ASSEMBLY/INSTALLATION
Followtheinstructionsbelowtoprepareyourtoolfor
operation.
All tooloperatorsand theirimmediatesupervisorsmust
becomefamiliarwiththe operatorsafetyinstructions
beforeoperatingthetool.
Includedwitheach toolareone copyofthese
Operating/SafetyInstructions. Keepthispublicationsfor
futurereference.
Install afilter,regulator,lubricatorunitandmoisturetrap
on yourairdeliverysystemperthemanufacturer's
instructionsforthesedevices.Additionally,installa
pressuregauge asclose aspracticaltothe tool,
preferablywithin10 feet.
Selecthoses withaminimuminnerdiameterof1/4
inchesandamaximumlengthof100 feet.
To reduce theriskofinjuryfromahosebursting,select
hosesthatareratedatleast600PSI.
Selectfittings thatareappropriatesizefortheselected
hoses.Thetool andairhosemusthaveahosecoupling
sothatall pressureisremovedfromthetoolwhenthe
couplingjointisdisconnected.
Neverusenonrelievingcouplersand/orfemalequick
disconnectcouplingsonthetool. Nonrelieving couplings
and femalecouplings willtraphighpressureairinthetool
whentheairlineisdisconnected.Thiswillleavethe tool
charged withenoughairafterithas been disconnected to
driveanail. OnlyMALEpneumatictypeairconnectors
shouldbefittedtothetool,sothathighpressureairinthe
toolisventedtoatmosphereas soonastheairlineis
disconnected.
SettheregulatorattheairdeliverysystemtoaPSIthat
fallswithinthetool'soperating range of180-330PSI.
The correctpressureisthelowestpressurethatwill do
thejob.

THETOOLMUSTOPERATEPROPERLY.
NAILLOADING
Alwaysloadnailsintothe tool'smagazine beforethe air
supplyisconnected. Connectingtheairsupplyafterloading
nailsreduces therisk ofunintentionallydriving anail and
injuringyourselforsomeoneelse.
Ifthenailsarenotloaded properly,thetoolwillmisfireand
nailscanbe deflected,causing the tooltoreactinan
unexpectedmanner,anddamagethetool.

Therearetwomethodsofoperation todrivenailswiththis
tool.
They are:
1.Sequentialfire.
2.Contactfire.
Sequentialfireoperation.
UsetheSINGLEACTUATIONMECHANISMsetting.

UnliketheFULLSEQUENTIALACTUATIONMECHANISM,
pleasenotethattheSINGLE ACTUATIONMECHANISMof
thistoolwilldrive anail eachtimethepushleveris
pressed againstthewoodaslong asthe triggeris
pressed.
Forintermittentoperation,settheswitching devicetothe
upwardpositioncompletely.
To avoiddoublefiring oraccidentalfiring duetorecoil.
