in the carton during shipment. Separate, identify, and count all parts and
metal hardware. Compare with parts list to be sure all parts are present. If

IMPORTANT NOTES
-THIS BUNK BED REQUIRES TWO PEOPLE TO ASSEMBLE.
-READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ASSEMBLY TO PREVENT
DAMAGE TO PARTS.
-TO PREVENT DAMAGE IN SHIPMENT, TOP AND BOTTOM
PANELS ARE PACKED ASSEMBLED. DISASSEMBLE AND
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.
-TO ASSEMBLE AS BUNK FOLLOW STEPS 1-7.
-TO ASSEMBLE AS TWIN FOLLOW STEPS 8-9.
•BUNK BED ASSEMBLY•
Step 1- To assemble top bed (See Fig. 4). Align the (2) holes on upper deck
brackets (D) with bottom holes of end upper panel (A). Be sure to use the
19 tubes deck. Insert ¼” x 1” screws (K) thru holes in deck brackets and
into the end upper panel threaded (A) holes and loosely tighten. Repeat
with all sides. (See Fig. 1). Insert ¼” x 1 ½” screw (J) thru hole on safety
device, slide one washer (N) in screw and secure with one hex nut (O).
Repeat with all corners. (See Fig. 2).
Step 2- To assemble lower bed (See Fig. 5). Align the (2) holes on lower
deck brackets (E) with bottom holes of lower end panel (B). Be sure to use
the 13 tubes deck. Insert ¼” x 1” screws (K) thru holes in deck brackets
into the end lower panel threaded (B) holes and loosely tighten. Repeat
with all sides.(See Fig. 1. Insert the ¾” x 1 ¾” plastic cap (M) in the
support leg end (G). Attach the support leg (G) to lower deck with two ¼”
x 1” screws (K) and secure with one hex nut (O) Repeat instructions with
other support leg. Tighten securely.(See Fig. 5 & 6).
Step 3- Align top holes of upper panels (A) with holes of the guardrail (C).
Insert ¼” x 1” screws (K) through holes in guardrail and into panel
threaded holes and tighten. (See Fig. 3 & 4). Repeat instructions with other
guardrail. Tighten securely.
Step 4- Place 3” double end plastic inserts (I) between upper and lower
panel posts. Put top bed over bottom bed. (See Fig. 7).
Step 5- Remove the paper strips of the protection bands (P) and stick them
into the ladder brackets (F). (See Fig. 10). To attach the ladder (F), insert
1” plastic caps (L) in all four ends (See Fig. 8). Attach ladder (F) on the
crossbeam of upper deck (D). Insert ¼” x 1 ½” screws (J) thru holes in
ladder (See Fig. 8 &11). Tighten screws.
Step 6- Place one full size mattress on top bed deck (D). Ensures thickness
of mattress and foundation combined does not exceed 8 inches and that
mattress surface is a least 5 inches below upper edge of guardrails.
Step 7- Place one full size mattress on bottom bed deck (E). Maximum
thickness of twin mattress and foundation combined should be 8 inches on
lower bunk.
FULL BEDS ASSEMBLY
Step 8 - To assemble the headboard, use one upper end panel (A). (See Fig. 9).
Align the (2) holes of one upper deck brackets (E) with upper end panel holes
(A). Insert ¼” x 1” screws (K) thru holes in deck brackets (E) and into the upper
end panel threaded holes and loosely tighten. Repeat all sides. (See Fig.1).
Tighten all screws. Repeat instructions with the other bed (use one upper end
panel (D).
Step 9 – To assemble the footboard, use one lower end panel (B). (See Fig. 9).
Align the (2) holes of one upper deck brackets (E) with upper end panel holes
(A). Insert ¼” x 1” screws (K) thru holes in upper deck brackets (E) into the
lower end panel (B) threaded holes and loosely tighten. Repeat all sides. (See
Fig.1). Tighten all screws. Repeat instructions with the other bed (use one upper
end panel (D).
Warning: Over tightening screws may cause threads to strip out.
NOTE: To preserve painted finish, wipe with a soft damp cloth. DO NOT
use cleaners or abrasives as they may damage the finish.
