO FILE THE CLAIM. IF ANY PARTS SHOULD BE REQUIRED
TO FIX A FREIGHT DAMAGED UNIT, THE RECEIVER WILL BE BILLED
ACCORDINGLY. THIS BILL CAN THEN BE TURNED OVER TO THE FREIGHT
CARRIER.
USERS SHOULD CALL THEIR DISTRIBUTOR OR THE FACTORY UPON INSPECTION OF ANY
PROBLEM. A TECHNICAL PERSON CAN ASSIST YOU.

B. AIR MIX SLEEVE
This sleeve covers a hole in the pipe
nipple. The hole is necessary to allow
air to mix with the media being drawn
to the gun, Cover or uncover the holer( or
adjust the sleeve partiallyr) to get the desired
low.
A. MEDIA ADJUSTMENT VALVE
This valve is used to adjust the amount
of media that is drawn to the blast gun.
