This model is controlled by a Bluetooth signal that is subject to interference from
many sources outside your control. This interference can cause momentary loss
of control so it is advisable to always keep a safe distance in all direcons around
your model, as this margin will help to avoid collisions or injury.
• Never operate your model with low baery or damaged / broken rotor blades.
• Always operate your model in an open area away from people.
• Keep all chemicals, small parts and anything electrical out of the reach of
children.
• Moisture causes damage to electronics . Avoid water exposure to all equipment
not specically designed and protected for this purpose.
• Never lick or place any poron of your model in your mouth as it could cause
serious injury or even death.

Drive Mode
The Smart iCopter comes with the ability to be driven on the ground. Use the
Drive Mode to familiarize yourself on direconal controls of the Smart iCopter
before taking to the air.
Press “Li O” buon to take o. In Easy-Fly
mode, the height is preset between 2.6 - 3.9
feet (0.8 - 1.2 meter). Press Land buon to
land your Smart iCopter.
Ready, Set, Li O ...
Once you are comfortable with the direconal controls, with a single touch of the
Easy-Fly One Touch “Li O and Auto Hover” feature, launch your Smart iCopter
into the air.
Press and hold “Ignion” buon unl rotor
blades start to turn. Use the direconal
control to Drive your Smart iCopter on the
ground. Use Altude slider to increase power
during drive mode. Press and hold Engine
Stop to stop.

Those who had experience ying tradional RC helicopters know it is a challenge
and the learning curve is usually a painful and frustrang process.
With our proprietary and Patent Pending
Easy-Fly features, you can now enjoy instant
ying experience with our One Touch
approach to ying.
Altude Slider

In Easy-Fly mode, the height is preset between

Please note that your Smart iCopter uses
on board sound sensor to detect surface to
height changes, i.e. ying over table or other
furniture, and it will auto correct its altude
accordingly.
With the chance to take to the air, the Easy-Fly Smart iCopter in your hands will be

Comes with a built-in Class II Bluetooth; watch and admire as your Smart iCopter

Easy-Fly Auto Call Assist
The Easy-Fly feature comes with an Auto
Call Assist which is applicable for iPhone
users only.
The Easy-Fly Auto Call Assist will
acvate when you receive an incoming
call while ying your Smart iCopter. The
Smart iCopter will auto land and shut
o so that you can receive your call
without having to bother about your
Smart iCopter ying o unaended.
Auxiliary Controls

Emits a single light beam from the front
of the Smart iCopter, to perform like a
searchlight.
Navigaon Light
Turns on the blinking lights.

Indicator shows the status of the baery
for your Smart iCopter.

Baery Charging and Care
Please ensure that you have adequately
charged your baery before ying. When the
unit is charging, the lights will be RED, and
turns BLUE when fully charged. Toggle the
switch next to the charging port to turn the
power On/O.
Smart iCopter charges using the USB cable
included in the box when you purchase your
Smart iCopter. Connect the USB Cable to your
Mac or PC or a 5V charger to charge.
Warning: Lithium Ion or Lithium Polymer Rechargeable Baery Inside
(No Lithium Metal). Risk of explosion if baery is replaced with an
incorrect type. Don’t open or puncture the baerry, short circuit, or
expose to re, high temperatures, or water. Keep baery out of reach
of children.
• Li-Po baeries are signicantly more volale than the Alkaline, Ni-Cd or Ni-MH
baeries used in RC applicaons. All instrucons and warnings must be followed
exactly. Mishandling of Li-Po baeries can result in a re, personal injury, and/or
property damage.
• By handling, charging or using the included Li-Po baery you assume all risks
associated with lithium baeries. If you do not agree with these condions,
return your complete Smart iCopter model in new, unused condion to the place
of purchase immediately.
• You must charge the included Li-Po baery in a safe area away from ammable
materials.
• Never charge the baery unaended. When charging the baery you should
always remain in constant observaon to monitor the charging process and react
to potenal problems that may occur.
• Aer ight, the baery must be cooled to ambient temperature before charging
.
• DO NOT USE A Ni-Cd or Ni-MH CHARGER. Failure to charge the baery with
a compable 5V charger may cause re resulng in personal injury and/or
property damage.
Bluetooth Pairing
Before aempng to y your Smart
iCopter, please ensure that you pair via
Bluetooth.
Turn on your Smart iCopter, on your
Device, go to Sengs > General >
Bluetooth > toggle switch to “On”.
Please note that Bluetooth uses a lot of
your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad baery
power. Be sure to turn o Bluetooth
when you are not using it to conserve
baery power.