WARNING
•TO HELP PREVENT SERIOUS OR FATAL INJURIES FROM
ENTRAPMENT OR FALLS:
•Follow the information on the warnings appearing on upper bunk end
structure and on the carton. Do not remove warning label from bed.
•Always use the recommended size mattress to help prevent entrapment
or falls.
•Use only mattress which is: 74-75 inches long and 52 ½ – 53 ½ inches
wide on upper bunk.
•Ensure thickness of mattress and foundation combined does not exceed
8 inches and mattress is at least 5 inches below upper edge of
guardrails.
•Never allow a child under 6 years at upper bunk.
•Prohibit more than one person on upper bunk.
•Periodically check and ensure that the guardrails, ladder, and other
components are maintained in their proper position and condition, free
from damage, and that all connectors are tight.
•Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed and prohibit jumping on
the bed.
•Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
•Do not use substitute parts. Contact manufacturer or dealer for
replacement parts.
•Use of a night light may provide added safety precaution for a child
using the upper bunk.
•Always use the guardrails on both long sides of upper bunk.
•The use of water sleep flotation mattress is prohibited.
•STRANGULATION HAZARD – Never attach or hang items to any
part of the bunk bed that are not designed for use with the bed; for
example, but not limited to, hooks, belts, and jump ropes.
•Keep these instructions for future reference.
•Make sure you use 19 spindles bed frame in upper deck.
•To avoid the risk of injuries never use bed without top plastic caps.
•Replacement parts, including replacement guardrails, may be obtained
from any of our CYM Furniture dealers.

•ENSAMBLE DE LITERA•
Paso 1- Ensamble de cama superior . (Ver Fig.4). Alinee las (2) perforaciones
de las sercha del tambor superior (D) con las perforaciones inferiores del panel
superior (A). Asegúrese de utilizar el tambor de 19 tubos. Inserte los tornillos de
¼” x 1” (K) a través de las perforaciones de la sercha del tambor y de las
perforaciones roscadas del panel superior (A) sin apretar. Repita en todos los
lados (Ver Fig. 1). Inserte un tornillo de ¼” x 1 ½” (J) en la perforación de la
sercha de seguridad. Deslice una guasa (N) en el extremo del tornillo y asegure
con una tuerca hexagonal (O). Repita con todas las esquinas (Ver Fig. 2).
Paso 2- Ensamble de cama inferior. (Ver Fig.5). Alinee las (2) perforaciones de
la sercha del tambor inferior (E) con las perforaciones del panel inferior (B).
Asegúrese de utilizar el tambor de 13 tubos. Inserte los tornillos de ¼” x 1” (K)
a través de las perforaciones de la sercha del tambor y de las perforaciones
roscadas del panel inferior (B) sin apretar. Repita en todos los lados (Ver Fig.
1). Inserte el regatón de ¾” x 1 ¾” (M) en la parte inferior de la pata soporte
(G). Fije la pata soporte (G) en el tambor inferior (E) insertando 1 tornillo de ¼”
x 1” (K) y asegure con una tuerca hexagonal (O). Repita instrucciones con la
otra pata soporte y apriete los tornillos. (Ver Fig. 5 & 6).
Paso 3- Alinee las perforaciones del barandal (C) con las perforaciones
superiores del panel superior (A). Inserte los tornillos de ¼” x 1” (K) a través de
las perforaciones de los barandales y las perforaciones roscadas del panel
superior, y apriete. (Ver Fig. 3 & 4). Repita instrucciones con el otro barandal.
Apriete los tornillos con seguridad.
Paso 4 - Coloque los conectores de plástico (I) entre los postes superiores e
inferiores de los paneles. Ponga el panel superior sobre el panel inferior. (Ver
Fig.7).
Paso 5- Remueva las tiras de papel de las bandas protectoras (P), y adhiéralas a
la parte interior de las abrazaderas de la escalera. (F) (Ver Fig. 10). Inserte
regatones de 1” (L) en los cuatro extremos de la escalera (F). (Ver Fig. 8).
Alinee la escalera (F) a uno de los lados del tambor superior (D) e inserte los
tornillos de ¼” x 1 ½” (J) a través de las perforaciones de la escalera y apriete
en las perforaciones roscadas de la escalera. (Ver Fig. 8 y 11).