When we designed the Smart iCopter series, we
wanted to make ying an enjoyable fun-tasc
experience for you.
With the Easy-Fly feature, the Smart iCopter series
is the rst in the world to introduce the One Touch
approach to ying this class of RC Copter.

The Smart iCopter is NOT a TOY and only suitable for INDOOR use.
WARNING: Suitable for Ages 14 and up. This product may contain small parts
which may pose as a choking hazard to children.
Please read this manual carefully before aempng to y your Smart iCopter, and
make sure you are always conscious of your own personal safety and the safety of
others. Be conscious of your surroundings and environment when operang the
Smart iCopter.
d-Red Technologies Ltd., aliated groups, and seller assume no liability for the
operaon or use of this product. The user/ purchaser is responsible for common
knowledge and exercising one’s personal safety and the safety of others, that may
be aected by the use of the product, be they a parcipant or spectator.
Aer the sale of this product, we cannot maintain any control over its operaon or
usage. Any damage or dissasfacon as a result of accidents or modicaons are
not covered by any warranty, and cannot be returned for repair or replacement.
Do not operate or y under following condions
• In an area that has wind dras. The Smart iCopter is STRICTLY for indoor ying
only. Common household items such as Fan, Air Condioner or Heater System
may cause dri resulng in unstable ying condions.
• If model feels hot due to overheated rotor motor from prolonged hours of ying.
• If model has been in contact with rain, moisture, or contaminants.
• In cold climate condions - plascs are very suscepble to damage due to cold
climates. Opmum operang temperature is between 20˚- 45˚C.
• If model has been in contact with re or high heat - plascs and electronics
components are very suscepble to damage or deformaon due to heat.
• In crowded areas of the home. Avoid operang your model in the street where
injury or damage can occur. Never operate the model out on the street or in
populated areas for any reason.
• Near roads, railways, or power lines.
• If red, sick, or under the inuence of drugs or alcohol.
• If beginner or individual(s) planning to operate a borrowed helicopter unfamiliar
with model or safety instrucons.
Inspect All Parts
• Before each ight, check for damaged parts and verify all parts are operang
normally with all funcons in order. Do not y if blades are damaged.
• Verify that there are no abnormalies that would adversely aect the ight of
the helicopter.
• Verify baery on board helicopter and your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad to ensure
that they have sucient level of charge.
• Verify there is no introducon or exposure to water or moisture in any form.
During operaon of helicopter
• Always be aware of your surroundings. DO NOT ALLOW Children to operate the
Smart iCopter without Adult Supervision.
• Maintain safe distances from aircra and rotang main/tail rotor blades.
Recommended safe distance is 10 feet (3 meter).
• Always be conscious of your acons.
• Wear appropriate clothing that does not interfere with your iPod touch, iPhone
or iPad or Smart iCopter.
• Never leave your model unaended. Carefully follow all direcons and warnings.
• Maintain eye contact with your Smart iCopter during all aspects of operaon.

Troubleshoong Troubleshoong
General Issues
When I press the Ignion buon, there is only a vibraon but I can’t y my
Smart iCopter.
• Press and hold Ignion buon for 2-3 seconds and a sound will indicate there is
Ignion.
There is Ignion but I sll can’t y my Smart iCopter.
• Please ensure that the power buon is turned on at your Smart iCopter. Please
refer to page 10 to locate power On/ O buon.
• Please ensure that the Bluetooth icon is lighted up to indicate that your iPod
touch, iPhone or iPad is paired with your Smart iCopter.
The Smart iCopter unit is trying to li o but seems errac and is having
trouble liing o.
• Please ensure that you are ying from a at and hard surface as the sensors
may have trouble detecng height and will cause your Smart iCopter to perform
erracally.
Unable to connect Bluetooth.
• Please ensure that only ONE of your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad is connected to
your Smart iCopter.
• Un-pair & delete prole on your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad Bluetooth
connecon in Sengs > General > Bluetooth > Tap blue arrow icon > tap “Forget
this Device” and re-pair.
The Smart iCopter seems to be driing a lot or rotates without being
controlled.
• Please re-calibrate your Smart iCopter by using the Trim funcon on the App.
Dial the Trim buon to the opposite side of the dri or rotaon.
If you are ying 2 or more Smart iCopter in the same airspace, please pair one
at a me.
App Issues
My Smart iCopter App doesn’t seem to be launching aer I download it from
the App Store.
• Delete the App completely from your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad and from your
iTunes and re-download the App.
My Smart iCopter seems to be out of control or the controls are not responsive
in the App.
• Please turn o your Smart iCopter and completely exit your App by double
clicking your Home Buon > click and hold Smart iCopter App ll it jiggles > press
the minus buon > restart the App > turn on your Smart iCopter and play again.
If you recently restored the soware on your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad, you
will need to re-download your Smart iCopter App.
Baery Issues
The baery won’t charge
• Please ensure that you correctly connected the charger to your Smart iCopter.
• If you are charging from your keyboard, please ensure it has a high-powered USB
2.0 port.
The baery losses charge fast.
• Please ensure that you give the baery a complete charge before use.
• Please ensure that you turn o the power on your Smart iCopter when not in
use.
The Smart iCopter rotors are rotang erracally and the unit is aempng to
li o but unable to.
• Low in power, please recharge your Smart iCopter.

在Easy-Fly模式中，预设的最佳飞行高
度：2.6到3.9英尺（0.8米~1.2米）。
注意：智能蓝牙直升机的主板超声波感应
器将会自动侦测地面高度的变化，并做出
相应的校正以确保飞行高度的稳定。
微调（方向舵）
微调用于校正在飞行盘旋过程中发生的左
右偏转，确保飞行的稳定性。如发生偏转
漂移时，只需朝相反的方向转动微调控制
盘直至其平衡即可。

何适配器。
通过内置的Class II蓝牙，欣赏您的智能蓝牙直升机在半径33英尺（10米）的
空域内优雅的翱翔吧。
注意：本智能蓝牙直升机采用蓝牙信号控制，除了正常的控制信号之外可
能会受到其它干扰。干扰可能会造成短暂的操作失控，因此建议在智能蓝
牙直升机周围各个方向均保持一定的安全距离，以免造成碰撞或伤害。
更长久的飞行体验
智能蓝牙直升机的设计出于对更长飞行时间的考
虑，内置了可充电锂聚合物（锂聚合物）电池。

Easy-Fly附带有电话自动切入功能，此功
能仅适用于iPhone用户。
在飞行智能蓝牙直升机时如有电话进
入，将会激活Easy-Fly电话自动切入

且关闭电源，让您可以放心的接听电

探照灯
从智能蓝牙直升机前端发出一
条光束，用以模拟探照灯。
航行灯
开启飞行闪光灯。
电量指示
显示智能蓝牙直升机的电池电
量状态。
电池充电及维护
开始操作前，确保已经对智能蓝牙直升机
电池充分充电。切换充电接口旁的电源开
关开启/关闭智能蓝牙直升机电源。
使用购买智能蓝牙直升机时随箱附送的
USB充电线缆充电。将USB充电线缆连接
到Mac、PC或5V充电器上进行充电。
警告：内置可充电锂离子或锂聚合物电池 （不含金属锂）。 如
使用错误类型的电池会导致爆炸危险。请不要将电池拆解、穿
刺、短路或暴露于火中、高温或水中。将电池放置在儿童接触不
到的地方。
• 用在遥控设备中的锂聚合物电池明显的不如碱性电池、镍镉电池及镍氢
电池稳定。请严格遵守所有的提示及警告！对锂聚合物电池操作不当会
导致火灾、人身伤害及/或财产损失。
• 操作、充电或使用内置的锂聚合物电池，你将承担锂电池相关的所有风
险。如果你不同意本条件，请立即将全新未使用的智能蓝牙直升机返还
至购买处。
• 请在远离易燃物的安全区域对内置的锂聚合物电池充电。
• 请不要在无人看管时充电。充电时，请保持始终监视其充电过程，及时
对充电时可能发生的潜在问题采取正确措施。
• 飞行后，电池必须冷却至室温后方可对其进行充电。
• 不要使用镍镉或镍氢电池充电器！错误使用不兼容的5V充电器可能会导

蓝牙配对
飞行操纵智能蓝牙直升机之前请确保
已经建立蓝牙配对连接。
开启智能蓝牙直升机，在苹果设备
上，前往“设置” >“通用” > “蓝
牙”> 切换蓝牙至“开启”状态。
注意：蓝牙功能会消耗很多iPod
touch, iPhone或iPad的电池电量。
不使用时请关闭蓝牙以节省电池电
量。