Paso 6- Coloque un colchón matrimonial en el tambor superior (D). Asegúrese
que el espesor del colchón y de su soporte juntos no sea mayor de 8 pulgadas y
la superficie del colchón debe estar por lo menos 5 pulgadas debajo de la orilla
superior del barandal.
Paso 7-Coloque un colchón matrimonial en el tambor inferior (E). El espesor
máximo del colchón individual y de su soporte juntos debe ser de 8 pulgadas en
el tambor inferior.
ENSAMBLE DE CAMAS MATRIMONIALES
Paso 8 - Para ensamblar la cabecera, use un panel superior (A). (Ver Fig.9).
Alinee las (2) perforaciones de un tambor (E) con las perforaciones del panel
superior (A). Inserte los tornillos de ¼” x 1” (K) a través de las perforaciones
del tambor (E) y atornille en las perforaciones roscadas del panel superior (A)
sin apretar. (Ver Fig. 1). Repita con todas las esquinas. Apriete todos los
tornillos. Repita las instrucciones para la otra cama (usando el tambor (D).
Paso 9 - Para ensamblar la piecera, use un panel inferior (B). (Ver Fig.9).
Alinee las (2) perforaciones de un tambor (E) con las perforaciones del panel
superior (A). Inserte los tornillos de ¼” x 1” (K) a través de las perforaciones
del tambor (E) y atornille en las perforaciones roscadas del panel inferior (B) sin
apretar. (Ver Fig. 1). Apriete todos los tornillos. Repita las instrucciones para la
otra cama (usando el tambor (D).
AVISO: Apretar los tornillos en exceso puede provocar que se barra la
rosca.
NOTA: Para conservar lustroso el acabado de pintura, limpie con un trapo
suave. NUNCA USE limpiadores o abrasivos ya que pueden dañar el acabado.
AVISO
•PARA AYUDAR A PREVENIR ACCIDENTES SERIOS POR MOTIVO
DE ATRAPAMIENTO O CAÍDAS:
•Siga las indicaciones de precaución que aparecen en la parte superior del
lateral y en la caja de cartón. No remueva la etiqueta de precauciones de la
litera.
•Siempre utilice la medida recomendada del colchón para prevenir un
atrapamiento o caída.
•Solo use colchón matrimonial el cual es 74-75 pulgadas de largo y 52 ½ -
53 ½ pulgadas de ancho en la litera superior.
•Asegúrese de que el espesor del colchón y de su soporte juntos no sea
mayor 8 pulgadas y de que la superficie del colchón quede por lo menos 5
pulgadas abajo de la orilla superior del barandal.
•Nunca permita que ningún niño menor de 6 años de edad utilice la cama
superior.
•Prohíba más de una persona en la cama superior.
•Inspeccione y asegure regularmente el barandal, la escalera y otros
componentes para que siempre estén en su posición apropiada, sin ningún
riesgo de causar daños y para que todos los conectores estén apretados.
•No permita juegos violentos encima o debajo de la litera y prohíba saltar
sobre ella.
•Siempre use la escalera para subir y bajar de la cama superior.
•No sustituya ninguna pieza. Comuníquese con el fabricante o distribuidor
para ordenar piezas de repuesto. Llame a nuestro Departamento de Servicio.
•El uso de una lámpara de noche puede proveer una precaución adicional al
niño que usa la cama superior de la litera.
•Siempre use los barandales a lo largo de los lados de la litera superior.
•Está prohibido utilizar colchones de agua o aire.
•RIESGO DE ESTRANGULAMIENTO – Nunca coloque o cuelgue
artículos en cualquier parte de la litera que no estén diseñados para usarse
con la cama; por ejemplo, pero no limitado a, ganchos, cinturones, y
cuerdas de saltar.
•Conserve estas instrucciones para futuras referencias.
•Asegure el uso del tambor de 19 tubos en la parte superior.
•Para evitar riesgos de accidente nunca use la cama sin regatones plásticos
superiores.
•Para piezas de reemplazo, incluyendo barandales adicionales, pueden ser
obtenidos de cualquier distribuidor de CYM Furniture.
